This has nothing to do with Newegg since everybody does it. Here is Amazon on your first item:
https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Stereo-Gaming-Headset-Cable/dp/B00BFOEY4I
Notice that Amazon does the exact same thing. It doesn't look like Amazon is doing it with everything from Sades, but they do it for lots of other items.
So it is very much acceptable since nearly everybody accepts it.
Should artificially high MSRPs be used all over? Probably not, but that's a much larger problem than newegg.
Having a mic is decently important since it's easier to explain what's going on and reply to chat. If I were to recommend a budget headset it'd be the Logitech 230 (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00BFOEY4I/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_i_AQHHEbCHK3SHW) simply because it goes on sale alot but depending on how big your head is it might be slightly tight(also since theres the virus it might take a long time to deliver and return if using Amazon). As for webcam you dont have to worry too much about getting one. Alot of people from my stream wanted to see how stupid I look when I mess up a play or get jumped so I created a goal in which if I got 50 followers and became affiliated I'd start to use webcam which actually worked(as of right now I don't see the logitech webcam I got nor do I remember to model sorry). Anyways I too love socializing with people as well, the whole purpose of creating my stream and discord server was to create a community of gamers in where we can all have fun and interact with one another as one big family.
tl;dr looking for lightweight surround sound headphones for pc gaming
I currently have Logitech G230 headphones, problem is the audio quality feels lacking, in games its hard to tell which direction sound came from. Despite amazon advertising them having surround I dont believe they do have that feature.
I reside in EU, but will order from other side of the world if I have to. Help much appreciated!
After lots of looking, I just bought a Logitech G230 with the standard Mic and Headset 3.5s. Love it more than any of the more expensive USB ones I've had.
A little bit cheaper but I personally think they have great quality, I've used them before. The mic is okay, but you could probably get better.
the logitech g230s.
the headphone and microphone are 2 separate jacks. has a pretty good set of drivers. has a physical mic mute toggle switch and a volume slider. honestly my favourite headset. they're over-priced in retail stores ($120NZD) but you can pick a pair from amazon for about $30USD. i've had mine since last year and so far i've had zero problems.
I'm guessing you're looking for some that are just over $19.99? I didn't look too hard but this $39 one has the promo offer.
Nah, one of the sides snapped earlier last year. I replaced them with a pair of Logitech G230s. By comparison, I think they're much better - Good mic, audio clarity, bass, light-weight, and built with a more flexible design. I took the cups off of the 377 and put them over the G230s. The cups on the new set caused my sensitive skin to break out. $50 Headset. Took a week to ship. Big. Rash. All around my head.
Might wanna check out the Logictech G230's. I have two sets myself (one for work, one for home). They're pretty solid, comfortable, the sound quality is pretty decent, and they are circumaural (over the ear instead of on the ear).
I mean, I've definitely used better, but for a sub-$50 headset, they're pretty awesome. One big downside I would say is that they're a little on the big side, and they don't pack well.

Pros:
-Leveled sound upon purchase. No "enhanced bass" bullshit
-Very Very cheap
-Non-USB (Only really concerning for sound card users)
Cons:
-A little uncomfortable for people with sensitive heads
-Bit heavier than the standard headset
I personally like the Logitech G230. I've had mine for a month (to the day) short of a year. I also wear glasses, so if that is a concern, it's still great. And it's only $42 USD.
Depends on your budget and what quality you want out of your headset.
My recommendation of the day for a cheaper headset. (Cause sale)
I use the Logitech G230's and they regularly go on sale for $30. Decent headset with average sound quality for both the mic and speakers.
Budget: $50 (No more!)
Source: Plugging into a laptop...
Isolation: Don't really care. Used mainly at home...
Preferred Type of Headphone: Full-sized with microphone (Those guides don't give me ANY good microphones, except the $40 ones. I just want a good and cheap headset).
Preferred Tonal Balance: Not really sure about this. I'll stick with balanced, since I'm not spoiled in sounds
Past headphones: Used These in the past. broke after 6 months.
Preferred Music: Doesn't really matter. I just want a non-tin kind of sound. I HATE sounding like it's in a tin can.
Logitech G230's Never did me anything wrong, they're really good quality, sound is good, the mic is pretty good.. ill link you on amazon, however i don't think you're US

