Sorry if this is off-topic, but have you taken a look at a mouse with buttons on the side such as the Logitech G600? I get a lot of use out of mine and can play PoE 1-handed at full effectiveness. It might particularly help with the flask issue.
100% this. This has been my mouse for years and years, preceded by a Razer Naga that lasted maybe 6 months, and this is half the price. It will completely change the way you play for the better.
Logitech G600 MMO Gaming Mouse, RGB Backlit, 20 Programmable Buttons https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0086UK7IQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_GIJiCb85SHKFH
Copy pasta FTW. You want to go to the next level? You want to go over 9000? Get one of these bad boys right here. 12 programmable buttons and a shift key to double the functional number. You also get three "modes" for a total of 72 saved templates. I have one mode for normal use, one mode for grading/emails, and one for gaming.
They on Sale right now on Amazon for ~$42 Brand new. Got mine a week ago. Cause my G700s just doesnt have enough buttons for me anymore. Still love it cause its wireless though.
Use this mouse. It's my go to and the buttons on the side are programmable, with a g-shift button that changes them to a different layout so the 12 buttons are really 24 buttons. It takes minimal movement, it would just be your thumb. If you end up getting it I can send you my UI layout that I use with it for XIV and my keybinds (they can be a bit finnicky if you don't get them just right)
Edit: it goes on sale very often! So if you don't like the price now, you may be able to get a better price in the near future.
I've used the Logitech G600 for years. Only just bought a replacement a few weeks ago after 4 years of hard use and only because it was on sale and I figured "why not?"
> back when I still clicked in MMO's lol.
I was gonna comment on that lol. First time I played an MMO, WoW back in 2012, was largely by clicking and rebinding hotkeys. After two weeks I bought a 12 button MMO mouse. Still using that same exact one and I can't imagine playing any of my MMOs without it.
If it's in your budget, I'd strongly recommend getting an MMO mouse like this one. It has a dozen -- literally a dozen! -- buttons along the side that you press with your mouse-hand thumb, which frees up your keyboard hand (somewhat) to focus on movement. In practice, you'll still need to bind the keyboard keys near the movement keys to cover all of your abilities, but you can assign those keys to abilities you use less frequently (meaning ones that have longer cooldowns), and assign your main rotational moves to the mouse buttons.
It's a little hard to get used to at first -- 12 buttons is a lot for one digit -- but after a few hours, if you're anything like me, you'll be wondering how you even played before.
Once you get pretty comfortable, I'd also recommend starting to look into using the modifier keys -- shift, ctrl, and alt (in case you weren't aware) -- through macros. Macros are their own separate (and large) subject, but setting up a few to use modifier keys isn't too difficult, and they'll essentially multiply the number of buttons/keys you have available for stuff.
Oh, and definitely rebind the keyboard-turning keys as others have suggested -- I actually forgot that was a thing, since it's basically the first thing I did.
My bestbuy stopped carrying it as well. I wanted to go in and try it again, but the only mmo mouse it had was the corsair - not even the naga!
Amazon (US) had a promotion for it two weeks ago now, a 24h flash sale when it went down to $29.99, and it got sold out for about a few hours (until the promo ended) - the UK one might be feeling a ripple from that, or hasn't restocked as fast/seen as much interest in it?
I will say though, I joked with a friend that maybe the big sale means logitech is making a 600s or something though... so maybe there's something brewing?
Don't think you can just turn the game into a mouse controlled game like an action rpg.
One option would be to get a gaming mouse with lots of side buttons. They used to be fairly popular in World of Warcraft's heyday, hence the name "mmo gaming mouse". Here's an example of the first mouse that showed up on Amazon. You could map all the keyboard buttons to the mouse and effectively have both the mouse and the keyboard functionality on the mouse.
Most classes are going to require a similar amount of input, whether they're GCD-capped or Energy-capped. Sadly, I'm not sure that switching specs or classes is going to solve your issue. I think it's more a problem of control scheme and keybindings.
I'm of the opinion that any serious WoW player could benefit from an MMO mouse, but I think it's especially true for you. The Logitech G600 is a fantastic tool, and you can get one for about $50 on Amazon.
This would allow you to put all of your main abilities under your right thumb, leaving your left hand responsible only for WASD, Shift, Space, and maybe Q/E/R/F or any other buttons you find comfortable to reach. Might be something to look into if the standard control scheme is uncomfortable for you.
I’m also new and don’t know if this would help but you should consider getting a gaming mouse one that has the programmable buttons for the action bar I will add a link because this might not translate well
Razer and Corsair make similar mouses but as far as I know neither of them have the ring finger click that the G600 does, it's just so damn good for push to talk.
Get one of this if you don't already have an mmo mouse. I use it for my abilities/food then use keyboard for equipment/prayer flicks Logitech G600 MMO Gaming Mouse https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0086UK7IQ?ref_=cm_sw_r_apan_dp_Z7GS6HTM3MC9X7QGXSXA
Can have multiple profiles for it as well.
Logistic’s mmo mouse. Has 12 thumb button mapped to the top row of the keyboard.
To enhance it in WoW, I used a program that let me set up three 3 x 4 groups of ability buttons. The first grid is the thumb buttons, second is shift+thumb buttons, third is CTRK+thumb buttons. I could even move abilities around and add new ones without worrying about memorizing the layout. I’d just glacé at the grid and could move my thumb to the right button.
It also works great in other games. Having access to those buttons with my thumb makes a lot of things easier when playing.
You can get the mouse in white or black. Here is the Amazon link which just shows the black, but I have two on my desk and one is white.

