These plugs I'm selling have a web server built in. You can edit the code to do whatever you want and then reflash the firmware. Not sure about how you would get SSH going though. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09D68P39F
I'm selling these. I think they're pretty slick if you're willing to go WiFi. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09D68P39F
I haven’t used the smart plugs from KaufHA, but I have used their bulbs and I like them. They come pre-flashed ESPhome so they can easily be flashed to whatever you want (if ESPhome isn’t already what you want).
I'm selling these that come with ESPHome already on them. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09D68P39F
SonOff S31 is my go-to. They are cheap and really easy to flash over with ESPHome. Does require a USB flasher and some soldering or a steady hand though.
Alternatively if you don't want to deal with USB flashing, Athom and CloudFree both make plugs that come with Tasmota or ESPHome pre-installed so you can use them for local control out of the box or flash a custom firmware to them OTA. CloudFree also sells S31 plugs that have been pre-flashed with Tasmota.
Another commenter also mentioned these plugs on Amazon which look like the same hardware as the CloudFree plugs
I sell these with ESPHome on them. Local control only. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09D68P39F
I've just released these plugs that come with ESPHome pre programmed and will return to their previous state by default: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09D68P39F
