Logitech do some nice comfortable headsets like this one which is $38

I had the next model up which I really liked. Not sure on that one.

Ah, I've got a two plug version, g230. Decent sound and comfort but not sealed, plus my glasses hold the seal open. Does your mic have 2 sides: inside towards mouth and outside towards room? You'll need removable tape, but cover the outside one entirely, and cover at least 80% of the inside mic opening. DIY I know... Whatever...

I'll have to look at the box but I think it amps the ambient room noise so if something happens in the room you will be able to hear it and be safe. Hence the sensitivity of the mic.

Otherwise I'd be looking for the mic volume control as distinct from the rest, somewhere in windows.

I use a mixer Yamaha ag03 that handles it. But I'm going to get the add-on adapter in this Amazon listing (purchased together) so it ports to USB functions for the audio controls. These headphones need something extra to be better.

what's a good, high quality headset (with mic) for zoom calls?

I need something with decent audio but especially a good mic since I'm now teaching online. I might also use it for gaming.

Budget is preferably $50 or less, but willing to go up to 70.

Is this the same model? Amazon price history shows it's usually $40, so this is kind of a deal if you need a cheap, decent headset.
