I would a layout something like this. I can't visually see your space so adjust how many lights you think you need but based on the measurements this might work (quick idea in photoshop): https://imgur.com/a/glsw9nU
To get the measurement and spacing break it up into 3 zones. Then use this calculator: https://blog.recessedlighting.com/recessed-lighting-calculator/
Select the layout and add in your room dimensions. I then used measuring tape, some painters tape, then marked the measurements on my ceiling. For example 33 inches from the left wall in and 30 inches down from the top wall, put a piece of tape with an X where both lines meet. Once I had my layout down I checked for joists using a magnetic stud finder. Adjust your measurements up or down each row to clear the joist. The wafer lights make it easy but you still need space to stuff the junction box through.
As a side note you might add more lights if you are doing 4 inch vs 6 inch IMO.
Source I DIY my kitchen recess lights. O and I highly recommend this: https://www.amazon.com/Adjustable-Hole-Klein-Tools-53731/dp/B00529WW6O/ref=sr_1_5?crid=3UP9MU83KLJFD&keywords=klein+hole+saw&qid=1651768745&sprefix=klein+hole+saw%2Caps%2C57&sr=8-5
I saved my a lot of clean up and patching, made nice clean holes.
No problem. Also while at it, for $30 it's not perfect, but this will help cut the speaker holes and make less of a mess https://www.amazon.com/Adjustable-Hole-Klein-Tools-53731/dp/B00529WW6O
They make adjustable hole saws you can use on the ceiling. Keeps dust down.

Those Hues look like retrofit. So they most likely are supposed to screw into a can light. Use what the other poster recommended.
Get this cutting tool https://www.amazon.com/Adjustable-Hole-Klein-Tools-53731/dp/B00529WW6O size it for the hole you need to cut based on existing holes. Side benefit is easier cleanup too.
