For only 50 bucks more you can get this from amazon warehouse (in purchase options) " LG 32GK650F-B 32" QHD Gaming Monitor with 144Hz Refresh Rate and Radeon FreeSync Technology", Black https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07FLGR2PN/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_apa_glt_i_YCZSQZ01R9R4T4QN69A1
Man this monitor looks to tick most of the boxes for me. I recently picked up the LG 32GK650F-B which I am personally not a fan of at all and will be returning it. I think I have been spoiled from years of using an ips panel. VA just really doesn't do it for me, all it took was one look and I was disappointed with how washed out the colors were next to my ips, and don't even get me started on the black smearing... that was just the nail in the coffin.
My only hesitation is that I have heard that 4k 32" panels are just around the corner with very similar specs. coming maybe january? (don't quote me on this). I can't say if the ppi bothers me on the 32" next to my 27" or if it's just the previous issues I mentioned that are making me dislike it. ughhh I feel stuck I don't know what to do XD.
A great option that I'm looking at is pretty large at 32'' and is 1440p and 144hz. It's the LG 32GK650F-B. It also has an excellent price tag. Here's an amazon link.

This would likely let you play at 1440 at lower fps, or reduced resolution at high fps. Having an 11 year old monitor myself, you should consider whether your next pc will potentially be more powerful.
This monitor is my planned upgrade currently and has a lot of favorable reviews with a good price.
Deal of the day: LG Ultragear 81.28 cm (32-inch) QHD (2K) Gaming Monitor with 144Hz,1ms, Radeon Freesync, Display Port, HDMI x 2-32GK650 https://www.amazon.in/dp/B07FLGR2PN/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_WP9HWCS29DV4107PGM5G
You can look into this, I mean it’ll be better than 1080p 144hz
It’s a bit over your budget right now but I guess it’ll be a better investment unless 32 inches is too much for you
I’d wait for a few more responses on the post though
I have a quad setup with these 32” LG monitors and I have not one single complaint (1440 @ 144hz). https://www.amazon.com/LG-32GK650F-B-Monitor-FreeSync-Technology/dp/B07FLGR2PN/ref=sr_1_2?crid=TJ0Z6D1ZDM4A&dchild=1&keywords=32+lg+monitor+144hz&qid=1619284367&sprefix=32”+LG+M%2Caps%2C174&sr=8-2
If your computer is good enough to to run games at 90 FPS or faster I would suggest a monitor but unless you have an extra grand to spend high speed 4k monitors are ridiculously prices right now. I personally use a 1440p @ 144hz 32" LG monitor and love it. Here is the Amazon link to the same one I have and have zero complaints with it. LG 32" Ultra Gear Monitor
You'll have 2 issues using a TV as a monitor for gaming, the first being the refresh rate and the second being input lag. Most TVs top off at 60Hz but if you're lucky you'll find one that hits 75HZ so a high end PC performing at FPS rates higher than the monitor will experience screen "clipping" or "tearing". Some TVs have a high input lag which is just a nightmare in itself, I had a Polaroid TV that "should" have been perfect but the input lag was terrible. I'd move the mouse and it be a solid 2 count before the mouse moved across the screen.
Which ever way you go.. choose the highest refresh rate and lowest response time and you should be fine.
I personally am loving this one. LG 32GK650F-B 32" QHD Gaming Monitor with 144Hz Refresh Rate and Radeon FreeSync Technology https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FLGR2PN/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_hzVICb3BP5BB9
Just added it to my previous setup 3x MSI Mag24Cs works with GSync. Great visuals and budget price as it retails around 399$
Excuse me? It's $296 before tax on Amazon.

I'm not sure why you're insistent on trying to "dunk" on me. If you're not interested, move along.
I got the 32" 2k 144Hz monitor for 24K on mdcomputers a month ago.
It's available on Amazon for around the same as your budget. It's really good quality. After tasting 32", I don't think I'll go back to a smaller display.
Um...ok i just checked on Amazon to look for the link and it's now at 30k!!!

