Alright, so as a heads up there could be other issues but it's not always a battery.
There are some computer shops that I'm aware of, but I normally do my own work so I couldn't vouch for any. I'd look at reviews however.
If you just want to buy your own battery, look for you model # and type battery on Amazon, Ebay or on Google.
You need to do extensive research to verify the part will fit.
For example, my old laptop, here
There's like, 15 model numbers in the title. Some will work, some won't. It's good to find one with people of your model # mentioning it does work (or it doesn't) so you can verify it works. I also don't recommend skimping on the part.
I've found buying cheap will result in much quicker deterioration or iffy quality.
TLDR:
Hey all! I'm back again. Check out the inventory in the link above and let me know if you're interested. Unfortunately this time a lot of units are missing SATA cables and case bottoms. I can't do anything about the cables, but I can 3D Print case bottoms if you need them. Links to the .STLs are listed below for free if you want to DIY.
Please check the very bottom of the post for answers before asking a question.

These units are sold as-is. I cannot guarantee how long they will last. I don't know where they come from. As in earlier posts, I get them from a metal scrapper who doesn't know computers. This is why I test 100% for functionality before listing them.
I use Passmark's CPU Benchmarks to get a reference for these units. I've plugged in the CPUs of some listed above.
MiniPCs with limited components (more working units than bottom cases, 2.5" SATA cables, and 2.5" drive holders) will be sold complete by order priority until I run out, unless requested otherwise. I actually have maybe 5x 2.5" drive holders. They will go to the first people that order units (for free). The rest can go without, have me print one, or print one themselves.
I don't have many 2.5" drive screws. If you can, let me know if you don't need them. If you don't receive any with your units, then I've run out. I'm sorry.
I will not provide 3DP case bottoms if there are OEM case bottoms still available.
19V @ 3.42A AC Adapter I’ve been referring for these units (non-affiliate link)
WiFi/BT m.2 I’ve been referring (non-affiliate link)
Datto BIOS password: R@str
One user reported a Celeron 3855U. I functionally test 100% of units, but not each unit's hardware specs if they are visually identical.
Limited number of bottom covers. Without bottom cover will be $5 cheaper.
Units lack 2.5" drive holder. 3D Printed piece will be available for $1.50
FREE 3D PRINTED FILES. You're welcome to save a couple dollars and print these components out yourself.
Bottom case screws for the Datto ALTO 3 V2 are M2.5 x 40mm with a pan/flat head.
Bottom case screws for all Datto units (except ALTO 3 V2 & S4X1) are M3 thread. OEM screws have rubber heads that act as feet. I bought socket-head cap screws to use with the 3DP bottom cases which sit inside, letting the case rest directly on the surface.

Hey /r/MiniPCs.
I posted about 4 months ago about a huge score I received from a metal scrapper who was going to throw a bunch of functional MiniPCs out. I convinced him back then to let me take them and save them from the landfill.
I crossposted to a couple places and sold all of the units. I was able to convince the scrapper to find me more functional electronics that could be saved. This is what he got me. All this stuff definitely helps while we're in this chip shortage. It is impossible to find Raspberry Pis and these little units are way more powerful than them.
Here is the updated Google Sheet listing everything I have
PM me if you have interest.
Notes:
MiniPCs are barebones, like last time. No OS Drive, No RAM, No AC Adapter.
Chromeboxes all have a SSD for the OS and RAM installed. They just need the AC Adapter. All have been wiped.
AC Adapter I've used and suggested others get. Price has gone up $2 since I first got it, but it's still a good deal. It's a laptop AC Adapter so if you have an extra one lying around or want to find a better price, you need a 19V @ 3.42A with 5.5mm/2.5mm (OD/ID) and a positive center.
Provide me with your zip code so I can estimate shipping (I did some international shipments last time but it was only cost effective when people bought multiple units). I can usually get one MiniPC or Chromebox anywhere in the continental US for under $14 (most areas $10 or under) and up to six (6x) units for $16 with USPS Medium Flat Rate Boxes.
I know the monitor is heavy. I'm in Central New Jersey so local redditors might have the best chance with those.
Prices are up a little from last time because the scrapper and I had to do a lot more leg work to get these and the scrapper (understandably) wanted money for the effort in setting them aside for me (last time I did it.)
