the mx master 3 is also really good if they like the way it feels in their hands otherwise this is also nice
I'm a long time Logitech user and have tried a lot of other major brands to see if there's something I want to switch to. The steelseries mice require slightly stronger force to actuate.
If you like the clicking feel of Logitech mice, I'd recommend switching to the G305.
https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-LIGHTSPEED-Wireless-Gaming-Mouse/dp/B07CMS5Q6P
It doesn't have a rechargeable battery but the battery lasts at least a few months (if you're using it heavily).
Buy one of these: https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-LIGHTSPEED-Wireless-Gaming-Mouse/dp/B07CMS5Q6P
You honestly have to be using a Dell office mouse from 2011 for your aim to be that bad, I can't find any other explanation.
(And yes the guy is hacking)
G305 is only $29 ish rn, great wireless mouse, with a lithium battery it's sub 90g
Yea man not to be rude but that’s a really bad mouse to use for gaming. Wireless isn’t bad, but to be used for gaming it has to be optimized with low latency tech. Only like the big names have gotten it right. Not only that, but that’s a really bad and outdated sensor.
If you want to stick to wireless, I suggest getting a Logitech g305
Logitech G305 Lightspeed Wireless Gaming Mouse, Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CMS5Q6P/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_FZGDQ941G2TH2YMF4KYH?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
It’s a really good mouse at a very reasonable price. The wireless tech in that mouse is made with gaming in mind.
Yep, the G305.
The sensor is flawless, the shape is exactly the same as the g203, and it's only $40. It does require batteries and is a little heavier than the g203 but it lasts forever on a AA battery. I would definitely recommend it, I just can't go back to wired mice.
I wonder if the g305 would suit you well. I used the wired version (g203) for a while and really liked it, but wanted to move to wireless. (I moved to wireless before the 305 came out and have a 703 currently and have double click issues, and I'm somehow managing to claw/ finger tip the thing)
It is an Ambi shape, so it doesn't fully fit what you want. I think it was really good though.
If you can raise your budget, the g703 has served we well, only with some minor double clicking issues I can't sort out. Its an ergo mouse but I feel as if your grip style being claw and fingertip would be better suited for an ambi.
not on sale right now but ive been using this for just over a month and love it https://www.amazon.ca/Logitech-LIGHTSPEED-Wireless-Gaming-910-005280/dp/B07CMS5Q6P/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1543708609&sr=1-1&keywords=g305+wireless
g305 seems perfect but I am from Spain and it seems it does not ship to Spain:
https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-LIGHTSPEED-Wireless-Gaming-Mouse/dp/B07CMS5Q6P
"This item does not ship to Spain. Please check other sellers who may ship internationally. Learn more Ships from and sold by Amazon.com. Gift-wrap available."
Is there any way I can get this mouse?
A good mouse don't necessarily have to be expensive. There are a lot of budget options out there for not a lot of money.
Here a few good options:
Logitech G203: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/TzQfrH/logitech-g203-lightsync-wired-optical-mouse-910-005790
Delux M800 PMW3335 (dont bother with the PMW3325 version it sux) https://www.amazon.com/M800DB-Wireless-Lightweight-Ultralight-Programmable/dp/B08PCT8YY4
Honestly finding a good mouse is pretty subjective, it all depends on your playstyle and the size of your hands. I bought the "best FPS gaming mouse" aka Logitech G Pro Wireless but for me it was too small and hurt my hand like hell, rn im using a G502 and it's objectively seen as an inferior mouse but for me it's perfect.
This is a great mouse and everything, but 90%+ gamers are probably going to get a lot more value out of a Logitech G305 (not currently on sale) with a Lithium AAA and half of a AAA to AA adapter to keep it snug, it's light with a great modern sensor, the wired Pros body form, and great battery life (even with that mentioned AAA battery).
I realize a lot of people know about this, but I figure it's worth mentioning all the same. If money is no issue for you though, by all means, you'll be happy with the Pro wireless too. But this isn't a great sale on it to begin with.
I'd spend the $4 extra & get it new: https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-LIGHTSPEED-Wireless-Gaming-Mouse/dp/B07CMS5Q6P
Black G305
https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Lightspeed-Wireless-Gaming-Mouse/dp/B07CMS5Q6P?th=1

It might be small for you. But who knows, you might like it.
>review my parts and suggest potential improvements (price or utilization, based on my needs)
other than your extremely overkill cpu+gpu for league your parts seem to be fine, one thing i would like to note though is you could opt for 16gb ram rather than 32, most people don't end up using more than 16gb and it's wasted money if you don't have an intended use for it (for streaming, 16gb is just fine)

for the os you can find cheaper keys elsewhere or obtain one through other legal methods

