one more thing before I go, you can buy replacement pads from focal if you contact them and wait and I suggest you do this because the Elegia is technically discontinued even though they keep saying that and have been selling them for over a year still... I do suggest you do that as soon as you have the cash to hoard them incase they stop one day... BUT YOU CANNOT REPLACE THE HEADBAND FABRIC... or rather the cost is outrageous so the first thing you do before you wear them is order a headband cover, look at for sale focals on ebay and they all have shitty headband fabric.... it just looks groce, and when yours gets like that you will want to sell so cover it up and never use it and when it's time to sell it will be like new but you probably never will but will still thank me for covering it up, it's just nice to know it's in good condition and while it may defeat the purpose by never using it it's 100x better than letting it get mucky and looking at your groce headband fabric every time you put the thing on

the headband cover I use that fits
I use this one (the largest size) for my Clears and it fits really nicely.
For a premium one you might want to consider the ZMF Pilot Pad. I'm not sure if it will fit but if you email them I'm sure they'll know.
I'll have to try my Clears on tubes. I know OTL tubes often don't play nicely with low impedance headphones (mainly planars) but I've heard the Clears do well on tubes and DMS recently mentioned they sound great on tubes.
Make sure to get a headband cover like covertash said. The earpads and headband are a suede or suede-like material and it attracts grease and grime easier than most it seems. I use this headband cover (largest size) but also own the Geekria one and both work well depending on which style you prefer. I tried 5+ different headbands and those are the 2 I've kept.
I put this headband cover on almost everything. Usually I go for the 2-1/2" version. I've bought some of the narrower ones on Aliexpress a fraction of the price and much longer delivery times. Unfortunately I've only found the widest version on Amazon.
Highly recommend this headband over the Geekria one. I own both of them and tried 2 or 3 others and this is the best one I've used so far. I'm not sure how your Geekria one is since the seem to have a lot of size variance (bad tolerances) but mine is pretty loose and the button snaps feel really cheap like it's just a matter of time before they rip off. The downside is I don't know if the zipper one will wash and dry as easily.
Just make sure it's the "Max for 2-1/2" one since the smaller one I tried wouldn't fit.
I recommend this headband and I also have the one OP posted. The Geekria grey one feels nice but it's too large and the snaps feel super cheap like they're going to break if I remove it for washing. Downside to the zipper one I linked is the zipper on mine doesn't "seal" properly on the end so it can be separated if you tug on the zipper. Not a big issue since it's never fully separated but I plan to exchange for one that hopefully doesn't have that issue.
Great headphones but get a headband cover, these are generally the most popular:

Those pads attract grime like a magnet so keep that in mind.
I liked https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B0814D2NG7/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 for my Clears.
Also used the Geekria woven wool looking one, but it's a little big and you have to kinda fold it back onto itself to fit better.
Headband cover is here, largest size: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0814D2NG7/
And actually this is the Clear MG Pro, I did not do any mods or anything. Stock pads for this model are red. It is just another variant of the MG that Focal makes. https://www.focal.com/us/monitoring-speakers/professional-headphones/clear-mg-professional
It is a nice fit, and comfortable too. Got it from here, largest size 2-1/2" https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0814D2NG7/
Hey, I got it from here, TXesign brand: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0814D2NG7/
It's the largest size one, "Max for 2-1/2"W cushion pad". It's really nice and comfortable.
Looks really nice.
I use one of these headband covers. I tried a handful of them and this was the best fitting and comfiest of the ones I tried.
Get this one. I use it for my Clear MG. Plenty of room.

Edition xs is slightly under your budget right now on amazon and does well in every category without shining in any particular area making it very versatile. It really does punch above its price point, only if it fits you well of course. I use this withmine:https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B0814D2NG7/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_image_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1 , however I was lucky and found these to be the most comfortable headphones that I have worn, and this improved them slightly.
Only problem is you'll need an amp/dac. The tooping dx3pro and fiio k5 pro are both very good.
Large Sized Replacement Headband... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0814D2NG7?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Here ya go! It works really well. Make sure to get the largest size.
Large Sized Headband Cover Universal Head Band Protector with Zipper, Headband Cover Cushion Protector Pad for Headphones (Max for 2-1/2''W Cushion pad, Black) https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B0814D2NG7/ref=cm_sw_r_awdo_V7VJ2F53ATQA0ST61TSC
I highly recommend these as a headband. I have the same Geekria one as well. It's subjective and you can always return them if they aren't for you.
Awesome skull stand.
I've had good luck with these:
This is the one I use but a lot of people use this one. I have both and found the fit on the 2nd one very hit and miss and the button snaps feel like they'll break off with ease.
Here’s what I use for my Clear Mg
Stinks because the headband is so wide
Happen to have a link?
It looks like these but wanted confirmation: https://www.amazon.com.au/Headband-Universal-Protector-Cushion-Headphones/dp/B0814D2NG7
I've been pleasantly surprised by these as well. Was getting them expecting to return, and I'm definitely keeping them. They absolutely destroy my old DT770's, and have more punch than just about any headphone I've ever used. I honestly have no idea what people mean when they say these are bass-light, it's like having a subwoofer in my head. Maybe they don't get a good seal? Or bad QC?
You may want to try the EQ settings from resolve reviews, they are my favorite so far (I decreased the low shelf filter to 2, bass was too powerful).
I've got a pair of the Denkoni sheepskin (non-fenestrated) on order, that seems to be the consensus best pair of replacement pads.
Also considering getting this headband cover, someone on the head-fi forum recommended it.
