Your next lock Kryptonite New York Standard Bicycle U-Lock
I use the Kryptonite NY Standard. I lock it through my rear wheel and frame. I use tamper-proof locking nuts on my front wheel so I don't need to separately lock that.
On my other bike, I use an OnGuard Mastiff chain lock, which is long enough the run through both wheels and the frame.
Both work very well. Overall I prefer the NY Standard because it's smaller and quicker to use, but the Mastiff provides better protection (it also weighs like 20lbs). At the end of the day, no lock is impenetrable, and you're goal is really to to make your bike less appealing to a would-be robber than someone else's. It also helps to find spots to lock up your bike where people would notice someone trying to steal it. The locks above would basically require a portable angle grinder to cut through, which most thieves aren't going to whip out on a busy street.
I bought a Kryptonite New York U Lock for my frame mostly and then I have a Kryptonite Keeper that I run through both wheels (take front off and put next to rear) and frame (sometimes post if there's room).