I don't like it. To me it's over priced buttons that you have to take your hand off the mouse to use, which is slowing you down. I start all my PC apps and programs with my mouse. I also have it set to switch to buttons i set up for the adobe program i happen to be in and it will switch back in forth depending on which app is up and clicked on. The mouse has 12 buttons with a shift key so 24 and 3 profiles for each program so I can have 72 buttons total for one program. Speeds up editing photos a lot once you get the hang of it and the muscle memory down. I also use it for every game I play. I never move my hand off the movement keys and do everything else with my mouse. Best part it's a 40 dollar mouse that I bought a few of cause I was scared of them stopping production on it. Logitech G600 - On Amazon
I can't live without my Logitech G600. My favorite MMO mouse by far. The side buttons feel okay (not mechanical or anything), but that ring finger button up top is great, and the shape is very comfortable for my medium sized hands (I'm a woman with normal sized palms and longish fingers, for hand size reference). I bound dodge to the ring finger key and now I have no idea how I'll play if they ever discontinue the mouse and my current one breaks, it'll take ages to get used to keyboard dodging again lol
Out of production Logitech G600 MMO Mouse. I bought 5 of them so when they break I have a replacement.
12 buttons on the thumb with programmable macros that can be changed per application. Also a shift button that doubles the amount of thumb buttons available.
Basically, it allows you to carry over functionality between applications on the same button without having to learn a lick of programming.
You want to measure the distance of something in Revit, Navisworks, or Autocad? Assign those commands to the same button and turn on the application switch feature and you now have a single button to measure everything.
It's also pretty durable and ergonomic.
this is what i was going to recommend. This one functions the same and is far cheaper. Its the mouse i use and Ive had it for a year. Its great!
I use the Logitech G600 and am pretty happy with it. You can bind the side keys to whatever you want, whether duplicating keys, using unused ones, or combos like shift + num pad or something. I also play some MMOs, though, and get decent mileage out of the side buttons.
I've used some Razers in the past, but find they get sticky double click issues pretty quickly, whereas I've had this one almost three years now with no issues.
I used to love Naga, but the quality has really gone down. I "upgraded" to newer models like a year ago and so did my husband, BOTH Nagas had ghosting left/right click issues that we couldn't resolve. It got me killed several times in ultimate since I frequently use left+right to run forward while dodging mechanics.
Logitech G600 is much cheaper, and it's built sturdy as hell. I have small hands but I have no issue reaching everything here, and the side buttons have some shapes and tactile bumps that make it easy to know where your thumb is.