It was 25k last week.
I would just wait for this to get down in price and just get it. Set a price tracking alert. For 25k this offers the most value.
For the monitor, consider LG Ultragear 80 cm (32 inches) QHD (2K) Gaming Monitor with 144Hz,1ms, Radeon Freesync, Display Port, HDMI x 2-32GK650
https://www.amazon.in/dp/B07FLGR2PN/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_PB7D48K58EZFD0FWM6BX?psc=1
You might end up getting it for 22k if you time it.
I use LG ultragear . Out of all the 32inch monitors I reviewed online, only this one didn't have complaints about back light bleeding issue. Even the one I got doesn't have even a little bit of bleeding.
These are what I use. They are 144 and 1ms. Could buy better for sure but these fit my needs well. Good luck!

Can't go wrong with this UltraGear honestly. I've had plenty of monitors with LG panels and I've really liked all of them. Has 144hz, 1440p, solid color, etc
I use the LG 32GK650F-B. It’s a 32in 144Hz 1440p monitor. The PS5 recognizes the signal as 4K and the monitor downscales that image to 1440p. No trickery involved and the image looks incredible.
Oh yeah, I originally bought a 32” and it was 60hz which I thought would be fine cause I don’t play many games anymore... And then as soon as I did that I got back into games...
So I sold it and bought this one instead for the same price. Pretty good monitor got not one bad thing to say about it

I got an this around a year ago and have been very happy with it:
maybe you should just get ONE entry level gaming monitor with the budget you have. The 32” 144hz LG ultra gear 32GK650F-B is a pretty decent one 350 dollars before tax. Assuming your R11 has the spec to handle 2k at 144fps.
People talk about bottlenecks all the time in a computer - usually between your video card and your CPU. Or your hard drive and your RAM.
When it comes to video cards and cpus, and frames per second and quality, people seem to forget that your MONITOR is a huge bottleneck too. It doesn't matter how strong your rig is, or if you have 4 3090's daisy chained together in some frankenstien monster setup, if you don't have the monitor to actually enjoy it.
Also, a 1440p monitor isn't going to do you any good if it's too small. If you're going to that range, then I'd recommend 31.5 / 32 inches, minimum.
Finally, there is no discernible difference between 144hz and 165hz. Unless your income is solely derived from competitive FPS play, then 165 hz is just a cash sink. It should not be a factor in your decision making.
Here. Check it out. $300 for an LG 32GK650F-B: https://smile.amazon.com/LG-32GK650F-B-Monitor-FreeSync-Technology/dp/B07FLGR2PN/
There are tons of others available too. Go get one.
If you are looking for just 120 fps, then I would say go for any 144hz or 120hz monitor under 200 dollars. But if you are looking for higher resolution and 144hz, then get this monitor.
Check out the LG 32GK650F, slightly higher but it’s really nice!

This is the monitor I have. Most people on r/monitors recommend the 27" version.
I'd highly recommend 32".
Pretty much the entirety of your vision is taking up the screen that it is pretty immersive.
Amazon product page for what I believe should be the exact same item (LG Model #32GK650F-B) shows a monitor with an LED ring on the back. People talk about it in the product reviews and there are even some reviewer photos. One of the Q&A questions is about how to turn it on and off.
I ended up returning the monitor, I wasn't too big of a fan of the curve tbh, and I couldnt really see a difference from my 27" 120hz 1080p monitor. Instead I went with the LG 32GK650F-B which I bought for about 300 from Amazon warehouse. I just wanted something big which made me go "wow, that looks like an upgrade." Sorry I couldn't be more help
Played Battlefield 5 on 144 fps and it was butter smooth. No stutter/tearing so far. Type the same model name on Amazon, you can't miss it. I will link as well in some time.

If you want you can get a 32in 1440p 144hz monitor with 1ms response time for $450 on Amazon:
Okay it's actually only $320.00 but yeah I own won (got it when it was 4 something), it's a good monitor.
> If you have HDMI 2.0 then your 1440p display can output the PS4 Pro at 4K too, that’s then downsampled to 1440p. I have a 27GL850 that does exactly this.
I have a LG 32GK650F-B (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07FLGR2PN) that supposedly has 2 HDMI 2.0 ports on it but I don't get down-sampled 4K like you are saying. Could it be the cable then is not HDMI 2.0?
Would this be good as a primary monitor for PC gaming? Powerful PC behind it.

