I've got a KitchenAid one I paid $30 for. It's got a mini-food processor bowl, whisk attachment, as well as the blender blade, and came with a tall, deep mixing vessel that works great for things like dressings and sauces. I've been happy with it.

I'm not sure why Amazon wants $99. Mine was regularly $49 on sale 40% off at my local department store.

it was the american test kitchen's recomendation. it's ok (although i may be trying to do too much with it)

1. after 2 weeks, i cracked the bottom of the 1L mixing cup. i was making frappaccinos in the morning. the stick blending part took a bit of work to crush the ice, but it did. the ice would get thrown at high speeds and run into the bottom. ive since bought a metal replacement
2. the food processor attachment is small, you have to do lots of batches. other than that, it's ok
3. i tried pureeing raw chicken and it would overheat after about 30 seconds, and refuse to fire/spin. so i'd have to let it cool down for a few minutes then go again for a little bit.

instead, i may need an actual blender and actual food processor.

That thing is amaze balls. Immersion blending my coffee, oil, butter, & stevia... it's like Starbucks lattes with all the froth. Just make sure the container is 2.5x bigger in volume or else it'll fly out... learned it the hard way. lol

I just use one of those 2-cup Pyrex measuring cups to make my 1cup coffee. So good. No oil slicks. Plus, the other attachments are useful.

I grabbed mine at tuesday morning for 20 bucks. I got the chefman 2 speed stick blend, it does the job. But if you want something comes with extra attachment you can go with the KitchenAid KHB2351CU

Get one of these! The problem disappears and also they have a lot of other uses around the kitchen.

I got a handheld one which isn't too bad. I don't know what BPC stands for...
