Had it look this one up :P. Is it essentially the G403 shape? I have one of those lying around that I paracorded. Going to swap back to it now :)
This guy right here looks amazing. I avoided trying it out due to it's inferior sensor.
By silent mouse I guess you mean one that just has queit clicks. From what I know, most gaming mice as in logitech and corsair tend to have fairly loud clicks. Honestly dude i'd recommend getting something like this https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Hyperion-Gaming-Fusion-910-004069/dp/B00LZVNWIA/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1514066562&sr=1-1&keywords=logitech+g402 .
It may not have 'silent' clicks but its a solid mouse that is fairly cheap given the quality. Given that the one above is $17 and this one is $34, this is a great choice since you'll pay double the money and it'll likely last you upwards of 3-4 years if you don't throw it around.
This may not have been that useful but meh.
I literally just use this Haven't taken a big adventure with gaming mice but considering the last mouse I used was a standard Logitech wireless mouse this is a big step up! I like the sensitivity buttons. Makes it very useful when playing Overwatch and I have to switch heroes. Other than that, standard gaming mouse.
Alright, hear me out.
In October 2015, someone posted a link here for discounted 2013 Deathadders on Amazon. I ordered one, it came after like 3 weeks shipping from Asia, box was pretty banged up but I didn't think much of it(Mistake). Back then, my G400 was giving me some trouble with disconnecting randomly but it fixed itself after a while so I put the Deathadder aside and would wait until my G400 would simply RIP.
Now, my G400 lasted basically until this week where I decided to finally use my Deathadder only to realize that it was a fake one and obviously Amazon can't do shit 1 year and a half later so I'm stuck with a cheap ass mouse in the meantime I find a proper replacement.
I've seen the Logitech G402 on sale here and as someone who has loved his G400/Deathadders in the past, would I like this? I'm not too sure about the shape and the buttons kinda look annoying but hey, it's not too expensive. Thoughts or better deals anywhere else?
Thanks!
The Logitech G402 is one of the most go-to gaming mice on the market. I personally prefer Roccat, Razer, or Corsair. However, I have no qualms with Logitech.
The G402 is a solid mouse for the price. They're going for $42 USD on Amazon right here.
The 502 is a tad bit more expensive, but you get 12,000 DPI (Over 4,000) as well as the custom weights.
I was looking into this mouse and found a newer version at amazon link. it also seems to be around a little cheaper ($44.5 atm which seems to be the average price).
I would prefer not to buy a razer product after all the negative reviews and comments about them on this subreddit. Personally I would go with a logitech mouse like this
I have to 100% recommend a mechanical keyboard though, and would personally skimp out on the mouse in favor of a mechanical keyboard if the price hits over 100. Tenkeyless ones (no numpad) generally go for cheaper.
nice keyboard. I'm getting my G710 in a couple of days ( i like blues). Try this mouse.
Hard to say for sure. They are both good mice and quite similar. Grip wise is almost the same, the 402 has a larger back side and is a little wider than the 502. If you are palming the mouse, you might like the thumb buttons on the 402 better.
502 is definitely heavier. It’s noticeable, but the change in feel is not drastic, even less drastic with a palm grip. I notice the weight more with a fingertip grip. But, it’s there, and you can feel it.
402 is on sale right now on Amazon. You could just get one for yourself. link
That's not the greatest write up about it, I'm watching IEM. If you want me to clarify/expand on something, let me know. Just wanted to get this out to you since that sale is time sensitive.
Edit: Lift off distance on 402 is not adjustable, and to me feels high. If you adjusted the lift off of the 502 at all, be warned that that is not an option on the 402.
Absolutely one of the best mice I have ever used, and this is the cheapest this mouse has ever been.
Another of their gaming mice, the Logitech G402 Hyperion Fury is also a great mouse and $29.95, although I'm not a big fan of the aesthetics.
Can really only comment on the mouse I have currently, since its my first real gaming mouse... but the Logitech g402 is pretty awesome. I'd imagine the 502 is excellent too, but in case you want to save a few extra bucks the step down is pretty dang good
Ye, thats what i meant. :D Well, my mice have 3 setup with Dpis, 240, 400 and 1080 which I set by myself..
In windows and other games I uses 1080, but in GO I uses 400, the first 4-5 minutes in a casual or DM I'm getting used to it, but from there, I just quicker reactions, I'm mainly playin with AWP, and because of the 1000 Hz the mouse is updating more pr. sec. than a average 500 Hz mouse. That might have something to do with it. :D
A perfect mouse is worth everything. :D Im using the Logitech G402 Hyper Fusion
Before writing off your Deathadder: Try a different USB port. Try reinstalling Synapse.
Now nothing is really considered "budget" that maintains the ergonomics of the Deathadder.
The G402 goes on sale for $30 now and then.
Well the monitor seems like a winner. I can't speak about the quality or anything like that but that price for a 1440p 60+HZ monitor is crazy. I saw a Linus video a while back where he covered a monitor with similar specs that costed as much as 4k monitors.
For the headset: Logitech is a solid brand for peripherals, so I wouldn't be surprised if it's a great headset. Just do some YouTube searches to make sure, watch/read some reviews.
If you want a mouse: I'd steer you in the direction of the Logitech G402 or G502 if you want to go slightly over budget. If you want to stick with Razer (you mentioned that you had a Naga) you can get a Deathadder. If you have big hands then this mouse is great, Razer's software is fantastic and you get what you paid for. (though others disagree)
A mouse with a couple of programmable buttons and customized sensitivity should net you better performance than upgrading to a new keyboard. I have a Logitech G400 but they were discontinued. The new one is the Logitech G402 and I think it's great for the money. You can play with the horizontal and vertical sensitivities to your liking and set hotkey combinations to the side buttons.

