I'm able to get red tips on my jades indoors. I use grow lights and also have them in a southwest facing window.
The link for your setup won't work for me so I can't see what lights you have, but I use these and they work really well. Also how close do you have them to your jades? And how long on?

Really works well. All kinds of adjustments you can make and its auto timed if you want.
I’m no expert by any means — and I know what you mean about the reviews, it makes my head spin — but I went with these: KINGBO Newest 15000Lux Led Grow... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07LG39B3M?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
They only had two heads/bulbs on them when they arrived, but I just went with it. My plants are growing better than they ever have without, but I must mention these are only supplementing light for me. I can’t say if they would work in a basement or something like that.
I’ve been looking at the strip led lights you can mount under a shelf, but I can’t tell which ones work.
Good luck!
Appreciate the advice. I found this on amazon: https://www.amazon.com/KINGBO-Spectrum-Gooseneck-2-Switch-Replaceable/dp/B07LG39B3M/ref=mp_s_a_1_6?keywords=plant+light&qid=1556394641&s=gateway&sr=8-6
Someone in a review has their Heliamphoras and Sundews under it and said they were thriving. Not sure if this would work.
I have three sets of these lights and I love them. Have had for almost a year and a half and haven't had to replace bulbs. I like that they're full spectrum instead of the blue/red spectrum, mostly because I can't stand the purple light they emit.

this is the one I use, I have 4 pairs covering my entire stand of plants. I have it hooked up to a $10 smart outlet that cycles the lights off for 10 minutes every 4 hours (recommended by the company to prolong the bulb life), plus off for 6 hours to give the plants a rest.
About 10 hours. The strength of the bulbs isn't super high, it's this little lamp: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07LG39B3M/
I bought it as a stopgap solution until I learned more about grow lamps/the plants needs. I'm in the process of setting up a better place for them at a south-facing window, but I don't think there will be enough room for all of them there so I may need to keep a few at the north facing one with a lamp.

The built-in timer only goes to 12 hours, and I read in some reviews you can add your own to override it, but I just turn off and on myself instead. 😁

Here are my seedlings as of this morning. No laughing at my liberal use of Cinnamon. 🤣 I'll be cleaning it off and redusting when I have time this weekend.
Depends, the stronger the growlight the further you can keep them. Mine aren’t the most powerful, so they have to be a little close, that that’s ok. 🥰
Anywhere from a foot to half a foot^^
If you put two or three up under a shelf for this one ^^^ like a foot. This one my lithops bloomed under too, I like them a lot. They’re light and easy to mount with double sided 3M type tapes.
But also, a lot of my echs just grow like morons over time their rosettes stay compact but over time grow stem as they absorb bottom leafs with age. 🤷♀️ Sometimes they do whatever they want. Sometimes they need beheaded. 🥰 this guy will be amazing in a few months, a full pot one day. You’ll see.
The leaves shriveling up is normal. Succulents will often re-absorb nutrients from their leaves to support the rest of the plant. This is especially common on the older, lower leaves. Just be sure to pluck the shriveled leaf once it's dry and crispy, not if it's still soft.
Overall, your plant looks great despite the stretching (though I read that you got it like this.) If the new growth at the top is also stretching you may want to get a grow light. I've been using this light since March and all my plants are doing really well. I also use a 24 hr timer like this so I can have my light turn on early in the morning, a little bit around noon, and during the evening. But, that might not be necessary for you. I live in a cold area. During the winter it's usually cloudy and it starts getting dark at 5 pm. If you live somewhere sunny and you keep your plant in a south-facing window you might not have to worry about lights.
Also, as your plant grows it might get a bit top-heavy. I had a couple like this before I went and started propagating them. What I did was take some bamboo skewers, stuck them in the dirt, and then tied the plant up to the skewer with some yarn. You may want 3 skewers positioned like a triangle if it's really heavy.
Not sure which one they got but this one works real well for succulents: https://www.amazon.ca/KINGBO-Spectrum-Gooseneck-2-Switch-Replaceable/dp/B07LG39B3M/ref=cm\_cr\_arp\_d\_product\_top?ie=UTF8
Lithops are like 3-5 inches away. I get amazing compact growth on my moonstones, and my lithops did flower under this light. It gets a bit warm to the touch, but that’s ok. It’s drafty one my house. Convenient.
My croton was right underneath these, but was happy and put off a massive amount of growth (pnw croton still happy? Yeah). I used two. They are light enough I use those 3m or whatever sticky tape picture holders, no drilling or holes. You can plug them into each other and not use so many outlets.
Old Man Cactus is stuck in his ways and remains in his pot.
However all new plants were repotted from their original plastic pots this morning. I generally followed this video. Pack down soil (gently), watered twice, saturating them. Will now leave them to dry for at least a week. Maybe 2? Will keep checking soil to make sure it dries out.
I used an old bag of Miracle Gro Cactus, Palm, & Citrus Soil I had laying around. Old Man has been in it for several years and has yet to kick the bucket. It drains fairly quickly and has sand & perlite in it.
The stand is from Home Depot and I'm quite happy with it.
Everything is currently in an East-facing window. I have a grow light on order to help give the plants some extra oomph. I plan to hook it up to a light timer I have in my old box of never-throw-crap-away.

these are the gooseneck lights i bought off of amazon. i understand that these cheap lights might not be the true industrial level LED lights, but i think they work great for propagating stuff inside. as soon as i set my lights on my prop tray it almost immediately responded with roots and leaves
Hi!
Fertilizer I mix one teaspoon with two cups of water. Poor into bottom of tray. I’ve done this twice three times in the past three weeks. The first was after the plants started looking like this. Hasn’t changed anything (good or bad)
The tray is a warming tray - gentle warming, it’s not hot to touch. The two cups of water I use gets absorbed pretty quick. There is no standing water. I would say I water about every 2-3 days. I used to water from the top before the plants looked like this. I stopped on advice from my seed seller.
Try these! HUGE difference! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07LG39B3M?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I currently have a dieffenbachia, peace lily, bromeliads and croton. I’ll use the light for the croton, dieffenbachia and peace lily. I’m considering this light: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07LG39B3M/ref=psdc_14252941_t1_B07Q4RQ4V6
Thanks!!!
Yes and it’s a little oscillating desk top tower fan hooked up with my timer. These are the lights https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07LG39B3M/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_-vsQCbE1TJ63M.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07LG39B3M?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share It’s only 30 for the one I got and it’s really bright
