Maybe these vicious, thoughtless vandals used that extremely hazardous, environmetally-toxic substance known as FUN TAK. When this material is used to adhere objects to other objects, it's been known to require TWO FINGERS to separate those objects.
When will these EVIL VILLAINS be BROUGHT TO JUSTICE???@?
Forgot your other question! It’s actually sticky tack like from the office supply section that would be for putting up posters and such. Loctite Fun-Tak Mounting Putty 2-Ounce (1087306) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001F57ZPW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_t-tQBbKF8MKKT I use it to stick minis to pop bottles so I can spray paint them to prime them.
Museum Putty is the correct answer if you don't want to glue it. It's easy to find, just search on amazon (or wherever.)
Thanks for the writeup! This thing does not have an analog hat, is that right?
As for it being too light, I had similar issues with my T16K set, try blue tack on the bottom of the case. Not directly on the rubber feet but near them. Get it pressed down well and the throttle will stick to your desk until you decide to move it, and the blue tack shouldn't leave any residue.
Sticky putty - it's ok for hanging things on the wall but I use it mostly to keep things stuck to tables. My PC monitor has it under it, holders and whatnot on my desk, etc. It keeps the cat from knocking shit over lol. I also stick it under my PC case's feet to make it not slide around and really hard to tip over.
You could have also messed up the bearings, but unlikely that'd happen to all 4 motors simultaneously. If it is dirt, I was recently turned on to the fact that Fun-Tak or equivalent is a great way to get dirt out of the motor bell when compressed air isn't enough.
You should get a bunch of cheap putty and line the inside of the cup. Not only will it add weight to it, if you line it evenly enough, it'll add stiffness to the cup walls making them vibrate less.
I use Mounting Putty.
Works great, and you can use it over and over. As long as you keep it clean, is reusable, yet easy to remove when your done, and doesn't leave any residue on your pieces.
They work, I used some mounting putty on the bottom of the speakers so they are less likely to move. It’s pretty standard for the speakers to sit on top without a screw holding them in.

Sunscreen probably dried up, so use q-tip moistened lightly with isopropyl alcohol to soften up the sunscreen. Then use blue tack.
Blue tac is your friend. I love the stuff. Leaves no residue, comes off clean. Less expensive than stands and helps with more dynamic posing.

This stuff.
grab some $3 fun tac off amazon. works great.
Cheapo solution that I actually use more than my helping hands is just a glob or two of blue tack Just stick whatever you're working on to the putty.
I use Loctite Fun Tak to hold the models onto whatever I'm using as a base. I also use it to suspend my brushes *brush down to dry on the side of my desk. Stuff is awesome and a little goes a long way.
I use a little ball of blue tack-type stuff. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001F57ZPW/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It holds the mini well and comes off clean. And it's reusable as long as you don't somehow get the stuff dirty. I got the idea from a Learn to Paint Kit that suggested using bottle caps or pill bottles to keep your hands off the mini.
On the VR lens lab adapters... I'm using poster putty to keep them in place. Works great for me and cheaper than printing a new adapter and getting new lenses. https://www.amazon.com/Loctite-Fun-Tak-Mounting-2-Ounce-1087306/dp/B001F57ZPW/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1479924243&sr=8-2&keywords=loctite+fun-tak
FWIW, I really wish the Rift had been made more friendly to glasses - either with an optional "facial interface" or some mounting posts attached to the lens assembly. I don't blame VR Lens lab - there's just nothing in there to attach anything or corners for a friction fit.
You could always use a little bit of blue tack to give a tigher, non-permanent hold. Its available pretty much anywhere you can buy masking tape.
And its useful for masking when you eventually go to paint.
yeah I used some kind of putty http://www.amazon.com/Loctite-1087306-2-Ounce-Fun-Tak-Mounting/dp/B001F57ZPW/ref=sr_1_16?ie=UTF8&qid=1450982665&sr=8-16&keywords=putty
I used this instead because its easier to shape than masking tape, and it can be reused a few times. The only problem I'm having with these is it takes more effort to remove than masking tape
you are only supposed to use one per speaker so maybe your looking at the wrong holes, if they are too close together?
also, that mount is only meant for specific speakers, the majority of bookshelf speakers have no mounting holes and are meant to just sit atop the stands.
some people use fun tak to secure the speakers:

Fun Tak works really well.

If you are using the stock steel plate, it does tend to have a lot of ping with the screws mounted into the based of the case.
I saw this in another post on /mk, but putting a thin line of sticky tack between the plate and pcb between the 1st and 2nd, and 4th and 5th rows does wonders!
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001F57ZPW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
For metal cases, some people put a dab at the corners of the plate and case as well, but I didn't do that on my acrylic case preonic. Happy to post pics or a typing test if you are interested in hearing/seeing it.
I’m try this stuff tomorrow, and let you know how it went.
Best thing I have used is blue tack that I got from amazon. It always cleans them really well for me.

The best tip I heard for cleaning AirPods was to use poster hanging putty to blot the dirty parts - this method is not only super effective, but it's so cheap! The putty is ~$4 for a pack (https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B001F57ZPW/), and since you really don't need much for each cleaning, it will last you a very long time. Give it a shot! It was a game changer for me.
Looks like an old glob of fun-tak. (Amazon link to first google result)

Used to hand little things on the wall or whatever. I remember using it for posters etc when i was a kid.
I've been using blue tack for 3+ years now and its been great:

And a chopstick might work. It's what I use on minis.
I’m thinking the “Blue-Tac” trick should work. Here’s a link;

You’ll have to clean them. The mesh/grill is fill with ear wax. To clean them safely try the “Blue-Tac” trick. Here’s a link;

It comes right off of surfaces and their feet nicely.
I used something similar to this and it worked decently
Ive also used some q-tips and isopropal alcohol, not soaking wet but just damp, and it worked well except if you rub too hard you're removing layers off the case itself so don't rub hard.
Otherwise you can also get this
Apparently according to the reviews on amazon they are hard to put on and don't stick well but mine work just fine on my case and I got them around christmas time
You could use blue tack or a little hot glue.
Blue tack on Amazon - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001F57ZPW
Pick up some some blu-tack.

For cleaning that blue fun tac type stuff is the best I’ve found. Push it in to the crevices and it pulls all the dust and lint out.

I use blue tack a lot of the time. It's reusable and holds fairly strong. I've been able to hang a marvel select spider man upside down with it.
http://www.amazon.com/Loctite-Fun-Tak-Mounting-2-Ounce-1087306/dp/B001F57ZPW
Not sure on the strength with figures
Honestly? Seriously? Weirdly convenient? big Glob of Fun Tack. It holds anything, any angle/temperature, completely unobstructed and no residue, is stupid Cheap, can choose anywhere to mount it. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blu_Tack https://www.amazon.com/Loctite-Fun-Tak-Mounting-2-Ounce-1087306/dp/B001F57ZPW
Sticky tack holds your shit up way better than tape and unless your on an uneven surface comes right off (I use command strips if its on something im afraid it won't come off cleanly)
