I have one of these near the front of my house. Not only is it good for the maids like you are asking about, it is also a good place for you to have an extra key stored as a backup. In case of a power outage, if you normally enter your house via your garage door like so many other people and you don't have a set of keys, this will get you into your own house.

Easy to change the pass code, easy to install. If you are worried about someone braking into this to get your key, if they have the tools to break this, they have the tools to break your doors, door locks, and windows. If it gets to that point they are getting in no matter what.

We have this combo. $40 and haven't had any issues. We had to get the first when I managed to lock myself out, barefoot, while my husband was in another state. Luckily, kiddo wasn't home and we're renting so they were able to bring me the key.
