Hi there! mom of twin babies here, I have been through a few humidifiers! Question, do you have your own office, or are you in a cubicle?
Here are a few things: 1. Cool mist humidifiers make your space clammy, and they push out a stream of “vapor”, which for you might work out bc you could point it towards yourself. They can breed bacteria, and the ones I have used all leaked all over my table, so beware. Whatever one you end up using, put it in a shallow bowl so that if it does leak, it doesn’t short circuit your computer. 2. If you get cold in your office, I suggest a warm mist humidifier. 2. If you have more space on your floor in your own office, I suggest the best reviewed humidifier listed below. It doesn’t mist which is nice, it has a UV filter to kill any bacteria (usually have to change out once a season, WELL worth it compared to the cool mist ones that break and you have to clean all the time). It also helps circulate air, and you can put tap water instead of distilled water. The other ones require distilled. (I still put Brita filtered water in mine). You could put in on the floor, next to your office plant or something. It has three settings as wel. I figure if you’re going to really get a humidifier, do it right. I’m also not worried about this one leaking all over everything. This is the one we have in our house, though I’m looking for a warm one too. Hope this helps! Honeywell Humidifier on Amazon
P.S this is not a cute little small thing, it’s BIG, but you can put it on your floor. I would suggest this or something like this one.
Vornado Evap40 4-Gallon Evaporative Humidifier https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00O0WOO74/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_LiF0DbB01D37M
This is the one I’ve been using for the past two years. It’s packed well so I wouldn’t worry about it being broken. It can be loud but it’s super effective.
Big recommendation for this Honeywell. Easy to get your hands in and wipe everything. Very few pieces. Also rec buying some kind of bacteriostatic treatment to help keep it clean.
21% is VERY dry and that level makes your guitar very susceptible to cracking. Do yourself a big favor and buy a good humidifier for your whole house.
It runs for about 6-8 hours at a time! I start it every morning as part of my daily routine and let it run until it’s out of water. It sits right next to the plant so the plant does get some of the mist, but the vapor is so fine, I haven’t noticed water beading up or anything like that.
Here’s a link if you want to check out the exact model I bought. It just needs cleaned every few days. Raydrop Cool Mist Humidifier
if you have time you could cancel your order on the OCS store and just order them off amazon: 4 gram 62%, 8 gram 58%
I’ve been using the Honeywell HCM 350 which has a very easy to clean tank and can run all night. Whoever one you end up choosing, the most important thing to keep in mind with humidifiers is consistent cleaning, at the very least once a week.
Well, I have an enormous console one, because the humidity in my apartment goes to about 33% without a humidifier running. It will happily humidify most of the place to 55% humidity with a fill every 24-36 hours (depending how dry I let it get before I refill it). It holds just shy of 5 gallons, I think, compared to the 1 gallon ultrasonic I used in the bedroom before I got this one, which needed to be filled about every 18 hours for one room. It has a side mounted container for water, so you don't have to shut it off to go fill it, and it holds about two containers worth (one flows down to the bottom with the wick, then you fill it again), so you don't have to haul 5 gallons from the sink to the humidifier.
The wicks are about $12-14 on amazon, depending what the price variation of the day is. It's really easy to install, it's only really noisy when the humidity is way below where it's set to (you can set it anywhere from 35 to 60% if I recall correctly, 50% is best of both worlds for protecting you from flu and mold), and honestly, you can set what the fan speed is at if you don't like auto.
I've been running this almost constantly since Christmas (there was a week that we turned it off 'cause I was trying to dry a bunch of sand), and I've replaced the wick once. I may not have had to replace it if I had emptied it out for that week, but I stupidly left it sitting in the wet chamber, so it got gross.
TL;DR: I apparently have lengthy opinions on humidifiers.
I like this Pure Enrichment humidifier a lot.
Pros: - pretty quiet - compact compared to some, and appropriate size tank for a bedroom overnight - easy to clean: no crannies that you can’t muscle your way to w some ingenuity and some paper towels/ q tips. Though I usually just soak the basin/well and fiddly bits in distilled vinegar once a week. - easy to fill and dump bc the cord detaches from the base of the humidifier
Cons: - there are only 2 humidity settings, so customization is limited - there is a bit of a blue glow from the button that I find irritating. I usually just flip it away from me, but ymmv depending on your light tolerance
You might be able to use that one, but you'll want some way to control the RH (if it doesn't have one built in). The inkbird humidity controller is good for that. I have this and it worked well for me

