Any info about the lenovo ideapad gaming 3? Battery is apparently not the best but seems like it would be alright...
I looked around the best I could find is this https://www.amazon.com/Lenovo-IdeaPad-Display-GeForce-82K200UTUS/dp/B09BDFTX65/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?crid=2G8HL9ABRV9EC&keywords=500+laptop+gpu&qid=1658623165&sprefix=500+laptop+gpu%2Caps%2C209&sr=8-3
I mean it is labelled as a gaming laptop but the idea pad is usually made for work as it looks like a normal laptop while packing a lot of power for its price, it will do video and image editing as well as most stuff you throw at it, only problem is it is around 650 dollars. If u can save up more money and get it it would be a great purchase!
IS a pretty good one found, can u send me the link so I can compare the specs. Warzone is a rather demanding game, but like I said, can u think of anything else ud play so i know if I need to leioritize the gpu or cpu
Lenovo IdeaPad 3 Gaming Laptop, 15.6" FHD Display, AMD Ryzen 5 5600H, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650, 8GB RAM, 256GB Storage, Windows 11 Home https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09BDFTX65/ref=cm_sw_r_awdo_EJ6N37CMXVN7P6T481N0
This is a great choice. You can also add an additional 8gb of ram for around 30$ now or in the future. But it's 66$ more than his current budget so maybe you can help him a little more.
This Lenovo Ideapad 3 Gaming laptop for $680 looks pretty good.

No confíes en Ali express jaja, son puras cosas chinas, y si el producto llega a México correos de México se chinga los paquetes jajaja
Budget is a little hard to square with gaming. Things have to give at this point. Suggestion: https://www.amazon.com/Lenovo-IdeaPad-Display-GeForce-82K200UTUS/dp/B09BDFTX65 - drawbacks mainly 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD. Middling graphics card, will run modern AAA games at low/medium settings, does beat the integrated GPU of other options, though.
You need a 3050 for school? If you want to game a little spend 699 and get a 1650. Great for the price, less “I play games loud”.

I bought this laptop recently to play RPCS3 on. It only comes with 8 gig of RAM so I bought another 8 gig RAM stick for like $30 bucks and just added it (there's an extra RAM slot).
Can't confirm flight sim, but it does run NCAA 14 well. I run it at 1080p and get between 30-40 fps during games with no audio issues.
Something like this ideapad 3 should be adequate for the job however can i just ask if you are looking for a laptop or a desktop? Because he seems to already have a chromebook for school
739$ right now on Amazon

Is this one better than this (gaming - studying) ? The price is better tho

Best usable gaming laptop would be the IdeaPad Gaming at 700$ on Amazon
Thats slightly more than a netbook. Something like this would work. Only 8GB of memory its one stick which means single channel so an easy upgrade would be to add another 8gb stick(there is an empty slot)https://www.amazon.com/TEAMGROUP-T-Force-Zeus-3200MHz-PC4-25600/dp/B091ND8KJT/ref=sr_1_5?crid=2UCXM6UIIDTKA&keywords=sodimm%2Bddr4%2B3200%2B8gb&qid=1657767096&sprefix=sodimm%2Bddr4%2B3200%2B8gb%2Caps%2C128&sr=8-5&th=1
here is a very good deal found on amazon, ryzen 5 and nvidia gtx 1650 at 650$, it is on sale
https://www.amazon.com/Lenovo-IdeaPad-Display-GeForce-82K200UTUS/dp/B09BDFTX65
I use the Lenovo Ideapad Gaming 3 and I got for 650€ on sale (which is I believe is about the regular price now.) Here is one with a slightly different but comparative configuration: https://www.amazon.com/Lenovo-IdeaPad-Display-GeForce-82K200UTUS/dp/B09BDFTX65/ref=psdc_13896615011_t1_B08YKHGKTV?th=1.
So far I only tried a couple of games but they all run very smoothly. The machine is great value and doesn't look too much like a gaming PC. It comes with a single RAM stick and a slot of an additional SATA drive making it easy and cheap to upgrade.
You can buy a laptop like this (new ones on amazon) or ebay (like this)
Or you can take a look at used laptop, like this one
I would take a look at the Acer Nitro
It has everything you are asking for minus the 1TB hard drive, you will be hard pressed to find a hard drive instead of an SSD in a laptop these days. I would recommend instead saving up for a 1TB SSD and upgrading later.
You can sometimes find an older model for less under $700 but expect to pay about $700-900 MSRP, depending where you buy.
Another option is Lenovo's budget line of gaming laptops specifically this IdeaPad.
Both are good, but the Acer has a faster display, so it'll look smoother. The Lenovo may have better battery life thanks to the mobile Ryzen chip, AMD is a lot more efficient these days.
1:Lenovo IdeaPad 3 gaming laptop(740$)
This one will run it perfectly, there would be no lags and it may just be what u want. But again don't just buy it yet first check it's reviews on YouTube first there may be some cons that i may not be aware of. https://www.amazon.com/Lenovo-IdeaPad-Display-GeForce-82K200UTUS/dp/B09BDFTX65/ref=sr_1_5?crid=1UA48WJ2R4DG9&keywords=gaming+laptop&qid=1641156044&s=pc&sprefix=Gaming+%2Ccomputers%2C330&sr=1-5
2:Acer nitro 5(820$)
This one is a little bit more expensive but this will just run any game you may want perfectly so this can also be your choice
3:Hp 17 inch laptop(580$ currently in sale, without the sale it's 640$)
This one is the cheapest one you will find that can run the game just ok, there may be some lags so this is not the best one to go with, and this one is 17 inch so pretty much this is humongous, hard to take around
4:Hp Pavilion gaming(currently with sale 774$)
This one is pretty much the same as the Lenovo IdeaPad 3, the only difference would be the company they are using for processors, this one uses Intel while the other one uses Amd, those are different companies and the processors don't have much difference.
5: Lenovo IdeaPad 5(711$)
This one is a very excellent laptop for it's price, but the con is that the GPU Is not that good enough, it is the same as the hp 17 inch, so it will lag but this one has 1000 more advantages then the hp one, but this one is also very small in compared to hp so that can be a good and a bad thing, depends on how you want it, so yes this will be small
6:Lenovo IdeaPad 3 gaming laptop(950$)
This one is the most expensive out of all of them, this one has a week gpu so it won't run every single game perfectly but it will run like 90% of the game. 50 fps+ , but this one has the most ram out of all of them, the other one with the best gpu has lower ram then this which may affect a little so i would recommend this one,
But still review everyone of them on YouTube, also the type of laptop you are looking for is with these specs,
Ram:8gb or above
Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 and beyond or Intel's i5 or above, i7 would be what you be looking for tho,
GPU:Gtx 1060 , which just hits the specs needed to run the game but can't run very high demanding games, gtx 1650 would be the one you are looking for, gtx 3050, would run basically anything
This may sound confusing but u have to type these and it will show your he laptop with those specs.
