I got a very small heater for Christmas just so I can heat up my hands during the winter, as I am in a cold basement. I see all these warning labels telling me not to plug a space heater into a power strip/extension cord, so I've been doing a lot of research. It seems like this warning is because most space heaters use a ton of wattage (like 1500W+), but the one I got only uses up to 200W. It's this one for reference.
Would it be ok to plug it into my power strip? I currently don't have space on the main outlet for it, since both local outlets have a power strip in them. I'm thinking it should be fine since I have my computer plugged into it, and that consumes 500W regularly just fine.
You want it between 75°f and 80°f. I don't know if it colonises at the temps You got, but if does it's probably super slow. There's a mini space heater on Amazon that only uses 200W. You can also get a plug thermometer to shut it off when it's at a set temp. BRB will post links.
This happens for me when the air temperature in my printing room goes below ~22C.
I thought I was going to need a heated enclosure, but I ended up putting a small heater in the room, and it raised the temperature by a couple of degrees and fixed the issue for me.
I hear printing a brim can also help, but I've never tried it.
I use a small ceramic heater