Highly recommend for anyone looking into a Naga to check this out.
Okay. Here me out. Fully:
Logitech G600 Mouse. $35.
Why?
My old man was intimidated by it but once I plugged it in, it became a must have. I've probably purchased four of them between moves and literally giving them away to friends and family. Dirt cheap too.
The Logitech MMO Mouse might work, it has a set of 12 buttons on the side, plus three different shift keys to make that like 36 buttons. Takes a bit of work to get used to, but it's nice.
Also it's on sale for $35 right now.
Dude, did you even look at prices?
That's not an office mouse...
I'd invest in a Logitech G600, which you can get for just $34.99. Either on Amazon and have it shipped, or in stores at places like Best Buy (also $34.99 in store).
It's cheap, has 12 fully programmable side buttons, uses Logitechs phenomenal software, has a G-Shift key (modifies all the buttons to do another thing when you hold it down), and the scroll wheel can be pressed left and right in addition to being clicked and scrolled.
I love the beast. Plus the scroll wheel left/right is great for browsing and going back/forward.
My wife and I have been using this mouse from Logitech for about two years now and its been great while also not being expensive. Just an idea if you're looking into them.
Here is another vote for getting an MMO gaming mouse. I have this one by Logitech and it’s great. Allows me to use light attack, block, and all my skill abilities with the mouse, and my left hand on the keyboard can take care of movement, potions, and bar swapping.
The game is playable completely with only a mouse, although it takes a bit of work. As opposed to a one handed keyboard though, I think an MMO mouse with a ton of extra buttons like this one https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0086UK7IQ/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_KQHSJWVKGDYFYJG92N8G?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 would be the best option for playing with only one hand. With practice she shouldn't be much slower than other players. Even if she does struggle a bit, the FFXIV community tends to have a lot more kindness and patience than most MMOs!
The key to mouse only play is that you can move the camera with right click, left click to activate actions on your hotbar or target enemies, middle click to autorun, and right + left click together will move you in the direction the camera is facing while you're holding them (I find this super useful for small movements to avoid boss attacks). This actually covers most of the things you need to do to play.
In addition, any actions you need to use often enough that you don't want to have to manually click them on your hotbar can be bound to one of the many buttons on the MMO mouse! Picking a class with slightly less actions on their hotbar can make this simpler.
Feel free to DM me if she needs any help setting up good UI layouts, macros, and mouse button bindings to make the whole thing easier. I have spent way too much time learning how do make them. Or if she just needs someone to run a dungeon or trial with.
Logitech G600 MMO Gaming Mouse, RGB Backlit, 20 Programmable Buttons https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0086UK7IQ/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_RYZ9ZYZXQPBE4S4XJMFS?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I ordered this one. The first picture they have is the old mouse ,but the rest of them are the newer one so idk if they give the newer one everytime.
Others have said it, but go to Interface in the menu and there should be an Action Bar tab. Check all the boxes that turn on the "ghost" bars. There should be one above the 1-0 default bar and two on the far right side of your screen stacked vertically. I usually put the situational/summon spells on the right side and don't even bother to bind them. I also only have one curse button that's usually curse of agony and then swap it with another curse for group scenarios. You can only have one going anyway.
Also not sure if you want to spend the money on this, but I use (this mouse)[Logitech G600 MMO Gaming Mouse, RGB Backlit, 20 Programmable Buttons https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0086UK7IQ/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_XD3X9TRYSM40HA7V1672] for extra keybinds. There's a Warcraft mode which binds to your numpad keys and gives you a LOT more freedom. Just make sure you don't have NumLock on after you auto walk haha.
This, or the Logitech G600, though? I dunno, I've got the G600 and am mostly happy with it besides the fact that I have the stupid sticker cover on the bottom that I have to remove every few months so I can clean out the cat fur from the wheel (it ends up getting stuck, long furred cats are annoying, lol). I can't quite tell if this one would have the same issue. The DPI going higher doesn't matter to me, since I am not using it to hair-trigger across 5 screens in a half inch flick of my wrist, I'm primarily just using it to game - FPS, MMO, MOBA etc.
Any time I see someone using 1-= I assume they're using an mmo mouse like the Logitech G600 and not actually pushing those buttons.
Taking this in a bit of a different direction, I’ve never used one myself, since I’m left-handed, but they make computer mice with keys on them, like this. I don’t know if the one I picked was even good, so maybe don’t pick that one, but I’m sure it would open up a lot of options for your friend to have something like this while his wrist is broken.
As for a recommendation, maybe Fire Emblem?
I also switched from PlayStation to PC, about 4 months ago. I bought this MMO gaming mouse by Logitech and it is amazing. I have all my skills mapped to my right thumb buttons 1-5, and then I have my ultimate mapped to the bottom right thumb button (G20) so I don’t hit it on accident when I don’t want to. That way my left hand is just doing movement, bar swapping, and drinking potions. My right hand is doing all the light attacks, blocking, and skills. Highly recommend.
That's what's really crazy. Same with so many mice. I was going to get a Corsair mouse to match my keyboard but kept reading about major issues with it. My Razer Naga held out for quite a long time but eventually clicking and holding would be very inconsistent. Ended up getting a Logitech G600. Software is absolute ASS in comparison to Razer (and even Corsair somehow) but for the money it's been good. Can't go without the side buttons after so long with them. Honestly not sure how PC gamers go without them. It's stunning how uncommon these mice are when games are requiring more and more buttons.
I came here just to suggest this:
https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Gaming-Backlit-Programmable-Buttons/dp/B0086UK7IQ/
A programmable gaming mouse with 12 side buttons, and a "switch" click button on the right side that you can press/hold to swap the macros on the buttons, meaning it technically has 24 side buttons.
I'm not disabled, just super lazy. I usually set the top three to 'A', 'W', and 'D', the second row to 'Q', 'S' and 'E', and the last six to number keys.
Game on bro.
EDIT: Oh, it also has tilt buttons on the scroll wheel, I usually set that so that tilting it left causes the sensitivity to lower, and tilting right causes it to raise.
Super helpful, but I don't like my left hand leaving WASD, Shift and Space. If you prefer using the keyboard then an ordinary mouse would do.
Bonus - If it's something simple like questing, you can essentially play one-handed while using your left hand to eat/draw/jackoff/whatever.
Edit - Just wanted to add that I've been using a Logitech G600 for a couple of years now. There are several mice with 12 buttons, but the G600 also has an 'extra right click'. If you map that to CTRL, you essentially have 24 buttons at your thumbtip!
Logitech G600 shoutout. I refuse to buy Razer Nagas anymore because the right click and scroll wheel went out on 3 different mice.
I think this is the best one: Logitech G600
It's less expensive than most 12 button MMO mice and it has a third finger click (ring finger) that I bind to be ctrl. It makes it so with one hand I have access to 24 spells. What I normally do though is program the top 6 buttons to rotation/CDs and what not. Then I use the bottom 6 for things like mount, hearthstone, flasks, etc. The bottom six on any 12 button MMO mouse are kind of difficult to utilize because you have to change hand position to use either the top 6 or bottom six.
Just get this mouse. It will change your life if you like keyboard shortcuts/hot keys without touching the keyboard. I swear I am twice as fast in fusion (and other apps) with this mouse.
Logitech G600 MMO Gaming Mouse, RGB Backlit, 20 Programmable Buttons https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0086UK7IQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_i_zrU6FbMSC4XT0?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I had to import a G600 from Amazon US recently, just got it a few weeks ago. I honestly don't know what I'll do if I can't use the G600 anymore.
There's still a fair bit of stock floating around, fortunately. Just not in Australia it seems. https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Gaming-Backlit-Programmable-Buttons/dp/B0086UK7IQ/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1523617052&sr=8-1&keywords=Logitech+G600&dpID=418gvV8MoTL&preST=_SX300_QL70_&dpSrc=srch
Why Logitech has abandoned this mouse completely is beyond me, I've been using it for nearly 7 years now & don't intend to stop until there's an equivalent to replace it, closest thing I found was the Corsair Scimitar (pretty much the only other brand I trust as much as Logitech) but apparently it's scroll wheel doesn't have a back & forward function which I use a fair bit. I've also had iffy experiences with Corsair's software, not to say Logitech's is perfect but they're nowhere near as bad.
Ironically, I made the same mistake you did in buying a Razer product (My g600 was wearing down hard, I was getting desperate leave me alone), I bought the wireless Naga, used it for 5-10 mins & returned it to the shop the next day.
I'm also getting tempted to literally buy about 5 of them to store away so I can use them for the next 50 years.
I took got hold of it from Amazon. I’m in Mexico though. Went to the US store and it was $30usd down from 80, and it was only $4 for the shipping, so $34 usd total.
Logitech G600 MMO Gaming Mouse, RGB Backlit, 20 Programmable Buttons https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0086UK7IQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_w6zpDbRGCQAW6
Brand new is also available on Amazon: $27.99
I use this mouse, and bought it for a good bit more a couple years ago. Great mouse if you are into buttons.
https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Gaming-Backlit-Programmable-Buttons/dp/B0086UK7IQ I cannot recommend this mouse enough! I have purchased it as gifts multiple times and the lifespan has gone 5+ years with good build quality. It has RGB, but you can just turn it off you don't like it. It gives a lot of flexibility with the program that's built for the mouse, you can set up the 12 programmer keys on the side to like anything. They can run any key on the keyboard, macros, you can set them to toggle like (press x every 5 seconds for 50 seconds or press x every 5 seconds til I toggled off, etc). It's also on sale right now and is totally worth it.
May I recommend a mouse with buttons on the side? One of those MMO mice that you can modify the keybinds on.
Logitech G600 MMO Mouse, 20 Programmable Buttons https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0086UK7IQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_-7MsFbCTY4PPR
This is the one I use. Although it’s primarily used for MMOs, I utilize the keybinds in nearly every game I play including RimWorld. There are also similar mice that are wireless if the cord is an inconvenience.
Either way, I hope you beat your boredom and that your back gets better.
I highly recommend getting an MMO mouse like the G600; it is very useful even outside of gaming.
Dodge is very important, so wherever you can easily hit it is best. And disable double-tap to dodge, to prevent misfires.
Rebind A and D to strafe left and right instead of rotate. You can rotate with your mouse.
After that, just bind your skill keys to whatever feels natural. I have weapon skills 2-5 on QERX and weapon swap on Z. My 6-0 skills are bound to the extra buttons on my mouse.
You can also use modifiers like Ctrl+Q, Shift+Q, Ctrl+Shift+Q to get more actions within easy reach.
A mouse with a bunch of thumb buttons might help, Logitech G600 is an example. I bought a cheapy one from amazon for around $30 USD, its software isn't great but its certainly more than usable.
Logitech G600. Going four years strong using it, best mouse I can possibly recommend, especially at its comparatively inexpensive pricepoint. Currently it's under $40USD on Amazon. 12 thumb buttons, on-the-fly keymap switching, left/right scroll wheel tilt, ring-finger click, it's a godsend. If you bind ring-click to "Shift", shift-clicking is smooth af. The lights are subtle and non-obstructive, the mouse's entire design if very comfortable to hold, there's never any issue utilizing the many buttons it has, just a 100% enhancement to gameplay. Imagine your left hand only having to use abilities and your right hand managing food and switches. Splitting up all that functionality will greatly enhance efficiency. Oh! And the button just under the mode switch, bind it to space and you can spacebar through quests EZPZ one-handed. I can't possibly sing enough praise about this mouse, it's legit stupidly incredible for how cheap it is.
My favorite setup is an MMO mouse, the ones with a 12 key numpad on the side because you don't need to move your fingers away from your movement keys to use abilities. Classes in this game usually use up to 25-30 keys with some like Scholar maxing out 36 keybinds, so 3 hotbars assigned to the side buttons, a plain one, shift, and ctrl or alt depending on your preference, work great for me. But there's also standalone numpads you can buy that's just a numpad on its own, you could put that on either side of your setup and use it. In general those would be a cheaper option but not much better unless you'd also intend to move your movement keys to it.
The g600 is currently on sale on amazon: link. It gets generally favorable reviews but i have had issues in the past with buttons going out (namely the third mouse button). My favorite feature of it is onboard memory profiles, I was able to switch from PC to PS4 and the mouse would remember my custom keybinds. Definitely register it for the warranty, though.
It looks a little intimidating. But worth every penny! https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Backlit-Programmable-Buttons-910-002864/dp/B0086UK7IQ/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?adgrpid=60084729110&hvadid=274716263276&hvdev=m&hvlocphy=9010844&hvnetw=g&hvpos=1t1&hvqmt=e&hvrand=6439688507042601003...
This. I've had my G600 for a couple of months now and I love it. Before that I used a Razer Naga for a few years, but wasn't really wanting to spend that amount again (buttons had worn out and was developing issues). You can find it on Amazon for ~$30USD.
Logitech G600 MMO Gaming Mouse, RGB Backlit, 20 Programmable Buttons https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0086UK7IQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_4Cg5BbY0QK2YR
I've used this logitech mouse for years because of a modifier button built into the pinky rest, they call it the "g-shift." When holding it down it activates a second profile for each button on the mouse allowing for quick and diverse actions through the mouse. When you release the "g-shift" key the buttons return to their base profile.
Software is also easy to use to program buttons. You can even have multiple profiles set up for individual programs and games. The software can also "auto-detect" what your playing to automatically switch profiles.
I like the Logitech MMO mouse too. You can map things slightly differently from a naga (wheel can tilt side to side, for example, each tilt can be mapped). Logitech’s software is some of the least aggravating out there. But their MMO mouse is pretty big and not modular, so sometimes it annoys my right hand after a while (small/female hands).
Tried the Corsair one, really didn’t like it or their software, it went back to Best Buy.
I swap between Nagas (currently the cordless epic from about six years ago) and Logitech, depending on where I am.
Ugly url but not a referral link (on mobile).

