I picked up a Laing:
Laing 6050E7000 E10-BCANCT1W-23 AutoCirc E10 Series Circulator with Timer, Cord and Fixed Thermostat https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00C17LI8S/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_NQSZMRCC3GRDSGWSRNFG
It’s pricey, but it takes us 2-3 mins to get hot water on the 3rd flood. I used a Samsung SmartThings motion sensor and a Samsung Z-wave smart plug. This links up to my existing home automations. Whenever we walk into the bathroom or turn on the lights in the master bath, the water pump kicks on. The pump will turn off when the water hits 90 degrees. The plug will turn off after 5 mins of no movement or when the lights are turned off in the bedroom, whichever comes first. FYI, you do need a power outlet underneath the sink.
I’m in the process of setting up another pump in our other room because of a similar issue. For that one I ordered an AquaMotion One AMH3KRN. A little cheaper but same idea.