yeah the g402 is $22 on amazon and pretty much everywhere. Pretty nice mouse, just a bit long for my 18cm hands and the two side buttons are a bit farther back than most mice.
Don't En Passant these deals.

FYI - same price on amazon.

Don't make a Rook*ie mistake, check the prices.

Take this opportunity to get a better mouse!!!
Go with the Logitech G402 Hyperion Fury FPS Gaming Mouse
https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-G402-Hyperion-Gaming-Mouse/dp/B00LZVNWIA
Under $40 on amazon right now!
The g402 looks pretty similar and is well rated. Steelseries and corsair have similar mice as well.
https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Hyperion-Gaming-Fusion-910-004069/dp/B00LZVNWIA
Got to this Amazon page
Much better off getting a Logitech G402: https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Hyperion-Gaming-Fusion-910-004069/dp/B00LZVNWIA
Will last a lot longer than a Razer mouse (their quality control has been pathetic for years)
Theres this
I'd be looking at the entry level 1080p 144Hz monitors. Like https://jet.com/product/Acer-GN246HL-BBID-24-inch-Wide-Screen-LED-Monitor/0d71c51df29b4d3da77fbea292536537 could also use triple15 code to save 15% on it.
For rather cheap & good mouse: https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Hyperion-Gaming-Fusion-910-004069/dp/B00LZVNWIA/ref=sr_1_1?s which is what I'm using myself actually.
IF you rather have less buttons, a Logitech G402 is nice too. Sturdy and precise, and very comfortable.
https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Hyperion-Gaming-Fusion-910-004069/dp/B00LZVNWIA
I'm happy with my G402, seems to be $37 atm, so a bit over your budget: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00LZVNWIA
For $102 you could get a G402 + magicforce 68.
I recently got a Logitech G402 and I'm very happy with it. I think people here tend to recommend the G502 but for me it wasn't worth the price difference.
I don't really play bullet but if I did I would go with something like this:
https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Hyperion-Gaming-Fusion-910-004069/dp/B00LZVNWIA
The g402 is really similar and not flashy at all thats probably what your looking for.. its like the budget version of the g502. https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Hyperion-Gaming-Fusion-910-004069/dp/B00LZVNWIA
G402 is 30 is US https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00LZVNWIA
G402 + magicforce 68 would work, if you don't need the numpad.
G402 also on sale for similar price.
If all your weights are removed, I don't know of any real way to make it feel lighter. You'll probably get used to it, but if not, there are models similar to the G502:
G402 Hyperion Fury. Designed for fast movement. Looks lighter, but can't confirm.
G303 Daedalus Apex. Not sure, but I think this one was designed for budget. Regardless, it looks much lighter.
Before you buy a different mouse though, wait for someone who's used the G402 and G303 to confirm what I assume, or someone else to have a solution.
Based on 20+ years of PC gaming... Don't skimp out on peripherals too much, and especially the mouse. Both your performance in games and the health of your wrists will profit massively.
If you only have $60, buy a good mouse first (a Logitech G402, maybe - great performance, decent features, and many people find the shape very comfortable), it should leave you a few bucks for any basic keyboard to get by with until you save up for a decent one.
At around $70-90 you can get something like Coolermaster QuickFire Storm Rapid, which is a basic, but decent mechanical keyboard. There are versions with different Cherry MX switch types, to suit your preference.
I'm very happy with my current mouse
