These are what I used, but there’s plenty of options just like these out there.
I bought some quick fist mounts for 12 bucks on Amazon, and drilled through them with these for 15$ to mount to the rail
here is my set up
I used t nuts on Amazon. Quick fists and a tool rack I got at Lowe’s and cut/drilled to fit around my canopy clamps. Was about 30 dollars or so all said and done

So I love Jerry cans, and always try to mount them on my vehicles because spare gas is dope. I didn't want to drill into the bed mainly because it's the composite bed and I don't know how to plug holes in it. And Google kinda fell flat with drilless Jerry can mounting.
So, I just created some very simple and strong brackets myself. I bought the 3rd Tacoma bed rail ($30 from the dealer), a Jerry can and Jerry can cage from Wavian USA, and some 1/8" thick steel flat bar from home Depot, some nuts and bolts, and the T mounting brackets on Amazon.
The process was super easy and it was my first time working with metal like that, but I'm pretty sure the pictures show what I did well enough that I wouldn't have to explain anything.
Of course I'll paint them tonight to avoid rust, but I just wanted to put what I did on the internet since most people are mounting rotopax and/or just strapping down gas cans in their trucks. Wavian Jerry cans are ridiculously well built (this can and cage is 5 years old, kept outside in the elements) and more importantly, I can lock the cage so nobody can easily take it, nor can they open the gas can without the key.