From my personal experience, these are really good.
Logitech G230 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00BFOEY4I/
My younger sister and my fianceé both have a set, whenever I need to use them, they're comfortable and sound good for gaming, and good enough for movies, music, ECT. They're also fairly inexpensive and while they don't claim to be surround sound, they definitely have directional audio and lots of it. I was impressed.
You will need this though if you want to use the included microphone on the headset in games on your PS4. Just plug this into your controller and then plug the headset into this adapter. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M0T6PSF/
https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-981-000541-Stereo-Gaming-Headset/dp/B00BFOEY4I/ref=dp_ob_title_ce This is the updated version of my headset. I bought it 3 years ago from a lightning deal on Amazon. It has everything you asked for.
This was my headset i bought. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001O5CCQK/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Sorry I meant to paste a link. Logitech G230
The Logitech g230s work on both my xb1 and my pc. Very affordable. (Need a splitter due to the individual mic and audio cords)

In the 40$ range thats a bit complicated, there is zero margin?
If not, either:
Or:
I'm not a gaming person, but I did, I then I just buy Logitech.
Logitech G230 is a decent one.
Hyper X Cloud Pro should be good too.
You can spend a lot more on a headset if you wanted.
Looking to buy a headset for $60ish or less. Right now I'm looking at
and the
I'm honestly not sure which one to get or if these are good at all, so some help would be appreciated!
I think it deleted my comment:
If you get the first one you will need a splitter, I use one and it works fine. The second one is usb so it'll be fine.
These Logitech G230 are pretty good, and they're only about $1 over your $30 budget.
Might want to adjust the price on the G230. Brand new on Amazon for $34.
My bro recommended it to me. I cannot say how it is myself, but it looks okay. Can't guarantee sound or mic quality, but let me read some reviews :
https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-G230-Stereo-Gaming-Headset/dp/B00BFOEY4I
or
Which of these two gaming headsets should I buy? The Logitech G230, or the Creative Draco HS880?
I can recommend the Logitech g230 too, never owned one but my friend swears on them... http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-G230-Stereo-Gaming-Headset/dp/B00BFOEY4I/ref=sr_1_10?ie=UTF8&qid=1461091591&sr=8-10&keywords=hyper+x
I can also recommend the cheaper Fatal1ty Headsets, i owned them and their are extremly good for their price: http://www.amazon.com/Creative-HS800-Fatal1ty-Gaming-Headset/dp/B002DS4HTM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1461091530&sr=8-1&keywords=fatal1ty+headset
If you pay a little more 60$ you can afford the awesome Steelseries V2 which i currently use: http://www.amazon.com/SteelSeries-Siberia-Full-Size-Gaming-Headset/dp/B002Q8IHDQ/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1461091537&sr=8-4&keywords=siberia+v2
With either of those headsets you do nothing wrong.
More what hes talking about is the modmic http://www.modmic.com/
But that is 45$-50$ USD so thats probably quite a longshot. I hear very good things about logitechs headsets, and even owning a pair at one point i can say they are very well rounded, comfortable headphones http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-G230-Stereo-Gaming-Headset/dp/B00BFOEY4I
http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-G230-Stereo-Gaming-Headset/dp/B00BFOEY4I/ref=sr_1_1?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1456327888&sr=1-1&keywords=logitech+g230 that's what I've used for around a year now. No complaints
I've got a pair of these and really like them, I think they're a great value if you have a good mobo/sound card.
$56 but whatever Logitech G230 Stereo Gaming Headset https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00BFOEY4I/ref=cm_sw_r_other_awd_e80Awb9JT2AR3
Heard these are good you just need adapter http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-G230-Stereo-Gaming-Headset/dp/B00BFOEY4I/ref=sr_1_2?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1447430738&sr=1-2&keywords=Logitech+headset
I myself recommend these http://www.amazon.com/Stealth-Premium-Wireless-Headset-devices-TBS-2470-01/dp/B00YXO5X4M I got them when they were on sell for 129.99 I prefer them because they don't connect to my controller. But any option other people suggested especially XO Seven's on sell right now
Logitech G230 Stereo Gaming Headset Red
On sale rn for 40$
I just bought a Logitech G430 headset and they're pretty damned good. They're a bit over your budget, but the slightly stepped down G230 seems to be $35 right now at Amazon.
Not gonna work. the shipment is +15 dollar same as Amazon..
Good thing she's wearing the Logitech G230.

