I have a game with a mix of in-person and remote players, and the Jabra 510 has really helped communication for everyone. The mic picks up everyone at the in-person table really well, and the speaker is loud enough for us to hear the remote people. We use Zoom for audio so I can stream music and background FX to everyone, and Roll20 for map sharing and video.
Not a work from home broker but a work from tech industry guy who finds this sub interesting (and I'm glad somebody asked the "what's a Vlad" question yesterday 'cause I was curious too :)). When my wife and I are working in the same room, I use Airpod Pros for audio and my speakerphone for mic. When we're not working in the same room I use speakerphone for everything.
Speakerphone is this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00AQUO5RI
It has wireless/bluetooth capability but I always just have it connected USB. Can't recommend it highly enough. I can be sitting 5 feet away and sound like I'm professionally mic'd. Audio is crystal clear.
This may not be the answer you're looking for but I use a Jabra external speaker and mic coz the mic and sound is so much better. The model I have comes with an mute button which is quite handy.
I have the Bluetooth version which has USB and Bluetooth. If you use Skype on your computer, it integrates very well with it. It also integrates well with the phone.

Sorry for the delay - I use the stock camera that comes with the unit and then a wireless Jabra speaker (synced to laptop) to broadcast across large rooms:
Edit: The Chromebox setup that I use comes with a stock camera and a Wired Jabra speaker (similar to the above wireless speaker). I connect that with a USB 3.0 extension cable so that the wired speaker can be moved across the room / conference table if needed.
If you use a echo cancelling conference microphone/speaker like the Jabra, it will be everything you need in one USB plug and play device.

Speakers are easy. You can pick from any number of non-computer related speaker options. Something like the KEF LS50 would work well.
Microphones depend on the environment. If you're sitting at a desk, I would probably suggest something along the lines of a USB Recording mic. If you want to move around the room, perhaps a ceiling mic or a tabletop array would be more suitable.
That said, it's often the case that too much fidelity isn't necessarily a good thing. While everyone's ears are different, reducing the low frequency response tends to make speech more intelligible. I've had surprisingly good results with simple devices like these. They work well for one person (or a few people).
