It’s an initial fulfillment of Isaiah 24-25:9 which then culminated in the last supper where Jesus shows that he is the bridegroom of the church and he gives the new supernatural wine fortold in Isaiah.
It is also the continuation of divine meal of the covenant that we see in Exodus 24:9-11. Covenant is another word for marriage in Hebrew thought.