Don't buy em, they're so uncomfortable. If you're looking for a nice comfy one, buy this headset http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-G230-Stereo-Gaming-Headset/dp/B00BFOEY4I
you aren't going to get a great headset for under $35 but here are some around that price range: http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-G230-Stereo-Gaming-Headset/dp/B00BFOEY4I/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1420323561&sr=8-4&keywords=gaming+headset
Most computers have a really bad, cheap internal sound car (unless you put a better one in yourself). I do not recommend using a 3.5mm microphone if you want good quality. That being said, maybe look at the Logitech G230 which is a pretty good and inexpensive headset. Then save the extra money for upgrading your PC or somethign down the road.
Otherwise, USB Hubs are fairly inexpensive if you want to go with a USB mic but don't have another slot.
I have a Logitech g430, but any over ear headphones with surround sound work the best.
I have this one. Really a very nice Gaming headset. Bought for 25$
I have a pair of $20 Sades SA-708. They have some pretty good sound, and the mic quality is fair. But the in-line mic switch and volume bleed are horrendous. When my mic is turned off on it, it will send sound back through the mic line and broadcast it. IMHO, you get what you pay for and a cheapish pair of headphones will be cheap. I have bought cheap headsets before and they break too easy and they suck after 6 months. A Logitech G230 headset seems up your alley, although it is $58.16 CAD, it isn't too far from your $50 CAD range. http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-G230-Stereo-Gaming-Headset/dp/B00BFOEY4I/ref=sr_1_1?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1456496537&sr=1-1&keywords=logitech+headset As /u/jobo-chan stated, there aren't many, if any, headsets that are of good quality for that price. You are better off to save up and wait to buy a much better set for $81.14 CAD http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Surround-Gaming-Headset-Technology/dp/B00CQ35C1Q/ref=sr_1_2?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1456496902&sr=1-2&keywords=logitech+g930+gaming+headset You will be happy you bought a better pair. I wish I did. Also, check out newegg.com too. They sometimes have cheaper prices than amazon.com, and you might be able to find a pair with a rebate on them.
Is there any headphones by logitech that are like the g230 but without a mic?
http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-G230-Stereo-Gaming-Headset/dp/B00BFOEY4I
The headphones themselves look perfect, but I don't need a mic so I don't want to pay for one.
Sades products are just cheap. That's it. Don't expect much more out of it but that. They do function though.
You'd be much better of with a Logitech G230. Or waiting for a G430 to go on sale for $39.99.

I don't know how it compares to other headsets, but I picked up a Logitech G230 for about $30 bucks at Best Buy. The sound quality is good and the mic works well (my brother thought I was muted when I didn't talk for a while). They are also pretty comfortable, they cover your entire ear and the padding on the top lets you wear them for a long time. The cable is really long, which is a nice feature for me, I hate headphones with a short cable. I would recommend it.
Wait WAIT WAIT! Have you seen These?
Don't make a Rook*ie mistake, check the prices.
