The fit actually looks very comfortable while still flattering.

Those Levi's aren't fake, they're just "used" since they've been washed a bazillion times or the equivalent in post-processing, which was done after the originally raw denim was sewn into that pair of jeans.

They'll stretch out a good bit in the waist and hips, referred to as the top block, within a day or two of wear, and become even more comfortable.

You should immediately purchase a pair of Levi 501 Shrink-to-Fit (STF, unsanforized), since they are always raw denim, and are only $36 right now at levi.com or at Amazon. I would think a pair of STF 501s in size 34x34 would be just about the right size for you after shrinkage. But be sure to measure them before you soak/wash them, using the Blue Owl Measuring Guide. And then measure them again after you've soaked/washed them to get a feel for how much unsanforized jeans shrink. And you should definitely soak or wash them before you start wearing them to shrink them down closer to their final size since unsanforized denims shrink a butt-load the first time they hit water.

A great incremental step for you would be Levis 501 + Hoody. Just be careful with the first wash, it will stain anything else that is washed with it, plus it will shrink a size.

There is only one model of Levi's non-selvedge indigo x white 501 Shrink-to-Fit (STF). And the PC9 model number for it is 00501-0000. They are also available at Amazon-US.

I'm confused. You say here that you are a size 30 waist but you said in your OP that size 30 doesn't fit you. So either you are not a size 30 or maybe you are saying that different brands of men's pants fit you different? That has never really been my experience with men's pants. The waist size is usually pretty consistent. If size 30 is too big for you (even after shrinking in the wash, I presume) I would look online because in my experience it's rare for most clothing stores to stock anything below size 30. You must be quite thin. If you don't already you should look into wearing a belt.

But like, are the size charts on Amazon right or are the ones on Tate right? The Left Hand Twill Skinny Guy sizes on Amazon aren't the same as the ones on Tate and Yoko

Sorry just to clarify, when I saw raw denim, I mean denim that’s not predistressed or prefaded - raw denim and predistressed denim are mutually exclusive. I think you’re talking about selvedge denim which is another topic altogether. GAP slim fit seem to be pretty close, with maybe a little more room in the seat, you might try those. Amazon also has quite a few 513s left too.

Well if you can go down a size you should but jeans should always fit your waist. That means they can stay on your waist without a belt even if you jump while not being uncomfortably tight. So, you should get jeans that fit your waist and have a taper. I'd personally recommend Levis 508 in rigid envy. The 508 has a nice taper and a lot of thigh space. Having the rigid envy wash means it'll look similar to the jeans you linked.

Have you seen the lived in skinnies? They look much more like 511s in terms of fit. My lived in slims fit very similarly to alpha slims, which is identical the 513 cut.

I dont know if either I have bad luck or if Amazon failed to double check on what they are sending but I have ordered 3 times from this link and they kept on screwing up with my order. First order I was sent Dirty Fades instead of LHT and then the next two tries, I kept on receiving "Super Skinny Guys" instead of "Skinny Guy".

Also, it might be a typo on the links title where they forgot to included "Super" in it and they have inseam labeled as 35 instead of 37 (the typical inseam for SG)

522 is good, 521 if you can find them. 508 is also good, tons of sizes on amazon right now.

i love my raws but i still prefer these for black denim. order a few sizes and plan on returning because their QC sucks and they always have a bit of variation.

There aren't really any washes that seemed appealing and they're also technically discontinued so not super easy to find in stores.

Those are very dad. But when I think of more fashionable light wash, I think these 511s in blue stone wash(the icon all the way at the bottom right. Real summery and a uniform wash to not look tacky. 10/10, I've been called a dad on MFA for a fit pic with these.
