This is a nice laptop has a 3050ti ryzen 7 5th gen and it’s legion 5 which was one of the best in 2020
Might be hard to find an Intel cpu with good gpu at that price - i've only looked a little, but mostly see intels with integrated gpus around there. AMD is usually more cost effective, Ryzen pc may be better at that price: like this
I found a legion 5 on Amazon with a 3050ti for about 1100. I think the extra 100 is worth it. 3050 will not last long with newer games 5 years down the road (no laptop will tbh). 3050ti or 3060 will be the sweet spot for you thou. Hey. I'm pinoy too. Check this link from Amazon.

You missed it's sale. The deal was $1,049.99 before and now it's $1,189.99. Upon research, 3050ti is not really that good. I've watched and they say even the 1650ti or 1660ti beats it in some aspects (Watch Jarrod's 1650ti and 3050ti comparison). Been waiting for at least a 2060 version but i don't know when they'll come out again since i think they're out of stock already.
I use Buyandship (BNS) to purchase from Amazon.

Lenovo vantage will help you with most of the checking.I recon this for the battery if nothing else. That being said you can use all the other tests as well.
You can use hwinfo to check temps and run a synthetic benchmark to test how the laptop works under load.
Fyi you can also run something like cinebench 15 (assuming it also has performance modes like my legion 5 2021) each mode should show you a significant increase in the scores.
If it has a SSD and it's Kingston they have a ssd manager which will tell you the info you need to know. (DO NOT FUCK AROUND WITH THE SETTINGS MATES CZ IT CAN REALLY BRICK YOUR SSD CZ IT'S A KINGSTON FIRMWARE UPDATER/MANAGER). It'll show the wear levels, check that and uninstall it just to be on the safe side.
If it has a HDD crystaldiskinfo would be your best option to check the hdd. This should work on ssds as well.
As for the ram memtest64 will do.
Hopefully these will be enough,if not lemme know. :)
Personally i wouldn't recommend waht you're about to do, specially given that the legion 5 on amazon is like $1050 and amazon ship for most places now. And most if the countries are eligible for warranty stuff as well.
hell no, stay away from that.
how much money do you have to spend on a laptop?
this would be my person pick for a budget machine:
it's 1k and it'll run Endwalker great at 1080p. it has a fantastic CPU, and decent GPU, and the Legion 5 is an amazon product. it's one of the best laptop series available.
if you have a few hundred dollars more to splurge (and don't have a desktop), i would suggest getting the 3060 version.
Especially if you want a webcam on your gaming laptop. +recommend legion 5 as well. Ryzen 5 5800H Rtx 3050ti pushes warzone 100-120FPS

Lenovo Legion 5 is a little over budget, but this 16GB of RAM will really be beneficial over the 8GB version. This has a good processor and an NVME SSD, both of which will immensely help your experience in the editor.

thank you! looks good. although when i scrolled down I saw this laptop for a very similar price. the specs look the same but it has a 165Hz screen. would this be a good buy as well?
I got the Lego Batman games for free a while back on the Epic Games Store and am just now installing them because I got a PC recently. I'm new to PC Gaming as a whole (been a console gamer for most of my life, so this is all a bit new and confusing at times), so I am wondering if someone here can help me figure out how to launch it. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling it, checking the drivers (still not completely sure what those are tbh.), and changing the compatibility modes. I also tried changing the resolution on the game in the Epic Games store. Nothing has worked. If it at all helps to figure out the issue, here is what I am running.
It's a Lenovo Legion 5 with a AMD Ryzen 7 5800H Processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050Ti.
It can run newer games like Rocket League just fine, so I'm a bit confused as to why it can't run a 13 year old game. Anyone else having a similar issue or suggestions on how to fix it?

One of the best laptops out there right now is the lenovo legion 5 lineup there's a lot of variants you can choose from, but for your budget i'd suggest the legion 5 Ryzen 7 5800h, Rtx 3050ti, 16gb ram, 512gb ssd, 15.6inch 165hz 100%srgb. (1050$). I'll provide a link below if you wanna check it out. Lenovo legion 5
I think I'm going to buy thisLegion 5 tonight. I'm going to use it for work (light video editing, photoshop, multitasking), music production/ DJing, and some light video gaming.
I'm planning on getting a Sandisc extreme 1 TB usb ssd for extra space, but that looks like it will add $130 to the price. I've used a different Legion laptop before for work and I liked the build quality. Thanks!!

