Drop one pair of socks. Unless you're going 6 days between resupply on a regular basis, you'll only need one pair to switch out.
On that note, add that sock back when you get to Vermont. The mud is ridiculous and you'll need it then.
Carry an extra pair of shoe insoles at Vermont. It's the worst feeling in the morning when it's cold and you have to put on your wet shoes. Your socks immediately get wet because the insoles didn't dry out. You can start out from Georgia with a pair, but Vermont is where ypur shoes will be wet enough to justify it.
Toothpaste is missing from the lighterpack. My recommendation is don't buy a travel toothpaste like normal. Go to dollar general. They sell toothpaste for a dollar that is exactly twice the size, lasting twice as long. You'll only have buy a tube once a month.
Switch earplugs and buy yourself a set of cheap shooting ear plugs. They don't block all the noise, but greatly reduce them. They were great for when you're camping near trains, traffic, or snorers. They're also easy to clean. Just make sure to get them in a bright color so you'll be able to find them when you accidentally drop one.
Buy a Fuel Can Transfer Adapter. There's always fuel cans in hiker boxes that you can syphon from, so you'll never have to worry about running out of gas. You'll be saving money in the long run, and your hiking buddies will love you when you let them borrow it.
I've heard of people refilling them from hiker boxes with something like this. I wonder how practical that is and if you really need to put the receiving canister in the freezer before doing so. It would definitely cut down on waste
You can by a valve that lets you refill them yourself too. You can use partial cans or bigger cans to refill smaller ones. Something like this
Cables (micro usb/iphone) - get an adapter so you only have a single cable. make sure the cable is at least 3 ft. Any shorter and you risk not getting access to wall outlets sometimes.
Nemo Chipper Sit Pad - it's on the heavier side. You can get lighter ones for <$15.
3 Nyloflume pack liners - why 3? If durability is an issue, get a compactor bag.
Smartwool Socks - if you haven't bought socks yet, get Darn Toughs. If you already bought the smartwool, get Darn Toughs when you replace them on the trail. Your socks will get worn through and you can exchange them on the trail either from the company itself or through various outfitters.
