Y como dicen los demás, lo más seguro es que no haya tierra en los contactos de 3 patas. Si no es viable (por costos) actualizar toda la instalación, puedes poner de éstos GFCI Leviton que básicamente te dan un nivel de protección similar al que da la instalación correcta y moderna (bajo estándares gringos)