How would you rate this as a primary monitor for PC gaming?

I have no idea what I should be looking for. And this is about what I am looking to spend and the size I want, with something more than 60hz.
... But also with Prime day and black friday coming up. Would I expect to see much better deals on better stuff?
I just bought this (32" LG Ultragear. I think it's a bit older than the one you linked but the same price (hopefully since it looks like we're in different countries). But the one I linked has been great so far and would highly recommend if you wanted a cheap(ish) 32" 144hz
You clearly are not looking enough and wanting other people to do your work for you. I have this monitor and it's not even $400 and it's the best monitor I've ever used. However if you're looking for HDMI 2.1 then this isn't it. But it's an excellent 32-in 1440p 144 hz monitor.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FLGR2PN/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fab_6TNBFbG36ERB1
I prefer frame rates, when the option is given, so I’m on a 1080p/144hz/1ms/IPS/24in monitor. You have a dilemma, however, because you want to play at 32 in. I would say 1440p should be your target there. 1080p works great for me because I prefer to play on a 24 in screen. 1080p isn’t the best past that, but 4K isn’t as important imo.
Consider something like this to get the best of both worlds https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FLGR2PN/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_EG.vFbHJWT2EF
Dont want to spend more than 25k for the monitor. Do you know any good monitor that comes under this price?
Edit: Had my eye on this one, looks good.
Then there's the question of Nvidia or AMD for graphics. If you are dropping that amount of money you will want frame syncing.
Personally I have an LG monitor, this one and am extremely happy with it. If you have an Nvidia card there is an equivalent g sync model. This is obviously the 32 inch one but there are different sizes. It's not curved, not hdr, but it does have variable refresh and sync. And something that gets overlooked far too often it has a kick-ass stand that's adjustable in all axis. But that's just me, and the current price is quite higher than your budget. The is a used one available tho, open box.
This pc comes with a keyboard and mouse. As far as wireless I am old school and have always stuck with Logitech. My preference and personal opinion. As far as monitors, there are so many good ones out there with so many options that it would be tough for me to recommend just one. This is the monitor I use but there are many good budget monitors out there also.

So I today saw a killer deal on Amazon [LG Ultragear 144Hz,1ms 32" QHD (2K) Gaming Monitor with Radeon Freesync - 32GK650
Should I buy this monitor ? $300 seems like a really good deal for a 32" 1440p 144hz gaming monitor. What is the downside or catch to buying this ?
Thanks for the detailed response. I primarily game on PC, which is why I decided to upgrade my video card to a 2070 Super and get a better monitor to match it. But stupidly I didn't realize until today that the PS4 doesn't output 1440p.
The new monitor I'm getting (this one) does indeed have HDMI 2.0 ports, meaning a PS4 Pro would be downscaling 4K to 1440p, rather than upscaling 1080p to 1440p. Which I'm learning is better because the ratio of pixel density between 4K to 2K is neater than 2K to 1080p.
But yeah, since I primarily got the new monitor for PC gaming, I didn't think through how that would affect playing on the PS4. And I thought the mclassic could make up the difference.
I suppose that video card would be good for 4K gaming as well, just not at ultra-everything settings. But I'd also be losing out on those higher refresh rates. The 4K monitors I've looked at all seem to be locked at 60hz. So buying a 2K monitor at 1440p/144hz seems like a better deal. I think? I don't even know anymore. I don't game competitively or anything, so I'm not even sure how much a high refresh rate matters. I didn't even intend to spend as much as I have already.
What I might do is stick with everything I've done so far, but use my old 1080p monitor solely to game with separately on my PS4. And just not get the mclassic thing at all.
The 32 inch is currently out of stock,cc told it will be back to stock in a day,it was 24k on prime day.
Bought a 32" 1440 144hz monitor on prime day to go with this new build. GPU is a 2070 super. The only thing intensive I will be doing on this machine is gaming.
Also on Amazon for same price. Newegg returns and all…