>suggest a motherboard + power supply (trying to learn what everything means on a mobo is extremely overwhelming)
for a motherboard i'd recommend the x570 tomahawk or either of the asus x570 motherboards (TUF/Strix), since you say you don't plan on overclocking the strix motherboard is probably not necessary but the other 2 have decent vrms

for a psu anything 850w gold+ is ideal for you, any reputable brand works (corsair, be quiet, evga, seasonic, silverstone, etc.) and if you want the most convenient build i'd get a fully modular psu (let's you remove cables and put your own custom cables)

>suggestions on a potential gaming keyboard + mouse
if you want a really nice keyboard to play around with and potentially play with different switches you can get the gmmk pro with gateron yellows (linear, light switch), gateron brown (tactile with a small bump), or gateron blue (loud super clicky heavy switch). the nice thing about the gmmk pro is that the board is hot swappable (you can take switches out and put new ones back in with out soldering) so if you decide you don't like your switches you can just sell your old ones and buy new ones

if you're not interested in playing with switches/experimenting and you just want a beginner board anything from ducky is really nice (if you have any questions about what switch you should get, you can just dm me or reply)

for mouse some good options are the g305, model o, or the g pro, the first 2 are good options and the g pro is there if you want a higher end mouse

>specific brands/items of peripherals/accessories that you think are
necessary for longevity of my PC (like UPS, GPU sag brackets, extra case
fans + how many, cleaning tools, cables that will make my life easier,
etc.).
if you have a decent amount of fans in your pc you might need some fan splitters but if you only plan on buying the case it won't be necessary, you don't need any extra fans because your case has really good cooling on it's own
My mouse is a Logitech G305. It's very lightweight and the battery lasts a long time. You can often find it on sale for $40 or less. If lightweight isn't important to you, some gamers prefer a mouse with more side buttons.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CMS5Q6P
I can't provide a link to my keyboard because I made it myself. If you can stand the noise, I recommend getting a mechanical keyboard. You can find them cheap now that the patent on cherry switches has expired. You need to decide what kind of switches you want.
Linear force (red) are popular with gamers. They're smooth all the way down with no physical indication they've actuated. They're popular because they have a very short reset distance. You only need to release the key a tiny bit to be able to press it again.
Tactile (brown) are also popular. They have a bump before actuating so you know when they've been pressed. The reset distance is a little longer because you need to release them over the bump before your can press the key again. It's somewhat similar to a membrane (standard) keyboard. This is my preference.
Clicky (blue) are very tactile. They have a seperate piece inside them that drops when they actuate. It creates a very crisp sensation when pressing a key, along with a distinct "click". They're not as popular with gamers because they have a long reset distance. You need to fully release the key before it can be pressed again. The noise on them is also louder than other style switches.
Here's a couple links to mechanical keyboards. I don't have experience with these specifically, so I don't endorse them. They're just to give you an idea. Looks like they have blue switches.

It's already listed in Amazon UK but no release date so far.
Overclockers UK has it as well with an ETA: 6 June.
I left a comment on rocketjumpninjas review of the mouse.TLDR: costs $109 AUD and takes around 7-10 days shipping. For anyone interested:
>It's possible to buy the 305 from the US with 7-10 days delivery. The mouse is currently unavailable for sale in Australia (and according to twitter will remain this way until further notice) but i did manage to find a fairly affordable workaround. Auspost offer an international mail redirection service called ShopMate, which charge a very low int shipping rate. First step is to go to the logitech page on Amazon.com, find the g305 which is on sale for $59.99 USD ($79 aud) and purchase the mouse as usual. When asked for a US shipping address, head over to the Auspost website and follow this guide https://shopmate.auspost.com.au/our-services/how-shopmate-works. By signing up (free and takes 1 minute) you are given a US mailing address. Enter this when checking out at Amazon and select the "2 day FREE guaranteed delivery with a free trial of amazon prime" option and voilà, your post is sent to the address, you then receive a quote for shipping to Australia (max price for the size of the parcel is $30 AUD) and 5-8 business days later you have the mouse. Important note: After your done make sure to go back to the Amazon website, click top right where it says "accounts and lists", scroll down to "your prime membership", then on the left hand side hit "end trial and benefits" to cancel any recurring payments. Alternatively when checking out of prime you can skip this and get normal 3-5 day shipping. All up the delivery took just over a week and a half and cost me $109 AUD. A bit pricey i know, but if your like me and you simply can't/couldn't wait then i'm sure you'll have no problems paying a little extra. Enjoy.
They don't even need to be expensive.
The 305 is excellent.
Here's what I did:

