This kit should work. Make sure both work at 1600 MHz CL 10-10-10.
I cant say for sure if it would be a problem or not, but I've always heard that when adding more memory getting the exact same ram as what you already have is best. Is this not a possibility?
From your post I gather you currently have 2x4gb hyperX fury 1600MHz ram, correct? I believe this exact ram is still being sold (amazon link).
Yup, the R9 290 is a good card.
If you could spend a little more I would get an i5 processor though.
As for the case, any case that can fit an Atx motherboard will do. Just make sure the case comes with some fans. Maybe 2 or 3.
You should hold off until more experienced people come in to comment though.
Edit: For the memory maybe get a hyperX, Kingston HyperX FURY 8GB Kit (2x4GB) 1600MHz DDR3 CL10 DIMM - Blue (HX316C10FK2/8) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00J8E8ZLK/ref=cm_sw_r_other_awd_4-jswbERBXVA9 cos I'm not too sure about the brand mushkin.
As for the CPU I didn't mention AMD as I'm not familiar with their CPU s but they provide more performance per $, so you may want to ask around in the AMD threads. But motherboard will have to be changed though, the other parts would be most likely compatible with the new motherboard. /r/amd
I can't find a cheaper motherboard that is pure black and white like the MSI Krait.
I did come upon this ram:
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00J8E8ZLK/?tag=pcpapi-20
It's a same ram with different color heatsinks. If you like, you can buy two sticks of black and two sticks of white.
this is the ram https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00J8E8ZLK/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 this is the ssd https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01K1W7JNW/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Thanks for getting back to me but id rather a windows build seeing as I also want to play steam games and id run into less problems .I also have a copy lying around. Thanks for your time
$1500 budget. minecraft, might buy h1, csgo, overwatch, and league of legends
don't worry about monitor, keyboard or mouse.
i also already have my list done but if you'd like to tweak some things that'd be better or more price reliable go ahead
I see. So if I purchased two of these, that should work?

Also, I looked on the motherboard's page.
http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3265#sp
Under memory is says:
4 x 1.5V DDR3 DIMM sockets supporting up to 16 GB of system memory (Note 1) Dual/3 channel memory architecture Support for DDR3 2100+/1333/1066/800 MHz memory modules
How do I know from that that only 4GB RAM sticks will work?
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00J8E8ZLK/?tag=pcpapi-20
nice, blue RAM.
Would this ram fit? Amazon have it super cheap at the moment and being blue it would go really nice with the case http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00J8E8ZLK/?tag=ho01f-21
Looks like a great build, but if you want to have 2 290x's in your system, you'd want an 850W PSU. If you have no intention on getting a second one (you honestly shouldn't need one, as that card will tear anything up at 1080p, and nearly anything at 1440p) you could drop the wattage down to 550-600W. This wouldn't limit any other upgrades other than multi-GPU configurations.
You could also get some cheaper RAM; Kingston HyperX 2x4gb, and you could also get a slightly faster i5, this one turbos a fair bit higher; i5-4590
