Anyone considering the G4? same processor as 5x, 1440p, bigger battery, removable battery/storage, and close to the same size. Apparently has quick charge capability. The only thing lacking appears to be Fingerprint and usbc/fastcharge, and wireless charging. I'm finding factory unlocked versions for around $440. http://www.amazon.com/LG-H815-5-5-Inch-Unlocked-Smartphone/dp/B00YA8308M/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top?ie=UTF8
Yep. This is the one i bought, it even has no warranty in the name, but they still honored it.
The G4 that Amazon sells does not work with Verizon.
You can read about the LTE bands your carrier uses on Wikipedia.
You can read about what versions of the G4 are available and what bands they can talk to on GSM Arena.
The Moto X Pure and the G4 seem to be around the same price.

That said, I really hope the Moto X Pure does work out for you, and that you won't need to keep switching phones.
I gotcha. I found the following:
Phone | Sprint | Amazon |
---|---|---|
LG G4 | 24x$25 = $600 | $469 |
HTC One M9 | 24x$27 = $648 | $609 |
Galaxy S6 Edge | 24x$28 = $672 | $664 |
Am I missing something? Is the only benefit here the ability to spread the payment out? To be fair, if I put a $609 M9 on a credit card with a 15% interest rate, it would cost me $820.54 assuming I paid it off as slow as possible (and monthly compounding, $822.01 if daily), which makes the $648 option from Sprint more appealing.
Sorry, the last time I got a phone upgrade, it was still they days of, "You are eligible for a free phone every 2 years as long as you sign a contract." I'm new to the new way of doing things. Thinking I may hold off for the Nexus 5 though.
