I mean no offense, but you can buy the same monitor on amazon for the same price, but it would also have amazon's return policy to back it up.
With it being unopened, you don't know if that model has bad back bleed/washed out colors/dead pixels/damage/etc.
Edit: ah, I see I took too long to write that
From what I understand of what I read, it's max refresh rate that you'll be able to set on your PC settings will be 60hz
The monitor might be able to attempt to simulate 120hz by enabling some kind of setting on the actual monitor itself but it won't be anything like having a real 120 or 240hz panel unfortunately
Here's a 240hz monitor https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0841787BZ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_G0oeFbXP0XZE3
This one is on sale for $300, my friend has this one. He says it's amazing amazon LG monitor link
with a budget like that, you can get even a 360hz monitor if you want
I was specifically looking for something with G-Sync compatibility
Not sure what dyac means, but I got this 240hz monitor, and I was comparing a 240hz pegged framerate of course, although frame rate doesn't seem as much of a big deal as a tiny bit of input lag. It's still better than any non-crt I've used. Judging how 100hz is 1 frame every 10ms, I would estimate the input latency at about 5ms (1/2 way between the delay of having vsync on and off on the 100hz), which I hear is still pretty good, but of course it isn't zero.
Ah, I see. Well the same monitor I linked above is available in both 240 Hz an 144 Hz models at 1080p. I can’t speak for any other brand, but those are probably safe bets if you want clear picture at high frame rates.

Display Port to HDMI Problem
Hey, I’m thinking about buying the LG Ultragear 27GN750 240hz monitor. It supports 240 hz using Display Port. But the problem is that I have a laptop, and my laptop only has an HDMI Port. I thought about using a DP to HDMI cable but apparently that doesn’t work, is that true? Also, I wanted to know if there is anything I can do to get the 240hz? Help is Needed! Thanks in Advance!

The monitor is awesome. Colors are beautiful and it feels super responsive. Love it.
Thank you for this one. It’s not available on adorama even though it says it is lol. I only had another monitor that’s 240hz on amazon which is this one:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0841787BZ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_sOdiFb8DHSQYF
My old cousin got this one and hasn't had any issues yet
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0841787BZ that's a good sale
That totally depends on what type of games you are gonna play on your PC, if you are into FPS games and need the fastest monitor and don't mind care about the looks of the game then get a 1080p 240hz monitor or if you like playing story based games and want to enjoy the scenery then getting a 1440p 144hz monitor or 4K monitor would be awesome.
You can check out the ones I have linked above or you are free to do your own research and decide for yourself.
use pc partpicker to check compability. Also to get 240 fps u will need a good monitor so go for this monitor -
Dont worry, you will easily get 240 fps on this . Happy gaming!
This PC isn't bad for the price, and this monitor is good if you prefer high refresh rate over resolution, or this monitor if you prefer resolution over refresh rate. Note that all items I listed are on sale so be sure to buy before they end.
Also wasn't sure if the 2k included the monitor or not so I just included monitor in the cost.
Hope that helps!
I actually just saw this
What do you think?
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0841787BZ/ That one just dropped 100 bucks. It's not bad. It's not quite CRT, but pretty dang close to not bother you.

I'm considering the LG 27GL83A that has 240hz. This seems better than what I linked but cheaper. Is there a catch that I'm not seeing?

Should I get 2 of these: https://www.amazon.com/LG-27GL83A-B-Ultragear-Compatible-Monitor/dp/B0841787BZ/ref=psdc_1292115011_t1_B078GVTD9N?th=1
Mostly for gaming.
Yes, that would be my recommendation, if you can afford it. You could probably find two really good monitors that would meet that requirement for around the same price as a single 4K 144hz monitor. Something like these are typically recommended:
1080p Recommendations:
LG 27GN750 240 hz: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0841787BZ?tag=rtings-mn-r-20&ie=UTF8

Asus VG279QM 1080p at 280 hz: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0845QFDVM?tag=rtings-mn-p-20&ie=UTF8
Review: https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/asus/vg279qm
Of those monitors, above I personally prefer the LG over the Asus because Asus has a funky overdrive implementation. However, the Asus does have undeniably better response times at 280 hz than the LG does at 240 hz. Both would be excellent +200 hz monitors. With that being said, 1 ms response times are all marketing garbage. No monitor achieves 1 ms response times without insane overdrive errors popping up - just as an FYI for you.
4K recommendation:
LG 27UK650 60 hz: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B078GRM2MV?tag=rtings-mn-r-20&ie=UTF8

A lot of these monitors go in and out of stock right now due to the pandemic, so just watch for that. Don't pay an absurd amount for any of them. All of them should be available for ~$400-500.

https://www.amazon.com/LG-27GL83A-B-Ultragear-Compatible-Monitor/dp/B0841787BZ?th=1 so if I get this one I wouild be set? But why is this pirce much lower than the other ones? Is it because its cheaply made?
Ok so I listed a few, al same response times and g sync, ips panels (for better color and viewing angles. First ones a less expensive 144 hz for FPS gaming just 1080p. The last two are fit within your budget but are for future upgrades to gpu. Ones 240 hz 1080p, and ones 144 hz 1440p. Great monitors though. I couldn’t find on amazon what kind of the panel the one you listed was but if possible to get a quick response and refresh rate IPS, with good reviews you’ll enjoy the colors better than a TN or VA panel but like I said I didn’t know what kind you posted
Edit:sorry bout the pc part picker list one but it’s on amazon as well