For dehumidifier, this is probably overkill for most tents, but I was having trouble during the final flower stages keeping my humidity down so I put this one in my tent. Been working out perfectly so far:

Then you want a big boy. https://www.amazon.com/Vornado-Evap40-4-Gallon-Evaporative-Humidifier/dp/B00O0WOO74/ or similar that handles your size and has large tanks so you aren't filling it every other day. https://www.consumerreports.org/cro/humidifiers/buying-guide/index.htm speaks to cool vs. warm type which you should research.
>Real large humidifiers are expensive as fuck.
I also highly recommend getting these boveda packs I mentioned earlier and adding one to every eighth you buy. Weigh it before and after the packs been in for a bit (anywhere from a couple hours to a couple days) and you may be surprised to see how much weight you get back (not to mention flavor and enjoyment): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XB26Q8N?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I had this exact same problem, brother- I was using high ppm tap water in an ultra sonic humidifier. White mineral dust was coating everything and clogging up my carbon filter. You can switch to distilled water, as was mentioned. Or you can switch to an evaporative humidifier like this. This humidifier doesn't make dust. It uses a replaceable wick/filter which traps the minerals.
Mine is the Vicks warm mist humidifier sold on Amazon (I think it's currently the #1 bestseller in humidifiers).
I love it. I've bought two (I needed them for two different places), have had them for three years and love them. Would highly recommend.
The auto shutoff function is great! I also run it while I'm at work, since it just turns itself off once it's out of water. I don't use the Vicks serum/liquid vaporizing feature, but I've heard people say that it's useful during cold season.
Whatever you choose, make sure to buy one with warm/hot steam, not cold mist. The cold mist humidifiers spritze the air above them with cool water. It definitely doesn't truly humidify anything. I've tried several of them with no luck. Also, they tend to over moisten the area right around the humidifier (since most of the "mist"/water spritz falls to the ground) and can subsequently cause mold.
Running a warm most humidifier has he added benefit of cutting down on heat costs -- depending on the setting, it can raise the temperature of your room up to 10F (low setting can prevent this). Also, they don't require filters or any added purchases.
Edit: link and auto shutoff comment
They're hydration packs you can get on Amazon!
You place them in a jar with your weed and it helps them to stay at the perfect moisture level. Prevents a harsh smoke and makes it burn slower.
I get them off Amazon, but they're about $20 for a ten pack. I usually get the 4-gram 62% packs (which can easily humidify up to a half oz).
You can also rehydrate your weed by putting it in a sealed jar with a small wad of wet paper towel for about 20 minutes, but it leaves a weird taste if you use tap water. Might work better if you use distilled water in that scenario.
We run two of these. Buy some 5 gallon jerry cans for water and fill them up at water stations. Take the time to check different water stations. There are ones where you can get 5 gallons for either $1.50, $1.75, or $1.00. You just gotta look.
Just get a humidifier like you would for your house. You don’t need to run it all the time, or at least I don’t. I run it later in the day and throughout the night to simulate their environment as they need it drier during the day and up to 100% at night. Pretty sure you can find em for like $25-30 at Walmart or on amazonthis is the one I use but there’s a bunch of lower priced ones. Just set it next to the gecks tank and you should be just fine. If you don’t wanna buy that, then I’d just mist 2 times a day, once at morning once at night, and again you should be fine if you’re using substrate it should hold humidity pretty well.

