I found this thread as I've been looking for the same today, nothing ever seems to fit. I have started down the custom shirts path yet. My girlfriend has a bespoke suit from Sharpe and it's incredible but they are really pricy.

I'm looking for something more affordable right now and looking to take advantage of some of the discounts different brands are offering (Reiss 25% off, Suisupply 30%). I'll probably end up trying something from Reiss or Suisupply and trying to get it tailored.

Sene Studio in LA seems really affordable for "custom off the shelf" -- meaning they have a suit pattern and they make that pattern to fit you. I might try their custom shirts. They are new and have a limited number of patters (one suit, one shirt).

I have the Italian GoWeave suit from Everlane and I really like it, under $300. It's not a traditional fit with the pants being elastic waist but great quality for the price I wear it frequently to conferences and business meetings and it's not too formal and very comfortable.