http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Hyperion-Gaming-Fusion-910-004069/dp/B00LZVNWIA
you should check out this mouse: http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Hyperion-Gaming-Fusion-910-004069/dp/B00LZVNWIA/ref=dp_ob_title_ce
its supposed to be like the "updated" version of the mx518.
I'm a student as well, on a student's budget. My setup has served me super well and not broken any banks yet.
I've been using Logitech's Hyperion Fury and I love it for everything. It's a "gaming mouse", but perfect for anything you could want. Super comfortable too.
I also have been using a Small Wacom tablet. It can be really helpful (it was mostly purchased for drawing on the side though).
Hyperion Fury: http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Hyperion-Gaming-Fusion-910-004069/dp/B00LZVNWIA
Wacom: https://www.wacom.com/en-us/store/pen-tablets/intuos-draw-white
Honestly, if you want a decent mech. keyboard, you should save up for a bit longer. You could probably get a nice mouse though. This one's pretty good: http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Hyperion-Gaming-Fusion-910-004069/dp/B00LZVNWIA
I have a Logitech G402 and is the best mouse I have ever owned. Perfect for FPSs. http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Hyperion-Gaming-Fusion-910-004069/dp/B00LZVNWIA
Anyone have any thoughts on this for a palm grip mouse?
I've been considering this or the g402 which is about the same price.
Loved the MX518 and have been using a razor orochi lately, but it really hurts my hand as I prefer palm grip. Man I miss the MX518...
http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Hyperion-Gaming-Fusion-910-004069/dp/B00LZVNWIA
That is a really good mouse, logitech quality
If you can scrounge up another $5 I'd recommend that you look into the Logitech G402. The G402 should have full OS X support, including the G Software. Though, I have not tested this myself. So, if someone has tested this they would give better insight on it.
Edit: Also you could try out some third part apps such as SteerMouse and USB Overdrive for customization and button assignment.
here's what I use. perhaps a little more than you'd want for a casual mouse, but it's a seriously great mouse. tons of great reviews from all types of gamers.
Hope this helps!

http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Hyperion-Gaming-Fusion-910-004069/dp/B00LZVNWIA
Looks like its a similar shape. I personally prefer the shape of the G502 which is a little more mounded
The 502 also has a slightly more advanced sensor and a few other things (like a braided cable) but it is 50% more expensive.
Also look at the Zowie EC1-A or the Logitech G-402 for palm grip.
I use Logitech's G502 Proteus Core, which I love. It's pretty close to $70, though. The G402 Hyperion Fury is a little less expensive and very good as well.
Might as well get a g402 then, its on sale for about the same price http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Hyperion-Gaming-Fusion-910-004069/dp/B00LZVNWIA
Not really. Its very heavy for fingertip use. It could work, but i think palm/claw grip fits it best.
You might wanna look at Roccat Pyra, or the g402.
Or if you like Razer, Orochi. Maybe the CM Alcor since its so light, but I have no idea how good the CM storm drivers are.
Cheap and reliable? You have to pay to play, son. Here. https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Hyperion-Gaming-Fusion-910-004069/dp/B00LZVNWIA
Price match it. Logitech is very reliable and they use good sensors
So, just putting this out there, the G Pro seems to be replacing the G402 ($70 is about where the G402 launched at, and now the price has trended down to about $36 on Amazon). If you're looking an entry level gaming mouse, it's a steal. Especially since there's no tax and free 1 day shipping on it.