Your friend should buy a mouse like this one:
Logitech G600 MMO Gaming Mouse, RGB Backlit, 20 Programmable Buttons (910-002864) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0086UK7IQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_b-8YBbNG8D3KS
It's got tons of buttons so you can do a lot with one hand. POE is mostly mouse controlled but some spells and your life/mana flasks are tied to keyboard buttons, I imagine something like this would help a lot not just for this game but many others.
keyboard/mouse with a 12 button mmo mouse will give you 12 easily accessible buttons. use shift for another set of 12 and alt/control for a third set. You now have 36 buttons that are easily accessible.
Something like this. https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Backlit-Programmable-Buttons-910-002864/dp/B0086UK7IQ/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1537809131&sr=8-3&keywords=mmo+mouse
This is the one I use.
The reason this one outperforms others like it is because the buttons on the side are textured, making it easier to tell where your thumb IS. It also has that third mouse button that changes the function of every side button while you hold it down, like holding control. I am assuming it is your left hand that you have problems with?
It's very affordable for all the functionality, too! Less than $50 for a new one in black!
I bought a g700s because I feared having a grid mouse.
Few months later, I bought the g600 (logitech's grid mouse) so I could have a thumb rotation, and absolutely love it.
I'd highly suggest it if you want buttons. Remember, you don't have to use all the ones you have, but there's no way to use buttons you don't have :P
The profiles on those let you know where you are, plus the extra ring finger button can work as a shift, but I use it as my push to talk.
Don't forget you can use modifiers on the keybinds (shift, alt, ctrl - multiples of) to give yourself more choices. Also if you don't have one an MMO mouse, it is literally a life-changer (Logitech one I picked up). I use the mouse for all my offensive spells and save the ones around WASD for movement and interrupts/QoL stuff.
You get used to it.
I have the g600 and it took me about a week to master.
Setting up the UI so the moves are in the same position as the buttons helped. On mine the slant on the rows helps, and the inside buttons have the same notches as your F and J keys.
For the life of me I'm not sure why all mice don't have a forward and back button built in. I find normal 3 button mice to be torture devices on the 21st century.
I'd rather have a mouse with extra buttons I can program macros into Logitech G600 is nice and about 40 on prime. https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Gaming-Backlit-Programmable-Buttons/dp/B0086UK7IQ

