You can always buy one of these if it helps to avoid the charging line.
It is this one.
I have 2 and both are doing the same thing.
It's not as powerful but I got a Jackery 12000mah power bank from amazon and it has been invincible. I've dropped it a bunch of times and it still works absolutely fine.
Although I got it in a Prime Day deal for £20...
I use this one since I've had it for a while. Has two ports with different charging speeds, a power indicator light, and a decent, built-in flashlight.
The one you're considering looks pretty good. It's got 8000mAh more than the one I use, has two ports, and a 4-pt power level indicator. I can't vouch for Xiaomi quality since I don't a product by them, but it seems to be well-rated on Amazon.
I know I'm late to this, but I have a Jackery giant battery pack that I used while playing Pokémon go over the summer. 12000mah charger, I could get 4 full charges out of it on my Samsung s5 with a 2800mah battery. Considering the battery for the Switch is being rated at 4300mah, you should be able to get at least 2 charges out of it.
I have had this for two years and it still works great. It can charge my phone almost 4 times on 1 charge of the battery. It can charge two devices at once, but only one at 2.4 amps. It also has a flashlight and fits easily in my pocket or backpack. It is a great battery for the price. [link]
Jackery 12000mah I have this one, I can charge my oneplus a few times, has a 2.1A output and a 1.0A output. It charges my phone as fast as the wall charger or my 2.4A car charger. The photos on amazon make it look huge, but really it's about the size of my phone, just thicker. Sits in my pocket just fine.
I purchased a GoPro before my trip to Cameroon, Africa over the summer and I am pretty sure I came up with one of the best traveling GoPro kits. It can be a little pricey though.
First off, I would get the Hero 4 Black, just be sure to play around with it and figure out what looks best before the trip.
Second, I would rethink not bringing a computer. I was not planning to bring a computer to Cameroon and instead bring three 64gb SD cards. It was a last minute decision to bring a laptop as well as a 1TB external hard drive and I am so happy I did. You don't want to have to stop filming or constantly be worrying if your going to fill up your SD card. It allowed for me to get shots (time lapses) I would have never been able to get if I was limited to SD cards. It is way better at the end of the day to just dump all the footage over to an external hard drive and start the next day with a clean SD card. It would also take forever for all the clips to transfer over into dropbox. So I would recommend bringing a laptop. I had a Macbook Air so the size was convenient.
Third, like you mentioned, you will want at least a total of three batteries. I also highly recommend the Hero4 Dual Battery Charger so you can charge the batteries without them being in the camera.
Next I recommend the Jackery Giant+ External Battery. Plug in the dual charger to the external battery, throw it in your backpack and you can charge your batteries on the go. I would charge the external battery over night, and any time my battery died I would just plug it in and charge it up. Battery life is one of the most important things and having this made me never have to worry.
Accessories I highly recommend that I used a lot on my trip:
Pole Mount (Comes with tripod mount)
Hope that helped, feel free to checkout the video of my trip!
Get one of these and you'll never have power issues again
will this probably work with the nintendo switch?
I got this at the current sale price. Been working well for me.