Thats all I've got so far and I LOVE this setup. Portable, powerful, but no problems using as a workstation for home
Logitech G305's are on sale currently 20$ bucks off making it 40$
This is the currently the cheapest/fastest way (that i'm aware of) to buy the mouse and ship to Australia.TLDR: costs $109 AUD and takes around 7-10 days shipping. For anyone interested:

You can just get something like the Logitech G305. There's no best mouse. Just get something with low latency and is comfortable to use.
Also $39.99 on Amazon
White version available at Best Buy - rumored to be discontinued.
My suggestion is the Logitech G305 for $10 over your budget, but it's got the best wireless sensor on the market. It isn't gamerized by any means and you can add macros to the side buttons if that's what you want. I really like the scroll wheel as well, it's rubberized and textured with distinct steps that aren't too tactile.
For a cheaper wired version, the Logitech G203 is the same mouse only it's using the gold-standard wired sensor. It has RGB, but you can turn it off. Other than that, it has the exact same features and shape.
A friend of mine bought the CM Devastator, but that was like 3 years ago and I don't remember what the mouse felt like(if the scroll wheel was mushy in comparison), but either of these are a lot better.
Granted, I'm using a G Pro which is yet another of the same style, it's just a little older and more expensive than the G203.
Logitech g305 is currently 35$ on amazon, Steelseries Rival 3 wireless is also a solid choice for 30$, they might be a little out of your price range so keep that in mind if you are on a budget
Currently the G Pro X Superlight is on sale for $150 just about everywhere, but that's not exactly "budget". You can go with something like a Model O (I have the Model O Wireless, I love it), but the honeycomb shell design isn't for everyone
There's probably nothing else from Logitech that will qualify as lightweight. The G305 claims to be lightweight but it is still 99 g.
Something like the Steelseries Rival 3 (77 g) might be good. Or the Razer Viper Mini (61 g). Or the Razer Orochi V2 (60 g + AA or AAA battery) can be pretty good if you want wireless. However apart from the Rival 3 the other two mice are a little small.
The Logitech G303 isn’t exactly lightweight but it comes in lilac, mint, and blue colors. But yeah if you have the money, the G Aurora or the pink Razer collections are probably much closer to what you want.
This is the mouse that I use daily. It's not usb-c charging but honestly I don't know of any wireless mice that are. I think I've replaced the battery in it like twice in a year? You could just buy a few batteries while you're at it.
i think ill skip it then (hope i dont regret this) is this a good mouse?https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CMS5Q6P/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1
i guess i will wait and skip this then is this a good mouse ?https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CMS5Q6P/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1
Highly recommend this mouse: link

Logitech G305 - cheap and minimalist. I put a AAA and some tinfoil in instead of a AA and it feels great. https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07CMS5Q6P/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_9FXH4BQSYG0GY6CTMK5X

it gets tricky if you're into competitive shooters. But if you're not I would buy the logitech g305 if you have medium to small hands or the razer basilisk x hyper speed if you have larger hands.

$50 won't get you a lot. Define nice.
The cheapest you can get on an actively good wireless gaming mouse is a Logitech G305 at $40. I believe it's gone on sale for $30 before. You could buy used too.
Then you've got $20 for the keyboard, give or take depending on the deal you get on the G305. If you want mechanical switches you're out of luck. The best you can do is that sometimes Chinese brands nobody has ever heard of like E-YOOSO will discount $30 knockoff keyboards to $20 so that they sell a lot of them and get reviews, but they're rarely wireless and when they are they're $25. Over budget, and those deals don't happen often.
So you could just get a cheap wireless membrane board. The only qualifier I would use would be to avoid laptop-like chiclet boards. The cheapest I'm able to find is the Logitech K270.
If you don't care about the mouse being any good, you could just buy combos. At that point, the qualifier I would use would be brand recognition and warranty, so buy Logitech probably. I went to see what other common office brands like Dell and Lenovo had to offer and didn't find anything worthwhile. You could get a MK295.

