This sub finally convinced buying some new stuff:
Super cheap Amazon lights:
The adhesive is really crappy though so I cut down some double sided tape to keep the strip in place.
This is the kit that I used! My GF got it for me for Christmas, and I decided to use it on the desk instead of the back of my monitor.
LED Kit on Amazon
For the wallpaper on the left google “Fire Watch Wallpapers”
As for my lights click the link below. One on each monitor and then one behind the desk.
I have these from Amazon and they work great. I do have to point the remote sorta at the side of the TV to change the colors, but that's just because I didn't want the sensor sticking out. Its not a big deal since I don't change colors much though.
This is what you want [link]
PANGTON VILLA Led Strip Lights 6.56ft for 40-60in TV USB Backlight Kit with Remote-16 Color 5050 Bias HDTV [link]
Walmart or Amazon and they are pretty cheap. I love them
Also forgot to say your LEDs look great! Adding some to the back of the monitor would add to the lighting as well! There's this one of Amazon that shuts on and off with the computer. I have it on my monitor and tv :)
I got this one. I like it because it’s modular. I can keep adding or removing parts of strips, if I need. There’s quite a few of them on Amazon, I’m thinking they all work similarly.
I just did some led strips from.amazon super cheap sets the room mode tho looks really cool. Everyone that has come over loves it. I got two sets of these
I actually bought the LED strips off of the same website that I got the PC from and they installed the lights for me. But I do know, my father bought just a normal LED strip of lights from Amazon, and put them around his monitor and then on the inside wall of the case. (He has a glass panel around his too). He just used a adhesive puddy to attach it to the case, that can be removed very easily with no stains.
I tried to add a link below, I hope it works!

It's an LED bias lighting strip I bought on Amazon. It adds a nice effect when watching in the dark. [link]

These from amazon! I put them behind each one of them and just hit the strobe setting and it looks awesome. Added more flare
I highly recommend these led lights attached to the bottom, connected to a battery pack strapped on ur deck. Me and a friend did this, it looks amazing, works great, is customizable, and best of all costs like 30 dollars, not the 150 for any of the lights on the market rn
I bought these for every cabinet. I am sure there are cheaper alternatives ($13.99) but I have used these in the past in a few recording studio's(on 24/7 and no probs) and have been happy with the results.
Yep! I purchased the LEDs linked below and attached them to the backs of each monitor, as well as the back of the countertop.
^ LED lights I used.
^ Window frost that I used.
Mount the LED strip under the back of the glass after putting the window frost on. Take a large piece of paper or white cardboard and use that as a reflector between the tank and the wall. Works way better than I thought it would. Hope this helps someone looking for this info- not many good videos on youtube for it!
PANGTON VILLA Led Strip Lights... [link]
You're welcome!! I guess they're both strips!! Here's for behind the TV!

Hey, sorry for the late response. These are the lights I use. I usually prefer Hue lights, but these are <$15 on Amazon. I’ve had them for a while now - highly recommend.
Thanks! I’m using Hue strips for behind the desk and led strips from amazon for the TV

Nice setup but you may want more lighting in your room So you should buy led light strip on amazon https://www.amazon.com/dp/B072QWJRBS/ref=twister_B087K39T39?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
or by a Walmart, Five Below, Target and Costco.
Love the set up! if you're looking for more light, I just recently got these lights and put them on the back of my monitor for indirect light, they do white, warm, or RGB if you like that :) they plug into the usb port and turn on and off with the monitor! i have them on my tv too, love them
The LED strip that came with a remote (you can just peel back the sticker on the remote to expose what you would solder wires to the Arduino to 'activate' one of the color buttons) is cheap and on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B072QWJRBS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I have this one and it works great. It has a plain white option which is what i normally use but Blue planet or underwater scenes ill crank the blue on for fun:)
Cheap ones from Amazon
Since a few people are asking, here’s the Amazon link for the lights.
They do change color! It comes with a remote where you can choose what color and brightness. They just stick on the back of the tv and are powered via USB.
Here’s the link:
Now if you wanna get real fancy with it, Philips makes a light kit as well. Stronger light and you can control it with your phone and there’s a TON of customization options too.

hell yeah, you go it. thanks a lot. I found some LED back lighting strips on amazon that are USB powered and have a wireless remote. I've been using them every where. hope its ok to post a link
The light strip behind my TV is from Amazon. The squares are Nanoleaf Canvas, they’re awesome but a little pricey.
These are the lights behind the TV
This is the lamp.
They go so well together and totally set the perfect mood in the room!
Sure, everything I bought is from Amazon so I'll link it all below...
The RGB light strip is pretty basic, has a few different functions and is controlled via remote, I have them behind my TV and bed frame as well. Can all be controlled by the same remote.
The "headset stand" is actually just a dimmable desk lamp that I discovered will also hold my headphones on it lol. I have the RGB strip plugged into the back of this lamp for power and easier wire management.
Clock is an Echo Show 5 which has Alexa built in, use this to turn on and off the main lights in my room via voice.
And lastly the desk pad is a large size from Grey Rhino.
Sorry, I'm still learning what the important info to include is. I'll get there. I bought this strip on Amazon, controller is now non-functional so I wanted to repurpose the strips with an Arduino. I know it's a 5050 strip but I can't find what type of chips they use and I'm new enough to this that I don't know the type by looking at it.
This is a picture I took of the strip.
Variable lengths, I wanted to cut the strip into single chip uses or chain up to maybe 10 LED's max.
Bought this strip on Amazon, controller is now non-functional so I wanted to repurpose the strips with an Arduino. I know it's a 5050 strip but I can't find what type of chips they use and I'm new enough to this that I don't know the type by looking at it. I do have plenty of external power supplies if needed.
Thank you for the help, I know how annoying these questions can be.

I use these, $13, work like a charm
I was very inspired by friends and people here and over at r/battlestations.
I didn't want to spend a ton on a philips hue lightstrip ($80), so I found this alternative on Amazon [link]
It's worked great for me so far! Have to use a remote instead of being able to use my google home to control it but for $65 cheaper that's a no-brainer for me.
Behind my laptop I have one of these: [link]
That's how I got the two-tone look. I like it a lot.
I got them on amazon here: [link]

Why not something like this [link]
You don't need Hue lighting at all it's overpriced. The same can be accomplished with this for $12.99
Heck it even has more colors and is easier to control. You just plug it into one of the USB ports of your TV
