I added a Kwik Thumb Stud to my Buck knife. Would that work for you?
I didn't do anything to make opening the blade quicker. The stud allows for one handed opening, but doesn't make it any faster.
I bough the stud on Amazon. Kwik Thumb Stud - Stainless https://www.amazon.com/dp/B006OCP46S/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_i41qCbMW52M08
It's really nice. Just uses a small allen wrench to attach and it can be used on most pocket knives.
I love them and have them on most all my knives (that they fit on/don’t come with them already). One of my check boxes when choosing a knife is multiple deployment options. These make good knives great and great knives even better. There are knock offs on Amazon, but are of softer materials that render them useless after the first removal. Also, the cheap ones use a different wrench, so that’s another reason I avoid them. These come in stainless, black, and brass and there is a bar shaped version for knives of different designs as needed. Worth every penny- stainless version
These are awesome and easy. On wider stock, you may have to use a presicion file to widen the gap. They also make a bar style and both versions come in stainless and brass. Don't buy the knock-offs available. The set screw is too small and soft.

If your pingo is worked in it's still a little stiff being a slip joint, but it does help and makes it a 1 hand opener. I bought a kershaw shuffle specifically to get the stud off of it (I broke the shuffle getting the stud.)

Here's a fun, semi useless fact for you: this is all you need to type when linking an amazon page "https://www.amazon.com/Kwik-Thumb-SS-BRK-KTS01756-Stud-Stainless/dp/B006OCP46S/"
the "ref" and everything after it is not necessary.
Looks like a Kwik Thumb Stud to me. On Amazon here
