I use the hardcover 400 page Moleskin dot grid notebook with sharpie pens and a white Sakura pen for mistakes. I also use a Frixion multiple with 4 colors for appointments and other things that may change and need to be erased. I also use tiny dot stickers on my monthly calendar (each color has a different meaning) and a 6” metal ruler. All of that fits easily in this: LIHIT LAB. Refillable Notebook with Cover, Journal Cover, Black, A5, 8.2 x 5.8 x 1.5 inches (N1647-24) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00BBNNYGM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_X2XPCVZ1JVRD3MDDS5TD?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I do love it! I keep my washi tapes and Frixion highlighters elsewhere since they are not used daily.
In case you weren't aware, Lihit Lab makes notebook covers as well. I have one and find it quite useful.
This may not be that helpful, but I use an A5 notebook for bullet journaling things for work and personal life. I recently picked up a LIHIT LAB cover for it and love it. It's really well made and uses Cordura and comes in black, navy blue, orange and olive. It has pockets for pens/pencils and other items on the front (my cell phone fits as well). I'm just carrying this with me by hand for now.
The only options I found that could hold multiple pens and an A5 notebook were from Galen Leather and this from Lihit Lab. I went with the Lihit Lab one and really like it. I think it looks better in person than in pictures. Here's mine: pics
I use A5 size (8x5) typically as a journal size, between 160- 300 pgs, depending on paper thickness. Also, I have a side stitch bound A5 with about 100 pages, which I use for my annual spreads and collections and whatnot. That way the main bujo is the current and if it lasts 3 months it's ok, and I don't have to redraw and/or re copy longer term spreads and collections. Too keep them together, I use a Lihit Lab A5 notebook cover and slip the collections book in there.