I had to look up what Grove packs are. They look pretty fancy and seem to control humidity for you the same way as humidity packs.
This is what I use. They are two way, so they will absorb/give off humidity to keep it at the right amount. Couple humidity packs in Mason jars is all I do. I keep a humidity monitor in one to make sure the humidity doesn't get too high or too low.
Boveda 62% Packets - 2 Way Humidity Control Packs- Size 4-10 Count Resealable Bag - Bulk Humidity Packs - Relative Humidity Packs https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XB26Q8N/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_9QD0EKVPR7546RTEW7R3
I can't say 100% for sure if your bags are the same or if using the humidity packs would make a difference. From my little bit of reading, I don't think the humidity packs would change anything.
The humidity packs are reusable BTW. They are not cheap but since they are two way and obsorb humidity, you can rehydrate them.
>Hydration pack? What's that and please point me in the right direction.
They're two-way humidity control so they add or remove moisture to keep your herb at the perfect humidity. The two brands I usually see are Boveda and Boost. You want to look for 62% RH for cannabis (the other RHs work better for things like tobacco, etc.). Here's an example on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XB26Q8N?ref\_=cm\_sw\_r\_cp\_ud\_dp\_ABNHAP557KKFG3BKBF2W
It has automatic settings and the whole top opens, it can also sync to your phone.
I currently have this humidifier which lasts roughly 50 hrs w/o needing a change. I also think the suggesting of switching the sides would be helpful. Are mush spores really that bad to inhale? I watched a tutorial from Northspore of how to set up a Martha tent and so I put a filter on the top fan for the spores to not circulate in the air.

Buy a decent humidifier. Preferably a smart one. A smart one lets you set it and it turns off and on automatically. So that you don’t have it too humid and not humid enough. Built in monitor and controller

yep just talked about it in other comment. it will need to be something like this . something that when it's flipped on, as soon as you plug it into the wall (aka when the inkbird feeds it power) it would start running, and not just power on and go by their sensor/smarts
This the one I use and it works perfect for my grows and it’s Bluetooth to your phone so you can also control it and lets you know when to add water and all the best humidifier I purchased

I currently own the Vornado Evap40, which has a pretty powerful upward-facing exhaust fan. I’m thinking of attaching some ducting to the humidifier’s fan, and running the ducting into my grow tent (with the humidifier being outside of the grow tent).
I bought a Levoit 1.6 gallon (I think) humidifier a few months ago to replace my tiny one. It was about $75 on Amazon. It is spaced for 1200 square feet but I don't think it is hitting my whole downstairs. It seems great so far. I use sink water and do see mineral buildup from my super hard water (19) but there is no way I am bringing home 2 gallons a day of distilled to fill it. weekly, I soak with discolored mineral areas vinegar with 15 minutes, and will spray certain bits down with 10% bleach water that seem slimy. It is a pain but something that needs to be done. (No-I don't mix vinegar and bleach-separate tasks)
The humidity sensor is easy to read and I keep it going at max humidity which gets my dry house to 50% humidity. I fill it once daily at max level. If I keep it at auto, i only have to fill it every 2 days. There are 2 models, one of which you can put aromatherapy oils in so if you want something like that then make sure you get the one that does that (I don't do that because it is overwhelming for dog noses to have all that scent in the air.).
The plants are doing great. I keep it near my one cluster of humidity loving plants and the brown crispy bits are stopped appearing on my calatheas, ti plants, and ferns. Actually the entirety of my plants downstairs are all looking better.
levoit humidifier this is the one I bought
Levoit this is all you need. Just set your desired rH, set it to auto and refill every few days
Had this one for over a year and have had no problems. Puts out a good volume and if you aren’t running on full it can go more than 24 hours. Have it plugged into the Inkbird IHC200 for control of humidity in different parts of the grow cycle. Hope this helps!
I use this one from Amazon in my plant room. It’s gravity fed, and stays on as long as there’s water available in the tray or water tank. It also has an auto-shutoff when water is out. It keeps the room (80 sq ft) at roughly 75-80% humidity if run at full, and lasts about 8 hours before a refill is needed. I only have cleaned it from minerals in my water. Never had issues with mold or smells.
Air purifiers are bullshit. However, I have this humidifier and you can turn the display off:
I've been using a cool humidifier for years. Specifically this one which looks like its been discontinued.
It uses less energy compared to ultrasonic and steam humidifiers.
But you have to buy replacement wicks and do a bit of maintenance on them. If you just leave them to constantly be soaked and using it 24/7, you'll end up growing mold on them in like a week.
What I do is have 2 or 3 wicks in rotation so I can let them dry out. I also wash them occasionally with vinegar(make sure you thoroughly rinse them out or they'll make your room smell like vinegar.
The other thing thing(with my model at least) is you can occasionally hear a gurgling sound when the water tank is feeding water. I don't mind because it only last a couple seconds, but just a heads up.
We have a Vornado 4 Gal Evaporative Humidifier and I'm very happy with it.
Our home gets so dry in the winter that not only do my plants look unhappy, but my whole family gets terrible dry skin, and the static electricity buildup is terrible!
We've had the Vornado since the end of November, and I notice a major difference in my plants, and none of us are struggling with the itchy, flaky skin that normally hits by mid-December.
I use two humidifiers in my apartment, one of them from my girlfriend which produces the white residue as you mentioned. The other one I have does not produce white residue, and it's this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002QAYJPO/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
The annoying thing is you have to constantly buy new filters for it, and rotating the filter helps as well. So it just takes more effort, up to you if that's worth not having the white residue. Also, yeah I have no idea how people use distilled water for it, it uses gallons of water a day, so I just use tap water.

