New to reddit and here to promote the award-winning knitwear designer, Shirley Paden's wonderful first knitting book, Knitwear Design Workshop. It really helped me take my knitting skills to the next level, and her designs are absolutely breathtaking. I cannot recommend this book enough.

Shirley writes, "It will patiently guide you through designing perfectly fitting hand knit clothing with ease. The techniques are taught using step by step instructions, including worksheets that can be photocopied."

Additionally, Shirley Paden is coming out with a new book soon titled Duets & Inspirations, and I'm super excited to see the full thing. Essentially, she worked alongside 16 other impressive knitwear designers and had them use her original designs as their "inspiration" for their own.
