I have short, straight Asian lashes, so for years I'd just accepted that my lashes would never look good with any mascara. Too Faced Better Than Sex came close to changing my mind for a hot minute. But it flaked off for me and didn't last all day. Then I tried the Isehan Kiss Me Heroine Make Long & Curl mascara and everything changed. It actually holds my curl all day, gives my lashes really good length, doesn't clump, and doesn't flake. I don't think I'm ever going to switch to another mascara. The only downside is that it's really hard to get off, like so hard they had to make their own remover for it.
It's available for around $14 with Prime shipping on Amazon. There's also a Volume & Curl version that I haven't tried.
Nooo I have moderately long lashes, but no volume or curl at all so they are barely noticeable without mascara. This mascara is a godsend, it's a Japanese brand and super underrated :) I bought mine at Olive Young, but Amazon has it too.
Hm, I have the same problem and Rollerlash wasn't even strong enough to keep a curl on my long and super-straight lashes.
The only thing I have found to work is Kiss Me Heroine Make Long and Curl. Now my lashes magically stayed curled all day after heating up my eyelash curler with a blow dryer. Definitely get the liquid remover for this mascara, though.
is this the one you mean? looks like it is only available on amazon, ebay or yesstyle. ebay the prices are comparable to amazon before shipping is calculated. certainly with yesstyle you will end up paying the same if not more after shipping, and you'll have to wait three or four weeks to get it. i would hazard to guess that yes, once you pay for shipping you will have saved very little money and you will have to wait longer potentially for your item to arrive. if i were you, i would just buy it from amazon, assuming you have amazon where you are.
For the record I have very long but very straight lashes (I'm white). I use Maybelline Volum Express The Colossal. It's not blow your socks off amazing, but it's the best I have found so far.
This is def on my list to try, though:
Kiss Me Heroine Make Long and Curl Mascara
This is the most waterproof mascara I've ever used and it's RIDICULOUSLY GOOD. This shit does NOT budge. No clumping, just glossy black lashes.
I cried all through my best friend's wedding, and this mascara stayed perfectly intact. Eye wiping and all. You could go swimming with this stuff.
It's hard to remove (obviously), but a good rub with some facial oil gets most of it out.
Kiss Me Heroine Mascara. Either one (Long and Curl or Volume and Curl) are really great. A bitch to take off, though.
I always get it on Amazon because of prime shipping, but you'll find it cheaper on eBay or other common Asian makeup websites.
Here it is on Amazon: [link]
Holy moly! That's a great difference! And they look lovely, not spidery at all. I see another poster got theirs from Amazon.... Which means with prime I can have a tube by Saturday... Yes please!
Is this the right one? I can read Japanese, but it looks about right. They have one called "kiss me isehan heroine long and curl" too. Just gotta make sure I get the right one...
My eyelashes are super straight Asian lashes, so it took me forever to find a mascara that could hold them up. I use a Japanese mascara called Kiss me heroine long and curl. It's an HG for mascaras in /r/AsianBeauty
It's waterproof and actually kind of hard to remove if you don't have any makeup remover oil. I also would recommend getting an eye lash curler as they really do make a difference
Just Kidding. (Or do I...? O_o)
Backstory: HI, I AM SPIDER LASH QUEEN... Honestly went through this point in my life where I just lost ~~my mind~~ most of my real lashes, and they never grew back. So it's really hard to find a HG mascara (I've tried a dozen high-end brands from Sephora), and I kind of gave up on wearing it besides on occasional nights out.
Anyway, I've been seeing this 'HG OMG' Japanese mascara while floating through post comments and decided to give it a try. I curled my lashes prior and tried to use two coats.
Purchased on Amazon from US based seller.
Note: I have used that viral dual lash set that has a fiber tube and a formula tube where you're supposed to stack the two on your lashes to make them gigantic. Well, I was annoyed with that and it could get sloppy, just tossed it after awhile. This mascara is like the better, more refined version of that.
For me, holding a curl is nearly most important since my lashes are short and straight, and this mascara does that. Its main strengths are lengthening, volumizing, and holding a curl so it's worth a try. I feel this would work awesome when you wear falsies and don't want ANY of your natural lashes to fall lower than the falsies because the formula will hold them up.
I've read some people say it's hard to get off, but I use Banila Co. CIZ, and it's EZ-PZ.
If you have naturally long or thick lashes, your lashes would probably be cray, in a good way.
Thanks for the read, and Happy Tuesday! :)
TLDR: HEY, it's pretty good when done right.
If you can get ahold of it in time, Heroine Make Long+Curl looks fabulous and is bulletproof. I usually get it via Amazon Prime here
I have not personally tried this one, but I’ve heard really great things about it.

Can anyone help me understand the difference between the Kiss Me Heroine Make Mascara Long and Curl in the pink tube (wth black cap) vs the black tube (with purple cap)? Is it just that the pink tube is less waterproof than the black tube? Links below to the two products I am talking about

The one thing I'm doing the same from my first wedding to this wedding is ordering from the same cake place, LOL. We're doing a cupcake cake, maybe less danger of dropping ;)
I'm pretty sure the venue staff escorted the crasher out...
And--the only product I'm actually spending a lot of money on is the Estee Lauder Double Wear, and I bought a travel-size Urban Decay De-Slick for $14. I already had the rest of the products:
NARS blush in Orgasm (or I may use NYX blush, Desert Rose is one of my faves)
I got a DS of pore-minimizing primer from Smashbox (got in a beauty box I think, or maybe was a GWP). Just using this on my nose.
I'm going to try out a couple of different primers practicing beforehand, and will decide between my BECCA Backlight primer, Tarina Tarantino illuminizing primer, or possibly Stila Stay-All-Day mattifying balm (already have these).
I'm going to use Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil bronzer to contour, I think, but I also love the Wet N Wild Mega Glo contour duo for bronzer (in Dulce de Leche), it's only $5
If I do highlight, it'll probably be my NYX Illuminator in Ritualistic. I have a ton of more expensive highlighters but that's one of my faves.
Etude House eyshadow primer (also cheap)
Colourpop shadow in I Heart This or L'Oreal Infallible Shadow in Amber Rush (<$5)
Jessie's Girl waterproof liquid eyeliner ($6.99)
Heroine Make Long & Curl Mascara, $14 on Amazon Prime, it's the most waterproof and smudgeproof makeup I've ever tried (I actually rarely wear it cause it's a b*** to take off). [link]
Rimmel Clear lipliner to keep my lips from bleeding
NYX lipstick in Soft Femme, or possibly Lipstick Queen Medieval, both of which I have already.
I don't think you have to spend too much on products, you just gotta research which ones in your price range are the best :) Plus then you get to use those products again and again. (I actually still have the lipstick I wore from my first wedding, Clinique in Whimsy, it's a tiny nub but I still wear it occasionally LOL)
an asian mascara called 'Kiss me Heroine make long and curl mascara'. Give it a try, its cheaper than sephora mascaras, but difficult to remove

I don't hear much about AB polishes on the main sub, but there's a fair amount about makeup. Here are a few things that I've heard good things about and think are unique to Asian Beauty!
Links are to Amazon, but you can usually find them for cheaper on eBay (buy from a 99.3%+ positive seller) or from sites like BeautyNetKorea or Jolse. Shipping would take much longer than Amazon Prime, though!
Ive never used it, (waiting on my "They're Real!" to run out) but I've heard great shit about Kiss Me Heroine