I ordered this back in September and I’m happy with it so far. I like the top fill option and I love the smart WiFi feature. This is handy as it’s sitting in my plant room and I don’t always know if it’s out of water but I get a notification on my phone. And if I’m away from home, I can still monitor the humidity levels and change the settings if needed.
get a large console humidifier and put it next to a return register, we did this for the first time a couple of years ago and it's made a huge difference.
I use the linked humidifier in my plant room and have never had issues with mold, either in the room or in the humidifier. It runs pretty much 24/7, has an auto-off when empty, and keeps the room at 70% humidity on average.
Yeah basically, it's set it and forget it. The app will notify you if you using hard water and it needs a cleaning as well as when you need to refill it. Depending on your fan settings and your required humidity you'll have to play around with what will get you to your comfort zone. Personally I only have my fan on 5/10 because I'm not flowering right now and I only have to set the device to be 5% over my humidity zone. It will also very greatly depending on where your exhaust is vs where the humidifier is.
I've set mine next to my floor fan so it circulates evenly before it reaches the top of my tent and exhausted.
Link to the device I purchased. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08HS45N13/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_7DYVGV94PF0BT2BKGBVD?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Has it helped? I use this humidifier in my tent, paired with a temp/RH sensor. It seems to be a good combo for regulating RH in the tent during grow and dry.
Levoit. Numbers are true, night mode.
The one I have is discontinued, but this one is the one I've been eyeing.
It's top fill, one reason I want it lol.
What is the set point for the humidity? Are you sure it's where it should be --about 50%? Is the humidifier running constantly? Also... the display on mine can show the setpoint or the current humidity. Read the instructions. Check that you are using it correctly.
I have an evaporative humidifier that works really well in my 1100 sf house. It's a big circular wick that sits upright with base in the water, and a fan that blows across it. Super simple.
If the house is down to 30% (about as low as it gets around here) it will take 12-24 hours to get it up to 55%, which is my preferred set point. After that, the amount of water needed and how much it runs depends on how much my gas forced air heat runs, along with the outside humidity. Butt it can maintain at 55%, no problem.
This is the one I have. I love it. I've had it about a year. Water uses varies from 1 to 2 tanks a day. The side refill on the tank is very handy. I lay it across the kitchen sink divider and counter to fill.
Yea, that Boneco is not going to cut it. That’s more for a small sized room.
The one I have is this one https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00WAC9VKQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_S70A289412XQJGAGCWGX which is similar to the one that other guy posted. I had it running in a 1200 sqft condo and it has a 6 gallon capacity, which I had to refill nearly everyday to keep humidity around 45% in the winter.
I like this one because of the big tanks. Otherwise you will have to refill way too much. Even with 4 Gals I still have to fill them every other day.

