All bike locks are beatable, just depends how much time the theives have.
I still went back to the same brand of lock with this bike was stolen with (Kryptonite), but used an upgraded version: Evo 4 Series and their Flex Cable. Also got another U-Lock from Target if I end up needed two u-locks for whatever reason/ riding into shittier parts of town.
That brand offers a protection plan, but it's gotta be a full moon on a Tuesday for them to fully grant it.