I bought LG Ultragear 32GK650 for 21999/-. It is currently on sale on amazon. It is 32 inch 1440 144hz monitor.
Amazon undercut by a dollar + prime shipping. I'm really tempted to buy this as my 1440 upgrade.
https://www.amazon.com/LG-32GK650F-B-Monitor-FreeSync-Technology/dp/B07FLGR2PN
I would go for a 1440p 144hz monitor. Personally, I like IPS panels so something like this would be good
https://www.amazon.com/LG-32GK650F-B-Monitor-FreeSync-Technology/dp/B07FLGR2PN/ (32", $290)
There are also a lot of 27" monitors around that price point
This PC has an rtx 3070 + i5 10400f... Beyond this, it seems like the prices increase disproportionately to the performance gained.
I have these two
Both are 2560x1440p
If you are using it for gaming as well then maybe the LG Ultragear 32GK650 would make more sense.
But please check for IPS bleed and dead pixels when you get the monitor.

Is the series X capable of 4k gaming, does it even do 1440p?
If it does 1440p something with "AMD Freesync" 32in / 1440p / 144hz would be a good choice. For 4k I would go with the same as above but you probably don't need above 75-100hz and could probably go to a larger screen size.

i see, so if i snag a 1440, the ps5 can play higher res, lower fps or lower res, higher fps. what works better in your opinion sir?
also, i’m gonna go with a more well known brand to grab a monitor, just feels safer in case things don’t go as planned, could i bother you, or anyone else reading, for your input? i’m considering four options
After Nitro: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07MQBPMJ2/ref=psdcmw_1292115011_t3_B0862YHJ56

Sceptre:
AOC: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0862YHJ56/ref=psdcmw_1292115011_t3_B07MQBPMJ2
they all have very similar specs. i’m pretty ignorant as far as frame panels go, display type and gsync/freesync preferences goes for games like apex and cod and pubg goes.
This one just went on sale for $296 (check out the /r/buildapcsales sub), LG32GK650F-B32 on Amazon
i just got it today and it seems very nice, but im not very knowledgeable about this kind of stuff. Hardware unboxed gave it a good review though, found here

https://deals.dell.com/en-us/productdetail/8ee2
Note that Dell will cost a bit more, and ill have to wait a month to receive it, while the LG i can in a few days.
Is it worth it?
Thank you!
I bought this deal for 475$ delivered but it's cheaper on amazon with 460$ with shipping.
There are some cheaper from Amazon Warehouse if you wanted to take the risk: https://www.amazon.com/LG-32GK650F-B-Monitor-FreeSync-Technology/dp/B07FLGR2PN
get mine. L6 Ultra Gear 32 inch. Here's the link: It's freesync instead of g sync, but compatible with gsync. I'm using it with an rtx 2080. https://www.amazon.ca/LG-32GK650F-B-Monitor-FreeSync-Technology/dp/B07FLGR2PN
Hello all, and thanks in advance for you time. I need a hand choosing between three monitors:
Budget: $450 CAD
LG 32GK650F-B
MSI Optix MAG321CQR
Acer XV272U Pbmiiprzx
Purpose:
Music Production (80%) - Movies (10%) - Gaming (5%) -Misc (5%)
Graphics card is a GTX 970
Here's my current thoughts:
Not sure if 32 will be too big or not, I currently work on 27's at work and I do like the size, and with these being 1440p I will be able to fit more on the screen.
Not sure about curved either...since I do very little gaming, and I will have a secondary monitor (most likely above) for some stuff. Also when watching anything I do tend to seet a few feet back. My budget is around $450 CAD.
LG - 32, flat, seems to have motion blur issues, most expensive
MSI - 32, curved
Acer - 27, flat, IPS panel

First off, if you want to play AAA titles, make sure you have the right hardware to game at 1080p/1440p at 144hz. If not, go with a 1080p monitor. But, if you do have the hardware, then below one seems to be a good choice. I am not sure if it on a sale or something because the price seems lower than normal at the time of writing this comment (23.5k approx).
1440p 144hz 1ms - https://www.amazon.in/dp/B07FLGR2PN/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_PLa6FbZY4N3NS
An for 1080p 144hz - https://www.amazon.in/dp/B07S146CB6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_SPa6Fb8BPFPF0
Content viewing experience should also be good with these monitors I guess. Some one correct me if I am wrong.
Here is one recommendation:
LG 32GK650F-B 32" QHD Gaming Monitor with 144Hz Refresh Rate and Radeon FreeSync Technology
https://www.amazon.com/LG-32GK650F-B-Monitor-FreeSync-Technology/dp/B07FLGR2PN/ref=sr_1_3?
$300 USD
this monitor is still less than $300 NEW