Get yourself a nice humidifer.
This one works with Alexa, and lasts for a couple of days.
actually nevermind. if I were to buy it again, I'd get this one instead
This is the best humidifier I have ever had, and have tried a bunch. Hate ultrasonics. This one is basically a swamp cooler and works great. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004S34ISA?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I have This humidifier for my birds , I got it to help my bird who barbers her feathers, cause some more moisture can help them I’ve read. And it works super well for her ! And all my other birds seem to do well with the extra humidity also.
Our whole house humidifier is brand new, but still can’t keep up. We use evaporative humidifiers. This Vornado pumps out the most humidity and has the largest tanks: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00O0WOO74/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_api_glt_fabc_XRZ87CD5ZP1VME1123TS. We just use a water conditioner with plain tap water. Using distilled water gets old quick.
I like these and own 3 of them. Last for about 5-7 days before refill (results may vary depending on your locations rH). Ability to fully control through WiFi (VeSync app), on/off and set traps to turn on and off when needed or as the space exceeds or is under the desired thresholds. Also the ability to turn off the lcd screen is nice.
Looking at the price, these go on sale for prime customers bar times. I paid at least 20$ less for my units.
Yeah just a normal humidifier I bought from Amazon. I only need to fill it up about once a week since the controller turns it on and off and it’s not constantly running. Here is the link Everlasting Comfort Cool Mist... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077Z2QCS5?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Yeah - get this large one even if you live in a small apartment. It puts out about 6-7 L (1.5 gallons) of water into the air every 24 hours, and is controlled by a humidistat.
I do have a whole house humidifier (Aprilaire 600) but it is not tied to the thermostat. It is also the model without an external sensor. I use my large room humidifier instead most of the time (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00WAC9VKQ) since I find the whole house humidifier dioesn't really bring up the humidity all that much.
I manually adjust the humidity level on the air care unit depending on outside temperature.
This is the one, but I paid $40 for it from the same place. Had it a year and right now my RH is 70% (my AC infinity turns on as needed) but It’s been able to help me hold 40%-80% and only refill it every 2-3 days.

This thing is my rockstar. 4 gallon tank lasts about a day on full blast 24/7. Takes two wicks (replaceable). The main tank area separates completely for easy washing, but since it's evaporative and the fan runs long after the water is gone, it doesn't stay moist, so we haven't needed to clean it yet. The only downside is that the dual tanks are awkward to get under the bathroom sink faucet, but we have a little sprayer that attached to the toilet (for rinsing cloth diapers) and that works perfectly for filling it up.

I got this one that I really like
I wasn't sure I'd like the ultrasonic cool mist as I've always used the heated steam ones in the past but those aren't safe to have around little ones. And I absolutely did not Want to deal with filters and I want a really big tank so I wasn't constantly refilling it. I also didn't want something fancy (they have some digital ones and smart ones) because humidifiers aren't buy it for life and the more fancy it is the quicker it breaks.
This one is 1.6gal, has a simple adjustable dial. It also has an essential oil tray but I don't use it, it did not factor in to my decision but it's a nice bonus if you like that kind of thing. The simple dial also means you can plug it into a smart plug (or mechanical timer plug) and put it on a timer which is nice since you generally don't need it running all day.

I have a lil levoit one that's no longer available, but if I upgrade, I've been looking at this one.
Don't care about the Alexa app stuff. But it's top fill, built-in hydrometer, dark setting and the other levoit one I have is reliable.
It has a humidistat that connects to an app on your phone in which you can control the humidity level from afar