I use this Logitech MMO mouse and love it. Has survived 1,000s of hours of gaming over 2+ years and still works like a beast. I've had the luck enough to get it at $40 each time (who knows if it actually ever stops being on sale.)
Logitech G600 MMO Gaming Mouse, RGB Backlit, 20 Programmable Buttons https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0086UK7IQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_Anx3zbQPWZC2K
Logitech G600. Cannot recommend this thing enough. Having so many buttons, ring-click and mouse tilt buttons provides incredible amounts of utility. I can tilt my mouse left and right to cycle through action bars, hotkey the ring-click to shift for extremely easy utilization of shift modifiers for "Shift +" keybinds. Had it for two years now, going on three and has yet to show any sign of performance degradation. And it's only like $40USD.
Maybe a regional thing? They are still $60 CAD on amazon.ca, which is actually $20 CAD cheaper than I bought mine. https://www.amazon.ca/Logitech-Gaming-Mouse-Black-910-002864/dp/B0086UK7IQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1501713075&sr=8-1&keywords=g600
Mine has 2 buttons behind the scroll - still has the two "push scroll wheel L or R" ones too, though;
Also, you have a 'wheel finger'? I just use my pointer when i need to roll the wheel... so the two buttons behind it are in the V beween my pointer and middle fingers.
Personally, I'm a fan of the Logitech G-600. I've used the Razer equivalent, but I gad the scroll wheel sticking issue within a year. I've had this one for about a year now, and haven't had any problems with it.
The extra button up top is actually really useful. It activates "G Shift," which basically lets you map a second set of keys to your mouse while you're holding it down. So the left side buttons? They are my standard 1 to =, plus my ctrl+1 to ctrl+= as well. That lets me keep my pinky on the shift key for easy access to a third hotbar's set of sills. That's 36 skills without really having to move my hands at all.
There are "MMO" Mouse that can have 15 or so programable buttons. https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-G600-Gaming-Mouse-Black/dp/B0086UK7IQ
Think of all the hotkey macros! The possibilities would be endless. :)
I remember the old three button mouse, I think the scroll wheel killed them. I remember using one on a SunSystems workstation.
VERY good point. Look into something like this if u want an all around good mouse(this one is even on sale!) I got mine during amazon's cyber monday sale 2~3 years back for $20. linky
My mouse the logitech G600 technically it has 12 buttons on the side but it has left mouse click right mouse click, and scroll but it also has this thing called Gshift which makes the 12 buttons into 12 totally different buttons and it has three modes that u can switch with the touch of a button so in a way it has 72 buttons plus RGB customizable DPI and alot more in my opinion the best mouse you can get plus sturdy as hell https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-G600-Gaming-Mouse-Black/dp/B0086UK7IQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1489978981&sr=8-1&keywords=g600+mmo+gaming+mouse
this is my mouse, and I love it. The reason I think it would work for your mom is that there are TWO right mouse buttons. If you program the far right mouse button to act as the RMB, and the button to the immediate right of the wheel as left mouse button, then she can just ignore the left button or even deactivate it. This way she can still rest her hand on the mouse in a way that is comfortable. The thumb buttons are also great, but obviously she can ignore them if she wants (however I have them programmed with very simple commands, cut, copy, paste, etc. very easy to program)
Op, I use the above method to great effect. I would suggest getting a 12 function mouse, like this, as it makes the game a more fun. For the macro some helpful hints are to use the showtooltip and leave the macro image blank. When you click the modifier button it will change to the image of the selected spell.
#showtooltip /cast [nomod] Cobra Shot; [mod:shift] Multishot; [mod:ctrl] Feign Death

