Also...google oldest Marian hymn and you find something from 250AD which is pretty early. I suspect some themes in Scripture such as the Queen Mother were so clear to Jewish eyes and really anyone immersed in the early tradition that you may not see explicit mention.

The Catholic Faith is the only thing worth living and dying for. You are the head of the family. Your wife probably hates the Catholic Church because she does understand it. (I hated the Catholic Church for about 20 years, because - surprise - the only Catholic books and material I read were by non-Catholics)

These books are written very plainly - they arent theological tomes. What I like most is how much they focus on real life, or history. The author’s personal journeys with the topics discussed really highlight the beauty of the Church

Eventually I ran out of things I could critique and began the process of conversion. I had no catholic friends or family at the time haha