My buddy just got this one and it is phenomenal I will be buying it when I get the chance. Holds almost 2 gal connects to your phone and will tell you when it is empty. You can also control humidity of the room temp from your phone. It is also top fill with no screw cap just take off the lid and there is a massive opening. Standalone console evap humidifiers do not always need a water line and drain, e.g., https://www.amazon.com/AIRCARE-MA1201-Whole-House-Console-Style-Evaporative/dp/B004S34ISA
Whole home humidifiers like Aprilair's do, though.
For a more premium option. I like this one (I like being able to set a humidity level to maintain and the to fill is a lot easier
Just like that other commentor suggested, I run an evaporative aircare. It's supposed to work for a much larger home, but I use it for a 1,400sqft. I'm generally able to get close to 40% humidity with it running 24/7. It holds 6 gallons and I fill it once a day. My sink sprayer reaches over the edge enough to just let it fill, otherwise you're gonna have a bad time.
I used to use this humidifier. The only reason was because I already had it around the house. I had to group the plants kind of close since the vapor stream was kind of small, but since I didn't have a ton of plants, it worked for me. My calathea zebrina was totally fine using this, so if you're looking for a more budget-palatable option, might be worth taking a look at!

Buy some boveda two-way 62% humidity packs. If above 62% humidity or below 62%, the pack will bring it back.
The exact models look like they’re out of stock on Amazon, but this is what I run in the bedrooms (one per bedroom) and this is the larger one that I run for the downstairs living area. Both models are Honeywell, and I’ve had them for six years now- worth the investment. :) I only use distilled water in them, which seems to help make the filters last longer.
I use the humidifier in the link below. I've used them in a number of configurations. I've used them stand alone in large rooms, and they've been great. I have modified them for smaller grows using tents. In those instances I remove the diffuser and insert a 1.25" pool hose into the output. I run that hose around the perimeter of the tent. I drill holes every 12" or so, going from smaller to larger to keep output relatively even. I always use a fan to circulate everything inside the room/tent.
I've had two of these fail however the manufacturer has always replaced them with zero questions or hassle. All humidifiers and dehumidifiers tend to have short lives. As noted, always watch your water hardness, as scaling is the real killer. Clean everything with a little CLR from time to time, just like you would a coffee machine.

Hi!
Not sure if I'm too late or anything, but we had gotten some humidifiers that left the white film everywhere no matter what we did.
We got this humidifier (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00O0WOO74/ref=cm_sw_r_wa_apip_IqRi5uLFIfXI5) and there's no film anywhere, and we just use the faucet water. It's definitely helps with our dry noses and the static in our apartment.

Agreed. I bought a humidifier for my bedroom during the winter a couple of years ago and couldn’t understand why my pothos suddenly had a winter growth spurt! (We also don’t keep the radiator on in the bedroom.) Now I try to give them all humidity but I think I have to get another one. I have this vicks one which needs cleaning so rarely I love it, but it’s currently out of stock. Highly recommended!

What size humidifier? A small one. You can get a basic personal humidifier for $40ish.
I use Amazon a lot, so I have this one.
Strong agree; it’s actually pretty crazy how fast/even humidity spreads. We live in a ranch house that’s pretty spread out and use 1 unit. Given, it’s a pretty big unit but it works fantastically.
Have had this one for 4 years. Still going strong, I just replace the filter once or twice a year and clean it once a week.
These are just examples. Not really suggestions. I don't own either of these.
If you have a controller like the inkbird, get this style with the physical on/off. This one doesn't rotate tho. There's ones that do rotate with the same style switch.
If you want the built in humidistat, it's going to take readings at the unit, which could be a few Rh off from where you're plants are.. No big deal? Like this one.
Look for top fill if you want that convenience.
I have this Honeywell for my bedroom. Not sure why it says cool mist because it's definitely evaporative.
It has two very small LEDs that are not very bright and easily covered. It uses UV to sanitize the water. No humidistat, but it has a physical switch so you can put it on a timer or controller. Also the base and tank are dishwasher safe so that's nice.
I have this bigger one for the rest of my apartment. I think I have an older model than the one linked but my display just has green segmented numbers, not overly bright, but again easy to cover.
I got this one off Amazon