I wouldn't trust it since the wireless/bluetooth shit might be garbage. A really good affordable mouse to grab would be the Logitech g403 which sells around 40$ USD, which I recently switched to from a SteelSeries Sensei 310 (which is also a great mouse if you don't mind the wire). They tend to sell out fast though, so if you like it grab it kinda quick https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-LIGHTSPEED-Wireless-Gaming-Mouse/dp/B07CMS5Q6P/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=logitech+g305&qid=1617671705&sr=8-1

It's also a "lightspeed" version now, which weighs around 99g
If you're gonna be gaming, definitely get a mouse if you don't have one. Preferably a gaming mouse, due to their better accuracy, customizable buttons, and adjustable sensitivity. I'm using this one for my current laptop and I like it a lot, but there are plenty of other great options out there too, wired or wireless.
I got this laptop lap tray a few years back and I'm a fan. Does exactly what I need it to, and propping up the back end of the laptop also props up the screen, which works well enough for me lying in bed.
u/thatavidreadertrue recommended this cooling pad a few days ago, which is what they used to achieve these benchmark scores, and the reviews are promising.
On to things that I can't recommend yet, but decided to purchase after searching around a bit:
I don't know what it is about displayport cables, but if reviews are anything to go by, it's impossible to make a good one. I was shopping past my bed time and overpaid for this one. Hasn't come in yet (and neither has the laptop), so we'll see how that goes. You can probably get a cheaper one that will work just fine. I just like to over-research and over-spend.
Speaking of which, I also spent too much on this USB-C hub. I figure getting an externally-powered 10Gb/s hub would be more likely to work for me than a bus-powered 5Gb/s hub. I do some music production so I'm hoping (though not hopeful) that it can support a couple USB instruments. My research indicates that you should never expect a DAC or audio interface to function properly when connected via a hub, and I kind of expect instruments to be the same way. Also wireless dongles of any sort seem to have issues with hubs in general.
Depending on your use case, you may be able to find something cheaper that works for you. From my research, it seems like finding a USB hub that works for everything you need it to is a bit of a guessing game. It's probably smarter to buy a cheaper one, test it, and then return it and get a different one if it doesn't work out.
Out of all this stuff, the only thing that I can say for sure you'll probably need is a mouse. The rest really depends on your use case what stuff you'll be plugging into your laptop.
Anyways, hope this is helpful. Sorry for the wall of text.

~$1200 I really would recommend buying a new mouse tho. Non-gaming wireless mice usually have high latencies. A (good) relatively cheap wireless gaming mouse would be the logitech g305. https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-LIGHTSPEED-Wireless-Gaming-Mouse/dp/B07CMS5Q6P

Grab this mouse and this keyboard and you will still have sub 2ms delays in inputs.
Logitech has had their input delay tested and it holds up. You get no difference between wired and wireless mice.
E: personally, I love not having to fuck with a cord on my mouse, fuck that shit
is this it here

I dunno if it matters much, but I was able to get the black one brand new shipped and sold by amazon for $50 just a couple mins ago... Logitech G305
Wireless, low response times for fps games, great feel, and good on a budget. Only complaint is the middle button feels a little squishy, but at $47 it's a steal.
Also used this wired one, it's cheaper. https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Optical-Hyperion-buttons-910-004067/dp/B00L8VNQ88/ref=sr_1_2?keywords=g402&qid=1564635419&s=gateway&sr=8-2
The g305 is around 50 dollars, 48 right now on amazon. It’s also wireless.

The model o- is 50 USD and also has RGB! For the O- you will have to preorder it.

Are people aware this is around $49 on Amazon? https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CMS5Q6P
Will probably get this one. https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-LIGHTSPEED-Wireless-Gaming-Mouse/dp/B07CMS5Q6P Its apparently very lightweight. I might eventually add heavier mouse for certain games or utility.
for wireless mice, get Logitech-- their new lightspeed wireless tech has next-to-nothing input lag.
both of the following mice have the lightspeed tech:
I recommend the G305 if you want a light small-medium sized mouse with a relatively "safe" shape (many grip styles work on it, lefty friendly apart from side buttons). If you put a Energizer Ultimate Lithium AA battery in it, you can reduce the weight to 89 grams making it the lightest wireless gaming mouse to grace this earth.
If you prefer ergonomic right-handed mice, the G703 is the way to go. The nice part is the G703 also supports the wireless charging mat if you're into that type of thing.

The G305 lightspeed is a much better deal imo. Very similar shape, lighter weight, and same sensor for $50
Only downside is its missing buttons on the right side.
lol why is everyone so quick to downvote? Are two buttons and a charging port really worth that extra $60 to you? At least the hivemind agrees this is a shit deal.