i got the LG 32GK650F-B 32 inch, just arrived today, huge af, same price, not curved and lower refresh rate but all good :P
If you're still on the market for the monitor, below is the one I picked up earlier this year. I run 4 screens and out of those and probably 5 more I've had over the years, it's the best looking one I've had (the contrast ratio is insane), performs well too.
I have a 2080 Super running it and it displays Valhalla and Death Stranding (got those free with the GPU) like butter. It treats Cyberpunk well too, with the only thing holding that back being the game's own optimization. The monitor needs a bit of adjustment at first but being able to adjust it to Cyberpunk's vibe makes it seem like it was built for the game.

LG Ultragear 32-inch QHD (2K) Gaming Monitor with 144Hz,1ms, Radeon Freesync, Display Port, HDMI x 2-32GK650
Probably not as good as the LG 32GK650F but probably on par with the Pixio 329.
I ordered a Viotek GFV22CB because I wanted to try high refresh and I game in a dark room where IPS doesn't do as well.
It's 32" so far I absolutely love the monitor.

Looks good but I don’t see refresh rate mentioned anywhere. It’s probably 75hz? The 32” is better value [link](www.amazon.in/dp/B07FLGR2PN/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fabc_dlC_oGmRFbAWGS176)

Can someone advise on this $399 monitor I just found on Amazon? LG 32GK650F-B 32" 1440p, 144hz, 5 gtg ms. I think it's a VESA panel but I'm not sure. Seems like you're getting a bigger screen for same price but non-IPS? Is the BenQ better than this?
The little brother version of this model is on sale on Amazon for $299: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07FLGR2PN/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
The specs are basically the same, aside from Freesync 2 (one I linked has Freesync 1), the backlight, and built in USB 3.0 hub. The 32GK650F-B still has 144hz, Freesync, and that sweet 32" size.
I've heard mixed things about the color accuracy on the 650, but I have the G-Sync version of this monitor which has essentially the same color rating as the 650 and it looks great. Had to go through one round of gamma/brightness adjustment in Windows, but no complaints here. Screen looks great
Sorry, I was kinda kidding when I said $3k is not a mid-range budget. Because it's a high-end budget, and it's more than enough for your needs. Mid-range is usually around $1k without monitor, while budget is around 600-800 dollars. Anything beyond two grand is high end.
Looking at your list, seems like a pretty solid build. Here are some of my notes:
CPU is great, I probably won't wait much for the 5950X, but up to you if your work requires single-thread heavy loads.
The motherboard is pretty much top of the line, but if you don't need all the features it offers (the ones specific to X570 like multiple PCI-e 4.0 lanes, and ones specific to the motherboard like ports and connectivity), you can consider a cheaper, high quality B550 motherboard like the B550 Tomahawk. Like seriously, if you look at the LTT motherboard tier list, it's just a tier down from the tippy-top, for half the price.
Your SSD is, again, top-notch, but probably something like a Sabrent Rocket 4.0 will save you a few bucks for similar build quality and performance. You can still keep the Firecuda if you like though.
RAM is fine. Brand doesn't really matter, since it's the same three or four manufacturers that make the chips themselves. My only suggestion here is probably go 2 x 16 GB instead of 4 x 8 GB, so that you can expand your RAM further to 64 GB if your work load needs it.
Case is fine I guess. Kinda crappy airflow, but a very clean look. It's kinda NZXT cases' thing, form over function. Same with In Win. I don't think NZXT makes mesh cases (yet), so if you're sticking with the NZXT BLD service, then yeah just go with the H510i.
Absolutely get a 3080 instead of a 2080 super (unless you need it now). I already explained how it'll greatly improve your render times as the Ampere cards are compute GPUs that incidentally can game. It's only like 50-100 bucks more MSRP. Just don't give in to scalpers, it'll just incentivize them to continue doing that shit.
If you're editing video/film and doing CG, you'll need resolution much more than refresh rate. High refresh rate is useful for competitive gaming, but a large high-res display will give you much more space to work. Your current monitor is 1080p 165 Hz. Maybe consider a 1440p monitor like this from LG, or this ultrawide 1440p from Pixio. Admittedly, I'm not the biggest monitor guy, check out Hardware Unboxed monitor reviews or maybe ask around here or /r/monitors.
PSU might be overkill at 1000 watts, you probably only need like 750. Hell, PCPartPicker says you'll only need 550 watts. That said, an overkill PSU won't really hurt things, and if it's not much more expensive, it gives room for upgrades down the line.
Just a note on the keyboard, Cherry blues are designed to be loud. They fall under the category of clicky switches, like its similarly colored clones, or most of the Kailh BOX line. They're great to type on, some like the sound, but absolutely avoid if you're in an office or audio recording environment. Choose something with a linear switch (Cherry MX reds, blacks, or its clones, or something like with Gateron yellow) or a tactile switch (Cherry MX brown and its clones, many custom switches).
Here's the PCPartPicker list I made of your parts with some changes on my end. The 3080 price came from NewEgg, but it's unavailable right now. Couldn't include monitor and keeb + mouse, they're not in PCPP. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/fjZqkX

