Buy a decent humidifier. Preferably a smart one. A smart one lets you set it and it turns off and on automatically. So that you don’t have it too humid and not humid enough. Built in monitor and controller

I bought a Levoit 1.6 gallon (I think) humidifier a few months ago to replace my tiny one. It was about $75 on Amazon. It is spaced for 1200 square feet but I don't think it is hitting my whole downstairs. It seems great so far. I use sink water and do see mineral buildup from my super hard water (19) but there is no way I am bringing home 2 gallons a day of distilled to fill it. weekly, I soak with discolored mineral areas vinegar with 15 minutes, and will spray certain bits down with 10% bleach water that seem slimy. It is a pain but something that needs to be done. (No-I don't mix vinegar and bleach-separate tasks)
The humidity sensor is easy to read and I keep it going at max humidity which gets my dry house to 50% humidity. I fill it once daily at max level. If I keep it at auto, i only have to fill it every 2 days. There are 2 models, one of which you can put aromatherapy oils in so if you want something like that then make sure you get the one that does that (I don't do that because it is overwhelming for dog noses to have all that scent in the air.).
The plants are doing great. I keep it near my one cluster of humidity loving plants and the brown crispy bits are stopped appearing on my calatheas, ti plants, and ferns. Actually the entirety of my plants downstairs are all looking better.
levoit humidifier this is the one I bought
Levoit this is all you need. Just set your desired rH, set it to auto and refill every few days

I ordered this back in September and I’m happy with it so far. I like the top fill option and I love the smart WiFi feature. This is handy as it’s sitting in my plant room and I don’t always know if it’s out of water but I get a notification on my phone. And if I’m away from home, I can still monitor the humidity levels and change the settings if needed.
Yeah basically, it's set it and forget it. The app will notify you if you using hard water and it needs a cleaning as well as when you need to refill it. Depending on your fan settings and your required humidity you'll have to play around with what will get you to your comfort zone. Personally I only have my fan on 5/10 because I'm not flowering right now and I only have to set the device to be 5% over my humidity zone. It will also very greatly depending on where your exhaust is vs where the humidifier is.
I've set mine next to my floor fan so it circulates evenly before it reaches the top of my tent and exhausted.

Get yourself a nice humidifer.
This one works with Alexa, and lasts for a couple of days.
I have This humidifier for my birds , I got it to help my bird who barbers her feathers, cause some more moisture can help them I’ve read. And it works super well for her ! And all my other birds seem to do well with the extra humidity also.
I like these and own 3 of them. Last for about 5-7 days before refill (results may vary depending on your locations rH). Ability to fully control through WiFi (VeSync app), on/off and set traps to turn on and off when needed or as the space exceeds or is under the desired thresholds. Also the ability to turn off the lcd screen is nice.
Looking at the price, these go on sale for prime customers bar times. I paid at least 20$ less for my units.
I have a lil levoit one that's no longer available, but if I upgrade, I've been looking at this one.
Don't care about the Alexa app stuff. But it's top fill, built-in hydrometer, dark setting and the other levoit one I have is reliable.
It has a humidistat that connects to an app on your phone in which you can control the humidity level from afar

Those are the 3 I tried before. The vicks one just broke completely, the dial just kept spinning.
Both the toppin and levoit were similar. They both have areas I just couldn't clean/scrub. The toppin started yellowing and having mold though, and was harder to reach even in the water reservoir.
The levoit was the easiest because the whole top comes off to clean every part of the tank, but the base has a flap I could never get under. Then the mold just started growing in a the tiny places of the base I couldn't reach, even with the tiny brush they give you with terrible bristles. Also, we got white dust even with distilled water. I've had the canopy for about 4 months and no white dust, no mold, no issues.
Hope this helps!!
It has automatic settings and the whole top opens, it can also sync to your phone.
This is the best ive ever had! 🤗

