Best co detector (10 yr lithium, 10ppm, current reading status, all these set it apart): https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FHW7P40/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I just arrived in los angeles yesterday soo not anymore :) Honestly i didn't follow up with atlas though that was the best shot while i was there. I found someone i knew is coming to LA soon so i knew i could definitely get started sending them immediately.
I was researching them online when you replied. I dont like the battery powered ones where you have to replace batteries every year. I havent found a 240v detector yet and now that i think about it every outlet i tried required a little jiggling to work.. So, for them there in jordan im thinking about sending them a sealed alarm like one of these from the top two brands
> The unit contains a 10-year tamper proof battery that eliminates the need for battery replacement, and provides continuous monitoring of CO levels, even during power outages. The Event Memory feature alerts you if a high level of carbon monoxide has been detected within the last 14 days.
I can get it for under $30 on amazon and after 10 years you just throw it away. The prices of these have really come down now that i've checked. It seems there is a new law spreading across the states that has forced manufactures to pound these out cheaply. Its still double the price of the most basic one sold here but you save that much on batteries and it's literally impossible to die unless they put it outside. I'll probably order a couple for myself today and try it before getting more to send to jordan