I'm looking to do a total overhaul of my setup in the next coming months. I'm running a good rig...from 5 years ago. Still works well for what I have but I desperately want a new, larger monitor. I'm looking for some help to figure out which way would be better to go.
I currently have a BenQ XL2420Z, I think, which is a 144hz TN panel. I asbolutely want to upgrade to better colors which are a higher priority for me than monitor refresh. I do enjoy playing many FPS games, but I play things more along the lines of Arma 3, Rising Storm 2, Grand Theft Auto V, and lately Sea of Thieves rather than CS:GO. I am also looking into possibly investing in a wheel or HOTAS to play Elite: Dangerous/MS Flight Sim/DCS and I do play Forza Horizon 4 on occasion.
One of my main concerns about getting the 32in is that I have not been able to find one that is IPS. VA panels are pretty easy to find but I haven't found any IPS. (which is what's in the one I linked above) That is honestly my factor for considering ultrawide.
I am aware of the pixel density, which is why I've chosen a 32in panel for the 16:9 as it's the same as my current 24in 1080p monitor. I feel as though 4K probably isn't worth the investment for me right now and the increased monitor size is more important than the increased resolution, but better colors would be nice. I've attempted to go to my local Best Buy and compare the monitors although they don't have too much of a selection. Mostly I just felt that an ultrawide just looked somewhat unbalanced with it being so much wider but not much taller and that's what shifted me to wanting a 32in.
I have also considered just a 27in monitor as it allows me to keep 16:9 for convenience of media, get a larger and nicer screen, and possibly save some money. For example, I've been looking at this Dell S2721DGF
I tend to sit about ~21in from my monitor when FPS gaming and lean back while playing more casual like GTA which brings it up to like 27-30in.
I would love to hear about anyone's experiences with ultrawide or 32in (regardless of resolution) and what you use it for! Thanks for any information!
I'm hoping to power this setup with a 10600K and a 3070.

Hmm... The GPU should be fine for 1440p at 60 HZ, if you end up going w/ a Ryzen 5, the stock CPU cooler it comes with should be plenty enough to cool it. Also, have you seen this monitor: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FLGR2PN/?ref=r4m_udw_co_ds_dd&th=1? I don't have it myself but it seems to be way cheaper, but also a 1440p and 144hz. Same brand @ LG.
https://www.amazon.in/LG-Ultragear-Gaming-Monitor-Freesync/dp/B07FLGR2PN/
This dips to around ₹24k but only when Appario or Cloudtail is selling it. Other sellers jack the price up. Why not try local? It should be available at that price range.
why not 32 inch 144 hz for main?