works well, easy to clean.
I've been using this humidifier for about 4 months with no issues other than with a power outage it will not resume humidity control, but you can easily control it from your phone. It is top fill and I have an additional reservoir attached so it will go for several weeks with needing a refill. Watch out for the night light "feature" I found it on the other day during lights out....
I'm using this. I have pets, so I had to be picky about choosing an "ultrasonic" one vs. a regular classic humidifier. I chose the regular classic kind and its great.
This one does a whole grow room, and/or whole level of your house if placed in a centralized area. Each tank is 2 gallons. The 4 gallons will last 2 days at full power at 30% dry humidity !
this is the exact one I use for my containers which each hold an eighth of weed. you could use these in a larger jar too, but maybe get a bigger size pack so it will last longer:
I got a new one a few weeks ago as my old one was big, bulky, and required a filter.
I went with this and so far so good https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077Z2QCS5/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glc_fabc_S4T4Q6YB0GRCDW8VRNC9?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I have a feeling they're out of stock. We got them off Amazon several months back. Sell like hotcakes in the winter. Might have to do "notify when available" on Amazon or if you're lucky and live in the right state, Nebraska Furniture Mart might have em
Vicks warm mist is the best one I've found. I hate the ultrasonic "cool mist" ones that are popular right now because they are more drying (I tried a few and took them back). The old fashioned steamy Vicks one really raises the moisture level of cold winter air and helps my sinuses! I find I don't need it in summer when it's naturally humid where I live, but I can't be without it in winter.
Nice collection. Get some humidity packs to keep those buds fresh. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XB26Q8N/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Yeah man I’d remove the dome after it breaks soil. I’m going to guess you need a warm misting humidifier. https://www.amazon.com/Vicks-Humidifier-Filter-Free-Moisturized-V745A/dp/B001FWXKTA/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=warm+mist+humidifier&qid=1609859161&sprefix=warm+mis&sr=8-3 Cool mist releases cool mist and warm releases warm. I use a cool mist one inside my tent.
I have this humidifier. It helps keep the dry air under control as I have sensitive skin as well and also for those who get sore throats from the dry heat of gas wall heaters. I like this one in particular because it's super easy to take apart to clean out any gunk or lime scale that might get in there because of our hard water, so it's lasted me 3 years so far.
I used this one humidifier but only because it was an old one I had around the house. Someone recommended this one
Hope this helps!
If you have light (and space) your shower is the best humidifier! I have neither so I bought a honeywell from Amazon and I love it!
I just got an ink bird temp and humidity controller, and a Vivosun fogger. Pretty sure it’s too big for me, but I like their brand and wanted to give them a shot. I also covered my bets and bought a tiny mister for cheap (link below) - mostly because the on off and 0-10 level knob appears to be mechanical and not digital so the on / off plug on the inkbird should run it. I’m in a super small space and humid climate, so I suspect the little one will suffice. But again I thought I would see what Vivosun has as a brand and return one.
Reptile fogger was a good search phrase then the size of the tank (1.8 liter or 5 liter for instance).
Edit. Link to little mister
I got this one . It has a ton of reviews and, even tho I try to avoid Amazon whenever possible, I couldn’t think of anywhere else to buy one. I hope my plants like it, but I really hope my dry nose likes it lol
We actually have 4; 2 of these which do almost nothing and 2 of these which are helpful but don't make a huge contribution when it's super dry. We keep those running around the clock in the winter. When our hygrometer (recommended) dips below 30%, we boil a pot of water on our stove until it hits a comfortable range.
Also, keep in mind that your windows have to stay closed or it's pointless. We often have to choose between warm and dry or hot and humid, since we don't control our heat.
Hope it helps.
Hey here it is:
raydrop Cool Mist Humidifiers for Babies , 1.70 L Quiet and Small Ultrasonic Humidifier for Bedroom Nightstand, Space-Saving, Auto Shut Off-(0.45 Gallon, US 110 V) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07XDNNS75/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fabc_IEsVFbGHN3W8G
This kind of design is my favorite, it seems the 'cleanest' to me since filters can grow mold (and need to be replaced) and anything warm and wet can also grow bacteria/mold.
get a decent humidifer
I use this in the room
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00O0WOO74/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
and sometimes a second ultrasonic one inside the tent.
good luck