I put one of these in my drying room. Total game changer everything dries perfectly now.
What size humidifier? A small one. You can get a basic personal humidifier for $40ish.
I use Amazon a lot, so I have this one.
They don't sell the one I have, but this one has what I'd be looking for. Built in hydrometer, top fill, 6l, display turns off. Wifi?lol
If you have a separate controller, you can get one that doesn't have the built in controller, like this. They are usually a few bucks cheaper, but run continuously.
I like this Pure Enrichment humidifier a lot.
Pros: - pretty quiet - compact compared to some, and appropriate size tank for a bedroom overnight - easy to clean: no crannies that you can’t muscle your way to w some ingenuity and some paper towels/ q tips. Though I usually just soak the basin/well and fiddly bits in distilled vinegar once a week. - easy to fill and dump bc the cord detaches from the base of the humidifier
Cons: - there are only 2 humidity settings, so customization is limited - there is a bit of a blue glow from the button that I find irritating. I usually just flip it away from me, but ymmv depending on your light tolerance
Just get a humidifier like you would for your house. You don’t need to run it all the time, or at least I don’t. I run it later in the day and throughout the night to simulate their environment as they need it drier during the day and up to 100% at night. Pretty sure you can find em for like $25-30 at Walmart or on amazonthis is the one I use but there’s a bunch of lower priced ones. Just set it next to the gecks tank and you should be just fine. If you don’t wanna buy that, then I’d just mist 2 times a day, once at morning once at night, and again you should be fine if you’re using substrate it should hold humidity pretty well.
I have this one and like it. Seems good enough for my bedroom. https://smile.amazon.com/Pure-Enrichment-MistAire-Ultrasonic-Humidifier/dp/B013IJPTFK/ref=sxts_b2b_sx_fused_qd?content-id=amzn1.sym.62a99541-27fa-4056-948f-ab593cb35b6d%3Aamzn1.sym.62a99541-27fa-4056-948f-ab593cb35b6d&crid=1WW8M1RFENK5I&cv...
I also just put on a few pots of boiling water on the stove. That works very well in my kitchen/living room area.
We use this one. It’s wonderful.

I used to use this humidifier. The only reason was because I already had it around the house. I had to group the plants kind of close since the vapor stream was kind of small, but since I didn't have a ton of plants, it worked for me. My calathea zebrina was totally fine using this, so if you're looking for a more budget-palatable option, might be worth taking a look at!
I got this one . It has a ton of reviews and, even tho I try to avoid Amazon whenever possible, I couldn’t think of anywhere else to buy one. I hope my plants like it, but I really hope my dry nose likes it lol
This kind of design is my favorite, it seems the 'cleanest' to me since filters can grow mold (and need to be replaced) and anything warm and wet can also grow bacteria/mold.
I ordered this humidifier as it was the #1 most recommended on Amazon in my price range:
I got this one for my bedroom and love it. High/low modes, w/wo light, quiet, easy to clean. Lasts 24hrs on low, 16ish on high.
We have https://www.amazon.com/dp/B013IJPTFK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_t1_ybRkAbRHRG8QC and it works pretty well. It has a nightlight feature you can choose to use and I like that the mist is visible so I know it's working. And it's super easy to clean. Our last one had the filter you needed to replace and it was such a hassle.

It would be perfect if I didn’t have to manually turn it on when I check on the girls in the morning but it seems like its working out.
My versi has been kickin butt for a few years, so fortunately I think I've got a decent ventilation situation going on for her now.
Is this the kind of humidifier you use? https://smile.amazon.com/Ultrasonic-Cool-Mist-Humidifier-Whisper-quiet/dp/B013IJPTFK/ref=smi_www_rco2_go_smi_g2609328962?_encoding=UTF8&%2AVersion%2A=1&%2Aentries%2A=0&ie=UTF8

One more question: can Mona be, against her will, shoved into this
Pure Enrichment® MistAireTM... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B013IJPTFK?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share. Low cost it will keep your 4x4 as high as 75%rh. Has multiple settings to go higher or lower rh.
I used this one humidifier but only because it was an old one I had around the house. Someone recommended this one
Hope this helps!
We actually have 4; 2 of these which do almost nothing and 2 of these which are helpful but don't make a huge contribution when it's super dry. We keep those running around the clock in the winter. When our hygrometer (recommended) dips below 30%, we boil a pot of water on our stove until it hits a comfortable range.
Also, keep in mind that your windows have to stay closed or it's pointless. We often have to choose between warm and dry or hot and humid, since we don't control our heat.
Hope it helps.
Little more expensive than the super cheap ones that are on amazon but this one changed my life completely. Also, its plenty powerful for my small apartment room
Yes. I’ll link to the amazon page.

I've had the canopy for about 4 months and no white dust, no mold, no issues.
Hope this helps!!
It has automatic settings and the whole top opens, it can also sync to your phone.
This is the best ive ever had! 🤗

Air purifiers are bullshit. However, I have this humidifier and you can turn the display off:
Levoit. Numbers are true, night mode.
The one I have is discontinued, but this one is the one I've been eyeing.
It's top fill, one reason I want it lol.

I got this one from amazon based on the reviews and I really like it! It's small-ish but holds enough water to last all night plus it has a nightlight in it https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B013IJPTFK/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&psc=1&linkCode=ll1&tag=iamheahen-20&linkId=2b5ed9342333d3aeb38946691c58f783
Think - humidifier cheap.
I don't need sleep I need answers
Here is a pic: Humidifier

I have 2 of these for both of my rooms and my calatheas love it: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B013IJPTFK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_5l6DFbEKY9XHC
I just bought this one last month and I've liked it so far.
I use THIS one. It is ultrasonic so it doesn't add heat to your grow.