The only thing near to your budget from LG and a pretty similar monitor I could find
If you can go up to Rs.25K -- https://www.amazon.in/LG-Ultragear-Gaming-Monitor-Freesync/dp/B07FLGR2PN/
Its available again after a week or two being out of stock.
I'm using that monitor since last 5 months. Same requirements as you -- coding, movies, lots of gaming. Its 1440p with 144hz, and it actually delivers that. A lot of monitors advertise as 144Hz but have bad response times which doesn't give you true and consistent 144hz.
Here are some reviews for it:
Hardware Unboxed: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GB5m_VuvSLM
RTINGS: https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/lg/32gk650f-b (They even have a ICC calibrated profile up there for this monitor for free!)
My overall experience with this monitor has been wonderful, especially for the price point. There is slight wobble with the stand if I deliberately bump my table really hard, but that's not a major issue 99% of the time. Its also got 90° pivot for a portrait mode. I use it when coding, which is a wonderful experience over coding in landscape orientation! This was actually one of my primary reasons for buying this monitor. And it supports FreeSync for both AMD GPUs as well as Nvidia GPUs.
As for your question:
> does 2k makes alot difference
Depends on content. I found that the clarity and sharpness on text when using VSCode/Community IDE for coding was fairly noticeable for me when I upgraded from a 1080p VA panel to this 1440p VA monitor. Games also look less blurry than my previous monitor.
Alternately, this is also a great 1080p144hz IPS 27" monitor coming in at Rs.22K -- https://www.amazon.in/LG-Ultragear-Compatible-Monitor-Display/dp/B07R7636MH/
Although for 1080p on 27" there will be some pixelation if you sitting at a feet or two's length from the monitor, which is the general sitting range for monitors. But that's my personal preference, a lot of people seem to be happy with it.
Check this review for it: https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/lg/27gl650f-b
lol I have a few setups. I can definitely send you the Amazon links. The prices tend to fluctuate so you should buy accordingly. They both are unfortunately like $50 above their lowest dollar.
This is the LG 32in: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FLGR2PN/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fab_eLoDFbQVCM0F4
This is the Acer 34in: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08BG4GWRL/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fab_OFoDFbD4T7H0Z
Check out LG32GK650-F. Catch is its 32", so its BIG, which can be a bummer depending on your table/clearance etc.
Otherwise its specs are top-notch -- 1440p, 144hz, FreeSync(48-144Hz/120Hz), 5ms response, VA panel, great OSD controls(joystick-style), tilt, height, pivot adjustment, comes with DisplayPort cable in the box. There is also LG's OSC software allowing adjusting the settings of the monitor and much more through software instead of the OSD.
Absolutely in love with it, using since ~5 months. Since I'm not a professional content creator, color reproduction was not a top-priority for me. Having said that, out of the box for my unit colors were better than my previous 1080p60Hz Samsung VA monitor. But you can always look up for calibration profiles to suit your needs.
Best thing is it costs 25K on Amazon whenever its available. Here is HardwareUnboxed's review for it -- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GB5m_VuvSLM
Here's the Amazon link: https://www.amazon.in/LG-Ultragear-Gaming-Monitor-Freesync/dp/B07FLGR2PN
I'd say for future-proofing: 1440p-144Hz is the best sweet spot currently especially at sub Rs.30K price.
Check the ratings review you can also find some alternatives if you want.

It's VA panel 32 inch 144hz monitor and it's absolutely awesome!
Is LG 32GK650F-B the same thing other than Freesync?
Are there any noticeable differences between the two worth the price?
Yeah, you don't have many flat options at 32" 144hz+ (actually I can only think of 1), LG makes https://www.amazon.com/LG-32GK650F-B-Monitor-FreeSync-Technology/dp/B07FLGR2PN
It's a VA Panel and it takes a lot of tweaking out of the box, and waiting for it to get brighter (worried me for a day or 2 because no one talked about how it gets brighter after a while). I like it, but my GF's Samsung JG56 32" picture quality looks far better, too bad they don't make it flat.

I really like my monitor.
and the Benq EX3200R (the vertical monitor)
Just to give you an idea of the great monitors you can get if you wait for a deal, I got this one on July 15th when it dropped from $500 to $300. Microcenter dropped the price as well as Amazon, so I just drove to Microcenter and picked one up there for the same price. Great contrast (as you can see here at rtings) and excellent response time/blur for a VA panel.
I definitely recommend you check out the gaming monitors reviews at rtings. They judge really harshly, so anything above a 7.5 is pretty good. For example, you might consider one of these for under $290:

Why would anyone pay $330 used when it's the same price at Amazon and normally cheaper at Costco?
