all expensive mouse are kinda the same what matter is how long you used it and if you have 2 years with g403 and you like the shape and stuff you should just keep using it, that thing on the pic is probably because you hit it with something or w/e, as long as you only use it to aim it should not break (the new version probably has better build quality and a much better sensor amazon)
just the sensor will make it feel like a new mouse trust me
thats what i would do
$34.99 for literally the exact same shape. Refurbished you can get for like $25 or something. Otherwise, if you're really going to nitpick over that extra $15 no one here knows what to tell you buddy lol. People on this sub routinely spend $100+ on mice, and many have more than one...
Wait for the Zowie EC1-C to start being manufactured again.
In the meantime, try either the Logitech G403, Razer Deathadder V2, or Corsair Sabre Pro since they're quite inexpensive...
Rather have a G403 or Deathadder V2 for that price, personally. All three mice are permanently on sale in the $40 price range, so you aren't getting a "deal" buying any of them at this price -- it's normal.

£2000 / $2676 is a huge budget for your set up, and you have a lot more options than you might think. The first decision will be if you prefer to go with a laptop or a desktop; there's pretty obvious pros and cons to both, but the biggest would be mobility. Being able to take your machine anywhere, to the school studio or to work if you prefer to use your own machine is important to consider.
PCPartPicker is a widely used site that arranges all PC parts with prices, avalability, etc all in one place so that you can put together your build. The area we'll be using, though, are the Build Guides. Here offer the most up to date builds with the most current parts at th ebest possible price.
It's important to understand the amount of power you'll realistically need for architecture and related work. The
The £1120 / $1500 Build is probably where you'll want to stop in tems of build organization for architecture and related work. The only modification I would make, is having 32GB or 64GB of RAM instead of 16GB, trust me. 16GB is simply not very much when you are doing heavy photoshop and or illustrator. Think of it like the amount of space you are giving yourself to work in a room, you need more room for larger, more intense and more important projects.
With the remaining budget, I would look at getting a really good mouse. Too many people use too many cheap mouses that only hurt your productivity. TheLogitech G403, Razer Viper Ultimate, are suberb. Two monitors would also be ideal if you have space for them. As for monitors, color accuracy and image quality are what is important. The LG-24MP88HV is great, 1440p, 60hz (you dont need more), and good color accurancy for the price tag. If you can only have 1 monitor, The Samsung U32R590 is a 32'' 4k panel that is stellar for the price. 4k will offer the best color accuracy of all image resolutions.

>I've always liked the idea of VR, too.
This PC is definitely VR capable. Maybe not max settings in games like Half-life Alyx though
>I already have a wireless keyboard and mouse,
I looked at what you have, and...well I'd recommend replacing them as soon as possible. The latency on cheaper wireless peripherals isn't very good, and you'll probably want something better anyway. I'd recommend this mouse and this keyboard (those are what I have, they're both great)
>2TB SSD
Uh no, not unless you wanna max out your budget
>an 8GB video card
Why? 6GB is totally fine, unless you plan on playing at 4k or something lol
>preferably white theme, with no window
Unfortunately I couldn't find any micro ATX cases that were white, and decent quality, but this case is pretty good, and it's windowless
>Windows
