Best god damn purchase I’ve ever made^

It’s cut my screen time from 5 - 6.5 hours per day to just 2 or so. I feel so much more in command of my time and brain ever since I started using it. When I wake up, I’ll put my phone right in there, do a deep work session for like 4 hours, have it out for lunch, then another 4 hours, have it out during dinner then it’s in there for another 2 hours or so.

It’ll change your life

Still working on it, but I have one of these!!! It's great for when you know there's a time period where you do not want to use your phone at all (like during class, or when you're going to sleep!). You'll still need to work internally to stop using it but this at least helps you get done what you need to. Another option is switching to a flip phone but I haven't done that because there are so many situations where I'm out of the house and find I actually need my phone (especially with vaccine verifications on phones now, or checkins for things, etc).

I literally bought one of these. Its a box you can put your phone in and lock for a set amount of time. I drilled a hole in the wall so I can put in a charging cable. I set my alarm, put my phone on airplane, and lock it in the box around 6-8pm for 10 hours. his will really ween you off your phone, its great.