When you click on the link it'll show you slightly more expensive but once you enter a US adress it'll become cheaper. Trust me this is as good as it gets at this price. It has so many plus points. If u find a better one pls link it to me also tell me which one you decided to get in the end.

I would go with something with a 1650ti in it. Pair It with a proper ryzen CPU and you're set for all your needs
This might be overkill but it's the lower end of your budget, so i'll Just put It here in case It might be a convincing fit
I would suggest the Lenovo Legion 5... it has a 15.6" Full HD IPS Display with a 165Hz refresh rate, 300 nits and 100% sRGB. It is powered by the AMD Ryzen 7 5800H processor and is paired with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050Ti GPU at 95W. It has 16GN DDR4 Memory which is upgradeable and a 512GB SSD which is also upgradeable. This laptop should've been the one I suggested in the first place...lol the legions and ideapads are amazing
It's almost impossible now as GPUs are insanely hard to get.
I recommend something like this but it's slightly out of your budget. https://www.amazon.com/Lenovo-Display-Processor-GeForce-82JW0012US/dp/B08YKG5K7F/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?crid=1HPL254R7V7PV&dchild=1&keywords=ideapad+gaming+3+5800h&qid=1633585575&sprefix=ideapad+gaming+3+5800&sr=8-4

In fact, of I was in charge of our household finances, I probably would have already purchased it. Price was down to $981.19 just a few hours ago.
I recommend for you to go with the 15" Lenovo Legion 5
It has a 165hz 1080p display, RTX 3050Ti, Rysen 7 5800H but only 16GB of ram, 512GB of SSD storage, and good built quality.
It's really hard to go wrong with the Legion series these days as plenty of people like the laptop.
And I'm sure it will run the games you listed medium or high settings with no problems.

Thank you! Yes, I meant the 82JW0012US. The Lenovo rep said that one of the 8gb stick is soldered though. Maybe that's why it's so cheap.
i recomend this, newer processor and more ram, better graphics card but with less vram.

I like my lenovo legion laptop for mobile gaming if a desktop is not possible for your friend. Here is one on the lower price point not sure your friends budget. Only 500GB SSD but you can add a second drive pretty easy. They make their laptops easy to upgrade disk drives and ram. 3050 TI 16GB ram 165Hz monitor
Me van a traer una Notebook de USA!! Cuál es la mejor "bang for the buck"?
Also, is RTX 3050i that bad a card? Amazon international is selling for under 4.2k but I see people not recommending it.
Thanks for the suggestion!
Could you tell me however how exactly it would compare to this Legion 5 15 that I am also considering.
Also, based on my limited knowledge it seems like the MSI's gpu is better but the cpu isn't. Correct me if I'm wrong, but what would that translate to in game/ CAD.
I don’t know your budget but I ordered this one it comes today Lenovo Legion 5 15 Gaming Laptop, 15.6" FHD (1920 x 1080) Display, AMD Ryzen 7 5800H Processor, 16GB DDR4 RAM, 512GB NVMe SSD, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050Ti, Windows 10H, 82JW0012US, Phantom Blue https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08YKG5K7F/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_XE5SHS5Z4C5ZSE97ZMFJ

