I prefer the Leatherman Squirt. I think the pliers and file will be more useful than the corkscrew and mini-saw. The scissors also work surprisingly well and have been very useful.
I have the Gerber Splice - the thing isn't completely awful, but I found it extremely hard to pry the handle tools out with my fingernails and get the deployed. The pliers were serviceable, but were not smooth to deploy or use as well. I'd look for a Leatherman Squirt with scissors - those are actually worth the money. For what you spend, the Splice is bad, especially compared to a Leatherman that costs about $8 more.
I've recently gotten a Leatherman Blast and until then my EDC multitool was a Leatherman Squirt PS4. It has everything you said you needed in a multitool. Link: Leatherman PS4
Edit: Grammar Nazism
I bought my wife a leatherman squirt years ago, and it's a fantastic keychain knife. She loves to tinker and fix things, so it's great for small jobs and basic utility cutting.
Looks like the Blue one is ~25

>n a lightheart, AGG, or helium). Have also thought about downsizing my knife to a swiss army knife or similar.
Personally like having pliers for gear repair, tweezers, grill and pot holder etc. This allowed me to ditch a few single-use things https://www.amazon.com/Leatherman-Squirt-PS4-Multitool-Black/dp/B0032Y2OT6/
Weighs in at 55g and is actually big enough to use.
Get a Leatherman Squirt PS4. I've had just about every keychain multitool on the market and the Squirt and the Victorinox Minichamp are the greatest.
It's always nice to see people do things like this.

Do you think a Leatherman Squirt would be too stupid? Cheaper?
It-s a Leatherman squirt PS4 it-s awesome!
Fair enough, valid reasoning all around. If you want to avoid carrying a 'knife' per se while still keeping things lightweight, the Leatherman Squirt is honestly all I 'need' for my day to day stuff. There are other similarly small multitools that are low impact but offer some pretty handy tools. Similarly, this $10 Sanrenmu (Chinese company that produces high quality pieces for the pricepoint) folder weighs under an ounce and a half and has great ergonomics for light use.
You know, just in case you wanted to join the club cough /r/knifeclub

Another vote for the Squirt
Just so you know (if you didn't already), you can find better pricing on Amazon.
Leatherman Squirt $22-23 dollars.
Gerber Dime $15.88 with Free Shipping.
Heck, buy two Leatherman squirts, get the free shipping from Amazon and keep one for yourself!
Leatherman Squirt PS4 a little more than 20 bucks ,but its worth it.
Squirt PS4 paired with a Victorinox Trekker puts a pretty solid set of tools in your pocket.
I used to carry a bottle opener on my keychain, but it eventually got replaced with Leatherman Squirt. It's bit trickier to open the bottle, because the opener is quite small, but in exchange I get an awesome pocket tool.
Or, for the lightest keychain, learn to open the bottle with any hard object like a BIC lighter.
The Leatherman Squirt PS4 is the best key chain sized multi-tool I've ever come across.
I always keep a Leatherman Squirt PS4 in my pocket and have another standing by as a backup. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0032Y2OT6
I second the "Don't use for self defense" sentiment. Only pull a knife if A) you know how to use it and B) you are fully prepared to take responsibility for killing someone. As always walk/run away if possible and if not getting beat up or beating someone up in a fist fight that both parties walk away from, isn't the worst thing in the world. If you want a nice functional blade with other tools check out a small leatherman. I've fixed my car, opened beer bottles, done countless small tasks and just messed around making paper clip sculptures with mine. Take a look at the squirt Ps4 mine is awesome the blade stays sharp forever and the pliers are great.
