Amazon. Nootropics depot is really good but not sure about shipping outside of the US and it’s costs . Overall this one from amazon was the one the doc at work recommended amazon
Learning about it seems to explain why I have little issues with caffeine in green tea or matcha vs coffee or an energy drink.
Sure thing, after dinner I take:
- 200mg of l-theanine (https://www.amazon.com/L-Theanine-200mg-Natures-Trove-Vegetarian/dp/B01D1YQBOK),
- 10,000iu Vitamin D3,
- 1200mg Turmeric Curcumin w/ Black Pepper Extract,
- a high potency probiotic.
- 25-50mg zinc.
- 5mg melatonin once I’m in bed.
FWIW, I’ve taken l-theanine for years and don’t recall coming across a bunk brand. I typically buy stuff from Jarrow, Source Naturals, or Doctors Best supplements.
> i know about it except its expensive
I'm not sure what your definition of expensive is, but you can pick up a bottle of 120 capsules (200mg ea) for $10 on Amazon:
That's 8 cents per capsule. That's pretty cheap, in my book.
https://www.amazon.com/L-Theanine-200mg-Natures-Trove-Vegetarian/dp/B01D1YQBOK
> i just go for green tea which ahs some in
Green tea only has 10 to 20mg per cup. Mostly people don't see real calming effects until ~100mg.
This is what I take
L-Theanine 200mg by Nature's Trove - 120 Vegetarian Capsules https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01D1YQBOK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_gl_i_7VVG4RHMP94RQ8G2BTC1
Guys, no one seems to be bringing up the one well-research compromise that those with anxiety spikes from caffeine seem to benefit from. L-theanine.
L-theanine "By itself, l-theanine is an effective nootropic. But when combined with caffeine, there's a pronounced synergistic effect. This means you experience heightened focus, awareness, and energy, as well as reduced stress and improved mental endurance to even higher levels."
I take this stuff religiously, take 200mg/100mg of caffeine and you will see a HUGE improvement.
I work in a cubicle at an office. I'm diagnosed with high anxiety, agoraphobia, and ADHD. Caffeine is one of the only things to keep me remotely focused (combined with music listening). L-Theanine got rid of the jitters completely and caffeine consumption just feels like an energy regain throughout the day with a sense of calm. There's a reason you find this stuff in the ingredients list of a lot of energy drinks, otherwise people would feel so awful on them.
Save yourself so much heartache and stress. Invest in L-theanine and just take it eveytime you ingest 100mg of caffeine (max of 400mg of L-theanine a day is my recommendation, dont want to go overboard). You will literally see a night/day difference. My recommendation is on Amazon and cheap: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01D1YQBOK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
That is all, thank you.
Natures Trove L-Theanine 200mg like 10$ or so on Amazon. ( the bottle says once a day but i did once in the morning and once 12 hours later. In a few days the clarity will connect and now i just take once a day.
Niacin B3 (search with the keywords Dr Max Gerson AA or Alcoholics Anonymous for crazy info) its natural so no money to be made so you wont hear about it. Max Gerson is also good if you know people with cancer. He cured it and the US knows it but there is no money so they set up shop in TJ and other places, maybe Canada. I dont remember. Seed....... Movie. The Food Cure on youtube. It will save many lives but its pricey for most people. The movie will blow your mind.
Natures Best or any that say its NOT slow release and NON flush. 3g to 6g is peace at night. slows the mind down. It stops anxiety attacks like the bio tuner does in minutes.
Bio Tuner vid here. Its boring for most but if you are looking for relief from addiction its worth a listen.

apes together CALM
I can’t even imagine having an eating disorder compounding the hunger suppression from Vyvanse, that must be really difficult. Good thing you’re drinking lots of water though, that was something I struggled to do when I started taking my meds.
As for the L-Theanine, I’ll link this page that gives an overview of its effects. I will also link the capsules I bought from Amazon here. It’s only $10 for 120 capsules so the expense is pretty easy to maintain. I take mine once with my Vyvanse in the morning, and up to twice more throughout the day, depending on how I’m feeling. I’ve found the magnesium to help a lot as well, especially with jaw clenching, lack of appetite and crashing later at night.
Like I said, this is what works for me but I can only speak for myself. Hopefully though, it can relieve these problems for you too. I’m happy to help as much as you need!
Nope, here's the one I have: https://www.amazon.com/L-Theanine-200mg-Natures-Trove-Vegetarian/dp/B01D1YQBOK?th=1
This is what I take. Some people will recommend Suntheanine but I find this works just fine for me.
im comparing vegetarian vs more expensive version
why is the vegetarian one way cheaper. and will that be good enough??
(sorry in advance for what is probably going to be a really long comment)
My heart really truly goes out to you, I know the feeling of debilitating health anxiety all too well.
I know everyone works differently, but I wanna share the things that helped me the most. I thought it was totally hopeless, but it's not, I promise!
So first and probably the most major-
L-theanine supplements!!!! It eases day-to-day anxiety like nothing else can!! It's the stuff in green tea that makes the caffeine not so jittery, and it's harmless so I'm never worried I'm damaging my body in any way (like with benzos or NSAIDs or literally anything) and it's inexpensive.
These are the ones I buy:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01D1YQBOK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_imm_t1_dcYWFb48H5DAC
Other things I did to ease the constant anxiety, trick my brain, or calm myself out of a panic attack:
I'd literally get up in the middle of the night, walk outside, and SPRINT for as long as I could handle it. Then I'd walk back nice and slow. The cool air from the nighttime helped a ton (wouldn't recommend it during the day unless it's cold out), but it also forced my brain to focus on something more immediate and physical. And I could convince myself that little bit of exercise made my body healthy, even if it was just a tiny bit.
Splashing ice cold water on your face has pretty much the same effect as the sprint, aside from the healthiness thing (although sometimes I'd reason that it was good for blood circulation or whatever)
Eventually I did go see a doctor. It didn't immediately help, and I wouldn't totally recommend it until you've found other ways to wane the anxiety because I got caught in crazy thought-loops like "what if they missed something? what if they're lying?" Etc.. it only began to help when I could reassure myself that the doctors weren't working against me lol.
Lastly, sometimes when I was mid-panic attack my boyfriend would give me a very small bit of valium and drive us to the emergency room parking lot. He'd say something along the lines of we can stay there as long as we want, but I could only go in if something seriously began to go wrong. Reasonable enough, and it always worked like a charm. You can ask a partner or a friend or family or do it by yourself even. If you feel comfortable and can get ahold of some, it might be worth it to keep a valium or xanax on hand as well. (But really, only take off tiny bits at a time and only as a last resort. It won't harm you to take the entire thing, and you can't overdose and die on even 30+ them, but they are known to be extremely addictive and it's easy to become reliant on them)
If I think of anything else major I'll add it, but hopefully trying some of these helps you out. Health anxiety is so much worse than people realize, I really thought I'd never get better and almost considered taking my life eventually because I just couldn't live that way. You will be okay, you can live a life without health anxiety, you are worth the effort it might take 💕
I take this one in case it’s helpful https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01D1YQBOK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_aGLhFbEMRS4RE