$1250 from Amazon, including shipping and import duties. I don’t know if you’ll be able to order it with the new banking restrictions, but if the payment goes through then this should be the cheapest and fastest way to ship it in.
I'm far from expert but this is the first I've heard that the screen is bad. I've heard the opposite, though. It probably depends on the GPU. Some run at 120mz, this one has a RTX 3050Ti GPU -> 144hz. That's an Amazon link, $1,049 which as far as I can tell is a great price. If you buy from Amazon you have 30 days to return the laptop at no charge, if you don't like it.
I've had mine for 29 days and have decided to keep it. My only complaint is it's not very loud. I can watch a video in my apartment but at Burger King I can't hear it well enough without earphones. Then again, I went to 5 Ramones concerts and spent the entire time in the mosh pit, so my hearing is about 40% impaired. ;)
Good luck!
This one is the newer generation. It’s barely been released just a few months ago, so it will cost more.
It seems there are many different configurations that go for wildly different prices. This one is like mine, but a less powerful GPU: Lenovo Legion 5 15 Gaming Laptop, 15.6" FHD (1920 x 1080) Display, AMD Ryzen 7 5800H Processor, 16GB DDR4 RAM, 512GB NVMe SSD, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050Ti, Windows 10H, 82JW0012US, Phantom Blue https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08YKG5K7F/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_MYKF5XBRDDN2681ET0E4
I’d keep looking at Amazon for what they have.
M1 is a powerful CPU but its not meant for gaming, macbooks aren't designed for that and there is a pretty good chance of busted keyboard if game on that, For around1000$ the best you can get right now is the Legion 5 with an RTX 3050TI and a 300 nits 165Hz display, but then again for newer AAA titles you need to step up to an RTX 3060/6600M which will cost more
The 2021 Legion 5 on amazon is 1050$ with Ryzen 7 5800H CPU, 16GB ram and an RTX 3050TI along with a 300 nits display with 100% SRGB coverage which is a must for professional photo editing, but if you play bigger titles I'd suggest getting the RTX3060 variant instead, its costs more
If you do colour critical work get a laptop get a laptop with 100% SRGB coverage, the latest Legion 5 with a 300 nits display (mentioned officially by Lenovo in Q/A section) and 100% SRGB coverage is available on amazon for 1050$ even has a dedicated GPU to help with video rendering and light gaming
◽️ Budget: $1000ish max
◽️ Country: USA
◽️ Screen size: 13''-15''
◽️ Touch screen: Don't care
◽️ Screen resolution: 1080p preferred
◽️ Does battery life matter ?: Would prefer longer battery life
◽️ What tasks will laptop be used for ( gaming, video editing, graphic designing, modelling, regular computing tasks, word processing etc) ?: College (Engineering & Programming) and Gaming (Probably League, Destiny 2, Rust)
◽️ Weight: 5-6lbs max
◽️ Any other important details ?: I've been looking at this Legion 5 with an RTX 3050Ti, but I was wondering if there were any better laptops in this price range. I would prefer a gaming laptop with a more minimalistic design like the Legion 5. I've also heard that the 3050Ti's performance is lacking and that 4GBs of VRAM is a bottleneck, but I'm not sure if that would be that big of an issue for my needs.
May I please ask how you think it compares with this one? 15.6" FHD (1920 x 1080) Display, AMD Ryzen 7 5800H Processor, 16GB DDR4 RAM, 512GB NVMe SSD, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050Ti, Windows 10H, Phantom Blue https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08YKG5K7F/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_0EBFPJCDA1F0JH5JJ7HR Is it worth the extra $140? This is an infinitely better deal, with infinitely better cooling, wattages, and infinitely better screen quality
https://www.amazon.com/Lenovo-Display-Processor-GeForce-82JW0012US/dp/B08YKG5K7F/ref=sr\_1\_3?dchild=1&keywords=Legion+5&qid=1625921665&sr=8-3
It’s actually real good! Does exactly what I need it to do, and it also has a 165hz screen. There are USB ports, an HDMI port, and two USB-C plugs. The battery life on quiet mode and idle will last around 5 hours, watching media (Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, etc.) you will get around 4 hours of battery life. Then the games depend on how heavy the game is. A game like minecraft you’ll get 2 1/2 to 3 hours on, whereas with Valorant you can maybe get 2 hours. There’s real unnoticeable screen bleeding, the only thing is the weight of like 5.6lbs but it’s really nothing with a carrying case. It’s quite a steal if I say so myself, all of that for $1050? Oh yeah. You can find the laptop here If you’d like me to message you my pictures I can show it to you! :D
How does this compare with this model
From what I can tell the 5800h is a bit better, and the 3050 ti is a bit worse. Thoughts on which one would be better overall?
Yes, you should immediately replace the liquid metal if you get that laptop. I know a person who owned one who had the liquid metal short out the motherboard.

Also, this laptop has much better value for money and reliability and cooling. All that's missing is the storage and the 300hz display, but it has a 165hz display.
I'm sure this is a stupid question, but what's the difference between the 5i 15 and this 5 15? This one is within my budget but has 16gb. It meets those system requirements as far as I can tell, but can you take a look for me. I really appreciate it!

