I use some of these around my apartment where I can't hide the wires otherwise, my S7 has no problem riding over them.
they claim it can do 2cm
if not, maybe you can find a wider flatter one

Here's a few

Use these to go up and over doorway without damage to wall
The flat ethernet wires can be laid under rugs etc. in low traffic areas.
If you can't reasonably access the floor, one of these https://www.amazon.com/Legrand-Wiremold-Corduct-Overfloor-Protector/dp/B000BVXVTA/ will protect the wire from damage and protect feet from tripping.
Wiremold is owned by legrand, a reputable electrical component company, so i would trust them over random amazon brands.
These work really nicely for this sort of thing:

As u/batpigworld advises, surround speakers should be far enough away to avoid near-field listening for all listeners. At the same time, the further the speaker is from the listener, the more sound comes from the room via reflections than the speaker. This can compromise the imaging, though that tends to be much less important for multi-channel tracks (but may be more important for object based audio). Wall mounting mounting might work if your room is acoustically well-behaved and you have good DSP.
Your tweeters should be vertically at ear level and the front speakers should be slightly off-axis. You can't go too far wrong following Dolby's advice on placement (noting that the on/off-axis depiction isn't perfectly clear).
For speaker wire runs, mine go from the traditional front stage equipment under a rug over carpet to the seating, then out to the side surrounds under Legrand Wiremold CDI-5 Corduct over carpet. This gives me maximum flexibility for moving with just about no practical or aesthetic downside.
Instead of tape, get a cord cover something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Legrand-Wiremold-Corduct-Overfloor-Protector/dp/B000BVXVTA/ref=sr_1_5?keywords=cord+cover&qid=1558018774&s=gateway&sr=8-5
