I would recommend buying online but it looks like they recently sold out. Here’s the link in case you feel like watching for it to come back… unless you decide a trip to ~~Bland~~ Cracker Barrel is worth it
Oreos are actually a knock-off of another sandwich cookie called [Hydrox(https://www.amazon.com/Hydrox-Americas-Original-Cookie-Ounce/dp/B0141BS1PY) that came out a few years later. They were just more successful because their name didn't make them sound like some kind of cleaning product.
Anyway, I tried Hydrox a few months ago and found it to be a bit higher quality than Oreos. It's just not as practical for me to buy since it's not sold in stores anywhere in Texas. I can only get them by ordering a pack of six boxes on Amazon. That's a lot of junk food to have around the house for one person. With Oreo, I can just walk a few minutes to the closest convenience store and buy the occasional little pack of six cookies.
I bought some today at Kroger!
Here's where you can get them:
Wegman’s (East Coast)
Topps (East Coast)
Dierberg’s (St. Louis area)
Schnuck’s (St. Louis area)
Kroger and Kroger-Owned Stores (List by State)
They are back in stock on Amazon
Leaf Hydrox America's Original Cookie, 8.6 Ounce (Pack of 6) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0141BS1PY/
seems like they have a supply chain problem or something.
You can find them on Amazon.com if you're in the U.S.
Art of the Deal
Leaf Hydrox cookies
I've already main-lined the first pack in the first day.
Pooh. Now I have to find another vein.
I'm currently mainlining the first package of a box of six.
One can buy Hydrox Cookies from Amazon cheaper than I've ever seen them in stores.
Didn't know about these. They look glorious.