Swift X is pretty much the go to small laptop for creators and gamers under $1000. Maybe keep an eye out for the Asus G14, there might be some crazy sales on last years 3060 model on Black Friday.
For larger laptops, this Legion 5 is a good option with solid CPU and GPU performance and a great 1080p gaming display. Overall very similar to in specs to the Swift X but bigger and more powerful. https://www.amazon.com/Lenovo-Display-Processor-GeForce-82JW0012US/dp/B08YKG5K7F?th=1
If you want something big but still thin and sleek looking then the IdeaPad Pro 16 is a solid option with a 16" 16:10 2.5K display. This display is really nice for content creation and productivity because of the size and resolution, but its also 120Hz so its pretty good for gaming. I'm linking the 6600HS and RTX 3050 model that was on sale for $800-$900 and might dip again for Black Friday. https://www.reddit.com/r/LaptopDeals/comments/yqn21w/ebay\_price\_drop\_lenovo\_ideapad\_5\_pro\_16\_laptop/
There is also a 6800HS model out there for $1100 that might go on sale as well as the Lenovo Slim 7 which is a very similar machine but with a glossy display also with the 6800HS and $1100 but has been seen under $1000 before and might again for Black Friday sales.
You should also add this Legion 5 to the list. It has a Ryzen 5800H so good performance and battery life (while not using the GPU). Overall it has solid plastic but not premium metal build quality and a really good keyboard. The display is also really good with high refresh rate, good colors, and brightness.

go to amazon and you can get a lenovo legion 5 with double the ssd and ram, better cpu for $1025. Plus rgb on the laptop itself and the legion series is plain better than the ideapad.

The MSI
even a 3050ti legion 5 with 5800h would be a better choice if you have access to the us amazon.
never go tuf, if it have to be asus just find some cheaper rog deals
if how much the dgpu performs matters to you very much here's another option
I like the Legion line, but I feel like the best bang for your buck is going to lie with something like this:
https://www.amazon.com/Lenovo-Display-Processor-GeForce-82JW0012US/dp/B08YKG5K7F
i would much rather suggest you to increase your budget and get [this](https://www.amazon.com/Lenovo-Display-Processor-GeForce-82JW0012US/dp/B08YKG5K7F/ref=sr_1_2?crid=2H1E8QSFJ8ORA&dchild=1&keywords=legion+5&qid=1635618192&sprefix=legion+%2Caps%2C343&sr=8-2) its worth it trust me
I was actually looking closely at this one on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/Lenovo-Display-Processor-GeForce-82JW0012US/dp/B08YKG5K7F/ref=psdc_13896615011_t1_B08BB9RWXD
All of these are considered "gaming laptops," but they are all similar or better spec'd for the $1000 price area. some are a little more, but you may be able to negotiate to $1000.

Depende.
Lenovo Legion 5 15 Gaming Laptop, 15.6" FHD (1920 x 1080) Display, AMD Ryzen 7 5800H Processor, 16GB DDR4 RAM, 512GB NVMe SSD, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050Ti, Windows 10H, 82JW0012US, Phantom Blue https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08YKG5K7F/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_SBGXFHR4ZYH4B1GG27PG?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

$979.99 here at Amazon.
Lenovo Legion 5 | Ryzen 5800H | 15.6" 165hz | 16GB Ram | Rtx 3050 ti 4GB VRAM | 512GB SSD
Both have their own shortcomings but these options are pretty much logical for your use case. You could watch reviews on YouTube for these models and then pick your pick.
https://www.amazon.com/Lenovo-Display-Processor-GeForce-82JW0012US/dp/B08YKG5K7F
This is the one I'm looking at, as a work laptop. Beefy enough that you wont have to worry about long build times or anything, and also has a decent GPU if you desire to run some games on it.
Thank you so much!!
I found this Legion 5 for $1049, but the Lenovo representative is giving contradictory answers on whether you can go above 16gb.
What do you think?
Amazon has 5800H/16GB/512GB/3050Ti for $1050 (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08YKG5K7F/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_QWQ0RZGGPP8XWPJC05RA).

Recently picked up a laptop for my wife to bring out of town with her for playing mmo's and the such. Picked up this,
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08YKG5K7F?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details
She's happy with it but for me the gpu isn't powerful enough. I did test 7d2d on it and it ran though I did not test out hordes and the such. It is a quick and responsive laptop out the box.
From my searching I found most decent gaming laptops started in the $800 USD range.
If I were buying a laptop for myself I'd try for a 2060 or 3060. There were a few 2060 models on sale at the time but I missed the deals. The 3060 systems were considerably more expensive and not worth the extra for my wife to play gw2, ddo and wow on.
As for a price range, I'd suggest $800 - $1,800 usd.
For $1K USD a friend got a Lenovo Legion 5 came with a Ryzen 5800H and RTX 3050Ti. At a look for those.
https://www.amazon.com/Lenovo-Display-Processor-GeForce-82JW0012US/dp/B08YKG5K7F/

