Now that i'm not on my phone, here's the chair I bought back in 2014. I still love it. I will say that the pleather seat is kinda crap, and it started cracking pretty quickly BUT I also fidget a lot on my chairs, probably contributed. But I just took some scrap denim that I had, ripped off the cracked pleather, and then restapled it down. SUPER easy to reupholster!
Might even be worth getting a saddle chair to make the experience even more engrossing. (https://www.amazon.com/BetterPosture-Multifunctional-Ergonomic-Posture-Tilting/dp/B003BWS8GC)
At least if you can find something a bit on the cheap.
Now we just need tracking on stuff like that for VR. During the conversation at the first black smith you meet up with I pulled up my chair IRL and sat down for the chat around the table. Really nice both to sit down for a while and for immersion.
this is the one i got. very comfortable but only if you have a raised desk (which i was very lucky to find on craigs list). I used it with a normal height desk and it hurt my rear end. of course if youre much shorter than 6ft (my height) you might be okay. it also looks really cool too. full leather and chrome base. other than that it also has a tilting feature which forces you to maintain good posture, I think that's why i ended up going with this one.