Seems like you want something similar to this. It's on sale for $48 at the moment.
I personally use the older Logitech G700, but I don't really use the programmable buttons for MMOs.
personally i use a logitech g600. takes some getting used to but its nice for games and blender. i use it to switch layers quickly in blender and fast weapon switching in games.
This will differ from what you normally hear but for FPS games in particular, I get a lot of use out of my Logitech G600. Specifically, the 12 keys on the side are extremely convenient. I really can't overstate how helpful it is to be able to do actions like reload and interact without having to take your fingers off the WASD keys and also aim and fire at the same time. (A common question is whether it's hard to differentiate the buttons. They're shaped and tilted in such a way that it's very easy to know which is which, just like your keyboard.) The G600 in particular is a claw grip and a little small, but there are many other mice with programmable side-keys as well.
I have the logitech G600, its somewhat limited on the keys you can program into it, but for the most part it works well and its wired.
Its 42$ on sale at the moment. Alittle more clean look, many buttons and logitech is a reputable company. Defiantly exist cheaper options out there but i dont know about them. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0086UK7IQ/ref=twister_B0091I20E6?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I see you had a Naga (I owned one myself that also broke on it's own), check out the Logitech G600. Same amount of buttons on side, same layout as Naga, but with more features. It's cheaper and better built too.
I've seen the price dip to the mid $30's. I absolutely love this mouse.
Not exactly an in-game question, but I just ordered a mmo mouse (aka it has like 12 buttons on the side). Have any of you used something like that for League? Are they effective for item actives/attack move (some support games I have a LOT of actives), or am I likely just gonna end up going back to my super-generic mouse?
I'm playing on the PC with keyboard + mouse setup for ages, but when it comes to MMORPGs like FFXIV I always recommend getting an "MMO mouse" like the Logitech - G600, it makes so much easier to reach your skills with less confusion, sure you need practice to get used to it, but it's well worth your time.
I know this goes against the grain of popular gaming mice, but my favorite is the Logitech G600. http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-G600-Gaming-Mouse-Black/dp/B0086UK7IQ. Yes it was made for MMO's but it doesn't feel like that considering i really only use about 10 of them. However is has 12 buttons tightly knit together for easy access and i have a sneaky feeling i'll be using a lot of them in Squad
I got the Logitech G600 . I like it quite a bit, even if all the buttons on the side are kind of weird looking.
G600 is an amazing mouse that I recommend.
Keyboards I would say grab a good mechanical keyboard. choices on those can be subjective so I would check out /r/MechanicalKeyboards to get an idea on different kinds.
I use a Logitech G600. My only complaint is that sometimes I'll randomly not hit a button hard enough and I'll miss a skill. I think the latest model of Razer's equivalent has more clicky buttons for more consistent clicks, but don't quote me on that.
Keyboard really depends on your budget and preference for style and comfort.
For monitors, a lot of suggestions are really going to depend on what resolution your graphics card can push and the frame rates your rig is capable of. That will determine if people should suggest a higher res display like 2560x1440 or one with a higher refresh rate.
I have a Logitech G600 and it is the best mouse I've ever had. Might be a little too "light showy" for you though. I got it after my Razer Naga crapped out after 6 weeks and their customer support basically told me that they have no solution and don't care to replace it.
The num pad on the mouse makes changing weapons and such super easy, but takes a little time to get used to.
I got a Razer Naga and have some big mitts as well so I took it back to best buy and traded it in for the Logitch G600. It' exactly like the naga except large, now my man hands are happy :)
Unsolicited advice to anyone looking for a good mouse for MWO: the Logitech G600.
You can get it for below $60 and it has worked really well for me so far. It has more than enough buttons to map the various functions of your mech onto, and some of the buttons are really cool. You can flick the mousewheel sideways (I use it for heat and night vision). There is a ring finger button you can map a third weapon group onto (which I use for anything on chain fire). You can set all sorts of other functions to the 12 buttons on the side. You can change all the sensitivity settings and whatnot, and you can save three different profiles on it so you can have unique settings for specific games, web browsing, functions for spreadsheets, etc.
It's cheap. I dig it and have been pretty happy with it, and I think it works well for MWO if you are looking for a sensible alternative to the really expensive gaming mice you see marketed online.
It is about $10 over your budget, but I use a Logitech 20 button mouse and I really like it: http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-G600-Gaming-Mouse-Black/dp/B0086UK7IQ/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1422151764&sr=1-1&keywords=logitech+20+button+mouse
I have a hard time finding comfortable mice, and I can hit all the buttons on this mouse (well for 15-20 I have to slightly lift my hand).
If you have an electronics store like Fry's near by you can go test a bunch of mice and see what fits the best.
The stickers didn't really help me, and they fell off eventually. I used about 6 of the buttons before mine miraculously stopped working just over one year after I got it. If I get another one it will be the Logitech version as it has better button set-up (angling) or one with 4 or 5 buttons on the side.
I use a Logitech G600 and love it. They're also pretty cheap now