$1,300 Lenovo Legion 5 RTX 3060 1TBSSD 17.3" Microcenter Link
I own a Lenovo Legion 5 and I personally love it. The keyboard is really good. The camera is okay but not horrible. You can get around 4-7 hours of battery if you are doing lightwork. What makes Lenovo really good is its GPU power limit and its cooling. You can push the Lenovo to go 60 fps ultra on a certain triple AAA.
I also believe in those models there's a second .m2 slot where you can upgrade the memory over time.
One of the downsides of this computer is its weight. The laptop weighs around 5 pounds and then goes into 6 pounds with the charger.
If you want more info on this laptop or others I highly recommend you check out Jarrods Tech on youtube. He reviews many gaming laptops on his channel and that might help you with buying your laptop.
throw in a little bit of extra cash and grab an rtx 3060 off micro center
if 1200 is a strict budget grab a rtx 2060
amazon also has a Lenovo Legion 5 rtx 3050ti for $1050 it plays warzone just fine on ultra settings
just note the rrx 3050ti only has 4gb vram, as time moves on games will start demanding more vram and a 4gb might not cut it anymore for newer titles
Not the same GPU but what do you think about this version? https://www.amazon.com/Lenovo-Display-Processor-GeForce-82JW0012US/dp/B08YKG5K7F/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=legion+5&qid=1630844881&sr=8-3
How does this compare with the legion 5 with the same specs?
hey would this laptop be able to run cad and revit software smoothly? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08YKG5K7F/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_api_glt_fabc_WDCBHMXPS27H5SDGZB73
Where are you looking ? from here it is 1050.
How does it compare to this legion? Just a swap of processor for graphics card?
i would recommend to go for this, if u dont mind ordering thru amazon.com, https://www.amazon.com/Lenovo-Display-Processor-GeForce-82JW0012US/dp/B08YKG5K7F/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=lenovo+legion+5&qid=1630070683&sr=8-3, it has the specs , ryzen 7 5800h, rtx 3050 ti,16 gb ram, 165 hz 3ms, 60 wh battery tho( which could be upgraded with the rest of the budget), for a price of 1167.86 usd, which is 4289.56 AED
I mean for this kind of budget it is tough, laptops really charge a portability premium and you end up getting way worse specs for the dollar you spent.
I think for that budget you can get something like an AMD Lenovo Legion 5. Make sure you get minimum 16 gb ram (32gb if you can). 6-8 core CPU and a modern GPU is also a must imo, which these models seem to have (5600H/5800H AMD cpu and 3050/3050ti nvidia gpu) But these gpus (even though they are the latest gen) have 4GB memory, so I am not sure how your performance will be.
I got curious myself and ended up finding this on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Lenovo-Display-Processor-GeForce-82JW0012US/dp/B08YKG5K7F/ pretty sure you can build and order one on Lenovo's own website too.
Also if you can get close to 2K, Razer have some really good looking options: https://www.razer.com/gaming-laptops/Razer-Blade-14/RZ09-0370AE23-R3U1
https://www.razer.com/gaming-laptops/Razer-Blade-15/RZ09-0369AE22-R3U1
The advantage of these is bigger vram and better CPU.
I think there are many other brands that produce same kind of laptops, make sure you look out for deals, and make sure you watch reviews of the laptop you decide to buy, I find that habit to be useful. I have not used any of the laptops I mentioned, I just focused on specs, so do your own research :)
I recently owned a dell xps 15 with 1650 gpu and i7 cpu, I was not a fan of its thermal performance. My current laptop is a macbook pro 2019 with i9 and 5500M 4GB, which has ok performance running basic UE4 tasks. I have not done anything crazy on it yet so I cannot be too helpful there.
One alternative path of action for you would be to keep your current laptop for light work and get a workstation where you can do the heavy lifting, and on the go you can do lighter tasks. If you can get a desktop workstation, $1000 can buy a lot more performance than any laptop model we can come up with here.
If you could spend 50$ more get this Legion 5, the specs are way above what you mentioned 16GB ram and 165Hz display or get the Gigabyte G5 if you want to stay at 1000$
I also recently bought a laptop. Reading other posts and some other websites I came down to conclusion that a CPU with high clock speed and the amount of cores is the best investment I can make for datascience learning and building small projects. The GPU is also very important if I want to make some deeplearning projects but the impression I got was if I am diving into a solid deeplearning project I need to use services designed for that anyway. Meanwhile I can benefit a lot from a fast CPU on my day to day R and python related tasks. I went for https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08YKG5K7F?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details.
