I've used the Juicebox 40 for almost 3 years now without issue. The latest version is rated for outdoor installs and they do have a non-hard wired option so you can unplug it and remove it easily. It has some nice wifi features for controlling and monitoring charging remotely that seem to work well, but honestly I have rarely used them. Just plug the card in and you can rely on it being properly charged when you return.
If you have the choice hardwiring is always best. reduction of connection points for these high amp circuits is a reduction in fire risk.
I believe juicebox is approved for smart EVSE rebate from PSEG NJ. Its another pretty solid offering for J1772 EVSEs https://www.amazon.com/JuiceBox-40-Next-Generation-Electric-Charging/dp/B07ZL41687
otherwise you're into FB marketplace and ebay to get a home flex asap.
Electric car charger.
It's a NEMA 14-50 right? Those are very popular for electric car chargers. A 50 amp outlet can deliver 40 amps continuous at 240v (you have to derate by 20% for EV chargers or any other load that will be continuous for more than a couple hours). 40 amps at 240v is 9600 watts. That'll fully charge (0-100%) a Tesla Model Y in about 8.5 hours. That makes it perfect for overnight charging of almost any electric car.
To charge your EV, you need an EVSE (Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment), aka an electric car charger. Here's a popular one that has lots of cool features. ChargePoint Home Flex and Autel are also good. If you don't need bells and whistles, Clipper Creek is rock solid and will last forever. I suggest avoid Grizzl-E as they have problems with overheating and sometimes catching fire.
If you want a “more reliable” solution, this will work perfect and is very highly rated. https://www.amazon.com/JuiceBox-Electric-Vehicle-Charging-Station/dp/B07ZL41687/ref=sr\_1\_3\_sspa?crid=1YU108XNS1UEM&keywords=J1772%2Bcharger&qid=1641481687&sprefix=j1772%2Bcharger%2Caps%2C59&sr=8-3-spons&smid=A3RM0KG48LQ5IK&a...
thanks for that in depth, detailed, well researched analysis /s
my problem is that you're just making stuff up. Here's a random juicebox
https://www.amazon.com/JuiceBox-40-Next-Generation-Electric-Charging/dp/B07ZL41687/ref=sr_1_1_sspa
It has 76% 5 stars, and a 4.5 rating. That's great. And there are 800 reviews. That's just reviews, from one product listing, on one website. I'm pretty sure that means they've sold more than 20k units.
I went with the Juicebox 40 electric with 14-50 plug. See below. There is a 32 Electric but heard 40 works too and some what future proof a little more if we decide to get another EV that can take the 40 full potential since Jeep 4xe changes up to 32.
Would have gotten it from Georgia power online that gave the automatic discount right away but they were out. So ordered it on Amazon. Plus, in order to get the rebate from Georgia Power, I had to have a professional install the electric plug with proof of invoice and proof purchase from Amazon.
JuiceBox 40 Smart Electric... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07ZL41687?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
No-name chargers are okay in a pinch, but I'd be looking for something UL rated for everyday use. The cheap chargers usually don't have overheat protection and can melt a faulty outlet.
For 120v, I'd recommend looking on eBay for an OEM cable from Chevy, Nissan, or Toyota. I'm using a Toyota EVSE on my Leaf: https://www.ebay.com/itm/124739921259
For 240v you should consider a hardwired, mounted charger, which will make it harder for anyone to walk off with. The new JuiceBox is a little pricy, but it has a nice locking bracket with a key designed for public applications. Plus you can get a tax credit for 30% of your purchase and installation costs... https://www.amazon.com/JuiceBox-40-Next-Generation-Electric-Charging/dp/B07ZL41687/

I’m very happy with this one:

You’ll need a 50A plug (or have an electrician direct wire) but it does a complete charge in about 2 hours. The cable is longer than the factory one.
I have e a juice box that I recommend JuiceBox 40 Smart Electric... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07ZL41687?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
If you want a wall mounted thing, get a JuiceBox Pro 40, the Tesla will have a J1772 adapter plug, and you can just move it between the two vehicles as needed.
In briefly looking at the Pacifica hybrid online it appears that it does not come with a charger. Evidently Chrysler punts the puck over to an Amazon site that acts as a store for level 2 chargers, which which the JuiceBox is one of the recommended ones.
My personal recommendation is to just have someone install two 240 volt chargers in your garage, or wherever the things will be spending their resting time, and then buy proper NEMA 14-50 chargers for them. The X will come with a charger, but the Pacifica you'll need to source one, but you'll be able to charge both at the same time.
I've had a NEMA 14-50 outlet installed for each of my EVs, and I just leave them plugged in when not in use. Works out fairly well.
Juicebox has amazing customer service and would be really easy to transport/move. I've been using one for 3 years now. Here's an Amazon link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07ZL41687/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_apa_i_ah3MEbQ3PQ604
I went back and TL;DR'ed this because I'm a long-winded bag, so please feel free to scroll down.
I can't speak to this particular product, and I just got my Bolt yesterday, but Juicebox makes a great product when it comes to the level 2 charging, and I think they're pretty affordable compared to the competition ($599 on Amazon, I think, and it cost me an additional $150 to have an outlet installed in the garage; I actually had a second one done for my welder for just $25 more). This model is newer than what I have (mine lacks the remote programming aspect over WiFi, but I bought it 3+ years ago so it's nice to see the price point has remained with added features):
JuiceBox 40 Next Generation Smart Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Station with WiFi - 40 amp Level 2 EVSE, 25-Foot Cable, UL & Energy Star Certified, Indoor/Outdoor Use (NEMA 14-50 Plug, Black/Grey) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07ZL41687/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_apa_i_qWEwEbARHQN8Q
I originally had this for my 2012 Volt, and later my 2015 Tesla Model S60. It is currently charging my one day old Bolt. It's been a workhorse.
I can't recommend level 2 charging enough; it's a game changer. The amount of times I've charged up anywhere but my home is about 3 times in the past 7 years. My lifestyle doesn't require it (my wife has an ICE car for road trips) and it's been a while, but public chargers used to always have some sort of hassle attached (having to text a number to turn it on, sign up for an account, etc.).
For this company in particular, they are the bee's knees when it comes to customer support. My first unit lasted 2 years and gave up the ghost randomly one day when I was changing a light fixture in my home and the breakers were mislabeled. Accidentally cut the garage, and the unit went kaput. I contacted them, they mailed me a box, I took it down... In the process realizing that my electrician had cut the cord and hardwired it to prevent theft (my portable charger for my Volt had been stolen one night, which is what led me to buy this/upgrade to level 2 in the first place, and I had told him the story, so he did me that "favor").
I sent it back, with a short explanation and apology. They said they'd take a look. Three days after mailing it I got an email saying that my new unit was ready to ship, and that while the hardwiring had technically voided the warranty, they were only going to charge me shipping. And they included the longer cord gratis as in the course of my apology and explanation, I mentioned that my vehicle had changed and that the cord was a bit short for the Tesla's configuration.
Sorry this response was so long. I just realized how much I've been going on.
TL;DR: Get a level 2 charger from Juicebox.
Amazon has it for 599