Funny, I was just reading about a topic on this last night. The thread can be found here.
Personally, I've never been in a clicking phase since I learned to use keybinds when I started out in WoW. That said, that doesn't mean I haven't improved over time.
First of all, you rarely want to reach beyond key number 5 (unless you have REALLY big hands). Personally, even 5 feels rather uncomfortable for me.
You also want to use letter keys and not just number keys. This includes Q, E, R, and T. I found that Y is too far for my fingers to reach comfortable- but again, if you have big hands it may feel comfortable enough for you.
F and G should feel very comfortable to you if you've played League of Legends (and I think most other MOBAs?) since your summoner spells are there by default, and nobody really had a problem with them being there.
Z, X, C, and V are excellent keybinds that you should use often. Since your fingers will naturally be on WASD for movement with 1-4 above that, you just have to go the opposite direction for Z-V. Some people find that B is comfortable and it really isn't that bad.
You can use shift, alt, or ctrl combinations with certain keys to have more keybinds. Shift + Numbers should be the easiest to get used to. Ctrl is also pretty good, but alt feels weird for anything beyond Alt +1 and Alt + 2.
Shift + W for Auto Run, thank me later.
F1-F4 may also feel comfortable, but my keyboard spaces them in a way that make them feel uncomfortable so I personally don't use them. I do know that they are very popular. Just make sure not to attach them to alt keys.
I've been using the tilde key (` and ~) for sprinting and mounting (alt + tilde), but I've been considering changing that key to something else.
I've heard that the Logitech G600 mouse, which has 12 buttons on the side, is very well-regarded as an excellent gaming mouse. I personally use the Razer Naga Trinity mouse which also as 12 buttons, but the quality of the mouse can feel a bit cheap. That said, I'm just too lazy to return it since it's served me well enough anyways.
Now that I've given you the what, now it's time for the how. And the answer to that is simple- practice.
Hit a dummy for an hour, take a break, then hit a dummy for another hour. Eventually it'll start feeling natural enough that you can go into a dungeon and do fine. No skill is learned through slacking off and not putting in effort, and keybinds are something you need to put a lot of effort into in order to commit them to muscle memory.
I HIGHLY recommend that you focus on using your most important skill first. If you try to include every single skill your class has, you're bound to get confused and overwhelmed which will tempt you to go back to clicking.
Push through the discomfort and it will definitely be worth the flexibility you gain.
Lastly, stretch your fingers. When getting started it will feel uncomfortable, and your fingers will probably start to get sore. You should stretch regularly, take breaks regularly, and stay hydrated. Your IRL health is more important than your ingame health, and keeping yourself healthy IRL means you perform better ingame.
Edit: As KryssaXIV mentioned in their comment, switch your A and D keys to strafe. It's awful and slow to turn your character using a keybind, and you should absolutely get used to turning your character using your mouse instead. You need to be able to turn on a dime when it comes to high level raids.
Logitech g600 all the way, had it for a few years and still works like new.
https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-G600-Gaming-Mouse-Black/dp/B0086UK7IQ
There's a direcr link to amazon, I recommend it over every single one.
The G600 I have is pretty great.
That said you can check amazon for cheaper ones as well.
Just fyi everyone the G600 is the Amazon deal of the day! Pretty good price imo
https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Backlit-Programmable-Buttons-910-002864/dp/B0086UK7IQ
On Amazon as well if anyone wants to buy there https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Gaming-Backlit-Programmable-Buttons/dp/B0086UK7IQ/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=logitech+g600&qid=1604011015&sr=8-1
You should consider the Logitech G600 instead of the naga ... The Logitech has several advantages over the naga (I used both in my MMO gaming history...) in my opinion. I have used the 2012 model of the naga - they seem to have a brand new model of the naga for 2014, I can't tell you anything about the new model, maybe it's way better.
The G600:
Here's a video of an incredibly annoying woman also comparing the two mice ...

Amazon same price.
G602? Amazon?
I use this mouse.
Logitech G600 MMO Gaming Mouse
It's wired, simple looking, comfortable and great for gaming. I have had it for years and it is still like new.
I find the buttons on the side well placed and very useful, also you can change the light settings so you can make it look suitable for an office.
there's the corsair version. I don't know of its quality though.
You could check amazon for the razer naga but they seem pretty expensive.
Then there is also the logitech version the.. Logitech G600

For all of those who love Amazon, got Amazon Gift Cards, or whatever...
Amazon price-matched this at $24.99:
I see the G600 going for [$31 on Newegg](https://www.newegg.com/logitech-910-002864-g600-usb-wired/p/N82E16826104674) and [Amazon](https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Backlit-Programmable-Buttons-910-002864/dp/B0086UK7IQ/), and I bought my Naga for around [$40 on Amazon](https://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B0788MCRGC).

I was going to say you could get another G300s, though it doesn't have as many buttons.
It's also $23 on Amazon US right now which seems to be incredibly cheap compared to most other well-known branded MMO mice.
G502 could work, as well as some MMO mouse. A quick look on Amazon brought up the Logitech G600. I think that would work quite well.
The mouse and keyboard I use. The mouse is popular with MMO players, but this was my first foray into mechanical keyboards. I specifically wanted a linear feel and didn't want tactile or clicky... if you haven't looked into the depths of keyboards be prepared to be overwhelmed lol. I had never imagined how complicated they could be with their variety/specifics of switch types.
I've noticed that a lot of people tend to prefer tactile and clicky keyboards so my choice probably wouldn't be too popular. But I really like the linear feel and I love the RGB customization options. Though there are a few things I can visualize that I can't implement due to how layering of effects works in the program.
$35 BF sale on amazon
I was a half-clicker until 2020 (used key binds for my left hand and then clicked anything that I couldn't reach) but then got a gaming mouse and its so much better. I got a Logitech G600 and love it. Not only does it have 12 buttons on the side, but there is a third button on top that acts like CTRL so the 12 buttons really becomes 24. Encounters are so much smoother now

Back in wotlk we had a holy paladin in our guild that only had one arm. He mentioned an mmo mouse a couple of times. Something along these lines https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0086UK7IQ
I use this mouse https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Gaming-Backlit-Programmable-Buttons/dp/B0086UK7IQ - and once you get use to the keys on the mouse its a game changer.
Alright. Then, let's start with this.
Try and see if have any preference. Feel free to ask for further questions. Or send PMs.
A few things you can do, and want to do. This is also for general you, not just specific you.

I use this one. The number of buttons on it borders on excessive but the software to bind keys to each button is really nice, and the third "click" button on the right is like a function modifier button, so if you hold it down it can change the function of every other button on the mouse (re-bindable by you).
No problem! One thing I forgot to mention; I'd definitely invest in an MMO mouse if you don't have one already. This is the one I use. Works great and is very inexpensive: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0086UK7IQ/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_JQRHSE4YCP6736QAA987