You can get an RTX3060 for that price, but if for some reason you only need an RTX3050, get the Legion 5 or Acer Swift X both have excellent displays, but the Acer will have a better battery life compared to the Legion as its a non gaming laptop
Yes and no.
Yes because building a pc right now is terrible.
No because pc's and pc gaming is great. Useful for so much more then just gaming.
I'm a long time pc builder and it hurts to say it but you're almost better off just buying a good gaming laptop for now. Hook it up to an external monitor and keyboard and go with it.
Picked my ol'lady up this,
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08YKG5K7F?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details
to bring with her out of town and it's great for mmo's and light gaming. If I were buying myself a gaming laptop then I'd go with at least a 3060. Tested 7d2d on it and it worked well with some settings lowered. Though yeah, at least 3060 if you're more serious about gaming.
I just picked up this bad boy: https://www.amazon.com/Lenovo-Display-Processor-GeForce-82JW0012US/dp/B08YKG5K7F
Since you are happy playing older titles I'd suggest the Legion 5 model sold on amazon, for 1050$ its got a Ryzen 7 8 cover CPU, RTX 3050TI, 16GB ram and a really good 300 nits 165Hz display with 100% SRGB coverage, but if you are planning to play newer titles in the future I'd suggest stepping up to the RTX3060/6600M variant of the Legion 5 or HP Omen 15
Unfortunately it does not, if you prefer the larger screen then yeah you might want to look at gaming laptops. Here's a Legion 5 for $1050 on Amazon that comes with a 5800h, 16gb of ram and a 3050ti https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08YKG5K7F unfortunately it's a bit on the heavier side at 5.3lbs and its battery life ain't the greatest
No, its a 300 nits 165Hz panel with 100% SRGB coverage, the same Legion 5 is also available on amazon with 16GB ram for 1050$
Here's a list of laptops I found on Amazon that should be perfect for you
Think you can get a Lenovo Legion 5 r5 with a 3060 for around that.
Well I got mine from Amazon, so feel free to check it out. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08YKG5K7F/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_47YWGZ2FNC9EFPVCFDVB
This one is a pretty good deal:
https://www.amazon.com/Lenovo-Display-Processor-GeForce-82JW0012US/dp/B08YKG5K7F
It’s a 3050ti actually with a ryzen 7 5800H, you can find the link here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08YKG5K7F/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_6SBVTC9P3HNFBCQBSEYR?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
it has S mode which means you can't download any external apps only microsoft store. You can't even download chrome. you have to stick with Edge. In 1050$ you can get R7 5800H with RTX3050ti (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08YKG5K7F/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_B2CT7MXAYJ0P8F83Q2EP?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1) even if you are not into gaming graphics card help later. don't make a dumb mistake like me and buy the dell thin and light laptop. but if you really want that thin and light https://www.amazon.com/HP-Touchscreen-Laptop-Platform-i7-1165G7/dp/B08M9CCQD3/ref=mp_s_a_1_8?dchild=1&keywords=Hp+i7&qid=1626539929&sr=8-8 touchscreen i7 and evo (Evo means 10 hours of battery life and extra performance) Or just buy a macbook.
Yes it is. Older laptops with older specs are outperforming it easily. Not to mention that the 144hz screen is garbage (ghosting, smears, poor color/brightness, etc).
Buy this instead: https://www.amazon.com/Lenovo-Display-Processor-GeForce-82JW0012US/dp/B08YKG5K7F/
Legion 5 with Ryzen 7 and 3050 Ti. So much better than this shitty laptop. Cheaper as well.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08YKG5K7F/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_glt_i_DH0ZPTDSQFJ0X9Z7VSKD
The other guy said this too but this laptop is just a better looking version of the nitro with a better cpu.
Is this laptop better, or should I buy the TUF Dash?

This particular configuration, probabbly is exclusive to BestBuy, but the overall model is advertised for example here.
I had a live chat with a BestBuy employee, they told me that Lenovo gave them those specs to publish but they have no lead time on when they'll get the stock. Possibly the same on the Amazon link. As for now, it's just a matter of waiting.
In my particular case, I needed a laptop so I ended up buying the 4800H 1660Ti model for $999, and I am buying an SSD to upgrade the storage. TBH the main key features I'm missing are the slightly better performance of the 5800H and the DLSS function of the 3050Ti (standard render is mostly the same).
