Roy Lichtenstein is my favorite artist.
Here is my favorite print: Drowning Girl.
He is the master of the stereotype. The image of the drowning girl creates a story in your head about the woman and her past interactions with Brad. Despite the fact that nothing is there outside of this print. Combine this with the comic book feel of his art and the unbelievable and exhausting lengths he would go to to create it and you have something special. Outside of Edward Tufte's outstanding visuals and print quality, this book is the most beautiful piece of literature I own. Lichtenstein Prints
