Your smartphone likely has glass that won't get scratched by keys. I carry my flashlight or my knife in the same pocket as my cell phone, and neither have caused damage to it. That said, I understand the concern. Would something like this help, by keeping your keys more together and less likely to scratch your phone?
This is the exact one I got. I only use it for 4-keys. It came with extensions, so i could probably fit another 2-keys tops. If you see my earlier post, you can note that to be affective, the supplied washers need to be on either side of each key. Well, they take up space and make it tight, but it works great. I can only comment on 6-keys worth. If you have more than that, I would continue researching.

Never fear, PriceKnight is here!

Hahaha. Ok that makes a lot more sense.
I'd pass on a keybar and go with a Keysmart. They've got several options (I use the Keysmart Rugged myself because it has a pocket clip) and I think they look better and are designed better than a keybar.
Keysmart Classic: The Original
Keysmart Extended and Keysmart Extended Ti: For longer keys
Keysmart Rugged and Keysmart Rugged Ti: Extra durable, with a removable pocket clip and bottle opener
Keysmart Lite: Super lightweight and a little less expensive
Keysmart Bright: Built in flashlight
Keysmart Pro: Built in flashlight and tile functionality