One option you might consider trying is using a "MMO mouse". The mouse has side buttons that are programmable, so you can have some buttons on your mouse, which will free you up for movement in a lot of cases.
Something like this, which is a popular one. It takes a bit to get used to, but it really helped me when I was having similar problems with juggling my skills with movement. I move with WASD and can hit the skills with my right thumb on the mouse.
Here's a video from Zepla that discusses her experience with it, that may be helpful if it's an option you're interested in.
My side of the story may be different, because I have short, and stubby fingers (yes, it's short to the point where I can't even hold things like two apples without one of them falling), so using a gaming keyboard was really uncomfortable for me, and most of the time, especially MMORPG games, or games that use the number row keys has me stretching out my fingers to the max.
My solution was to purchase a gaming mouse; one that has extra buttons on the thumb side for me to keybind some of the gaming skills (as well as photoshop shortcuts!), and it has solved my problems about my short fingers. The mouse I fell in love with is the Logitech G600. I love this mouse so much, that I bought three of them; one for my desktop, another for work, and an extra as a spare. The reason why I prefer this mouse over Razer's, or Corsair's is because of the fact that it has a third button to the right for my ring finger to sit on. This is an extra "shift" key that allows more keybinds for me, so I'm not only getting 12 buttons, but I can keybind up to 30+ buttons, which is very helpful for MMORPG games, as well as give my fingers some relief. Secondly, the G600 is way cheaper than the other two.
The only thing I don't like about big brands nowadays is the fact that you have to download extra bloatware in order to set their peripherals. Logitech is no exception. Their software are trash, and it rarely works with my peripherals. Oftentimes, my settings were deleted and mysteriously gone, or automatically switched to a different default that I've never used.
As far as keyboards go, I've stopped buying from the over saturated big brands, because quality is just not expected to last, and they break very often, such as my RGB lights go out of sync, and some of the keys, their colors break / no longer work, so I ended up with resorting to multicolored Christmas lights flashing all over my keyboard. If I'm not lucky, I even end up with keyboards that make annoying whistling noises when I type. I've tried brands from Razer, to Logitech, to HyperX, Corsair, Steelseries, you name it, I've tried them all, and even got blacklisted from Best buy's returns department for making so many returns due to faulty peripherals which is not my fault to begin with. I even had to stay up until 3am my time, just to speak with the brand's customer support, and nearly half of them were very rude to me, or mislead me to a promise that wasn't supposed to happen.
-------------------TOO LONG DIDN'T READ----------------------
As a TLDR: I purchased a MMO gaming mouse because I have short and stubby fingers, which helped my problem about my fingers stretching out. What I didn't like is the fact that buying big brands requires extra software installation in order to set up, on top of everything, I stopped buying big branded names because their quality is not expected to last.
Oh, close! That was already unchecked; I think it relates to highlighting text on the page (it was unchecked because that too annoyed me/got in my way long ago). I do appreciate the suggestion though.
I’m talking about the style pane. I’m not sure how it’s normally opened (I have it tied to a mouse button). I removed the style section from the Home ribbon, but its giant, space-hogging pictures were no help (the style pane is a plain-text column of names on my second monitor, not five or six pictures in a row). When you click the little arrow in the lower-right corner of style section, it brought up a style pane with a list of styles, options, and inspector, manage and new buttons. It’s just a button on the QAT and it looks like it's alt-ctrl-shift-S on my mouse (I don’t know if that’s a native Word shortcut or something I set to make things easier).
Anyway, it’s that pane that is giving me pane. When my mouse hovers or moves along the list in its window, a size-changing block pops up with the font, paragraph and style settings of each one. I don’t need to know what they are, I just need to point to, say, “AAA_caption” and click it (or right-click if I’m looking to modify it).
The four or five most common styles are on my mouse — the pane comes into play if I need one of the other fifteen to twenty that are only occasionally used (or if I need to modify a style). They’re all prefixed by “AAA_” so my custom styles stay in a group no matter what a client document starts with, hence that style pane is a great help.
But it has it’s annoyance, and hopefully there’s as easy a way to turn off those pop-ups as it was to turn off the mini-toolbar in the text. Any ideas on that front?
(On a side note, if you use a lot of keyboard shortcuts in your work, look into “MMO” gaming mice; they have an array of mappable side buttons. It's world-changing --- it lets your mouse have access to all your shortcuts, so if you're hand is already on it you don't have to move it back to the keyboard.
I use a Logitech G600, but there are wireless models available. Each of its 12 side buttons has an alternate and I can toggle through three independent sets. I can also set it to recognize specific applications, so Word has a different suite of functions than InDesign. There are a lot of customizations you can do with the buttons too. Doesn’t take much to get used to it, and I can’t imagine going back to a ‘regular’ mouse.)
Honestly, i can't play an MMO without an mmo mouse... its just so many more buttons available. I use this mouse: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0086UK7IQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

One thing that might help if you aren't opposed to spending some money is getting an MMO mouse. I use the Logitech G600. That way you control all your skills with your mouse thumb.

There's nothing that's going to give you as much control as an MMO mouse.
Otherwise, repetition really will be the only thing for you.
I'm sorry to hear that. I know how bad it can be. I used to spend countless hours 3D modelling. The pain got so bad that I learned to use a mouse left-handed to give my right hand time to heal. I have large hands, so I typically need a large mouse, because gripping on a small (standard-sized for most) mouse causes even more stress. If you have larger hands, perhaps you can do what I did and give you wrist time to heal while you learn with the other hand (learning curve is pretty fast), THEN try a larger mouse if you have big hands or a vertical mouse. As long as you have damage present, anything you use will cause pain until it heals. As for larger mouse, I like to use something like the Logitech G600 MMO mouse. It is 3 buttons wide! Since it is an older mouse, the price has come down. I actually bought myself a few of them in case they get discontinued. I love the size/width and all the extra buttons. Everything is programmable on it. I hope you find a solution.
Edit: Just dawned on me I am writing in a synth board. If you play keyboards, your hands are probably used to having a wider natural position, not a small mouse grippy position. Again, I'd let it heal first, then try the wider mouse or vertical.
It is $38.99 on Amazon today, if you're looking for a replacement (or you're like me and you want to replace the backup you already had and are now using).
IMO a lower teir gaming mouse is awesome. no need to spend a lot of money, but don't' cheap out too badly.

I have the Logitech G600 and the Logitech G602
I use to play runescape and i found that for that game, i like the G600 more because having access to MANY keybinds is advantageous, but i like the G602 for literally every other application. I dont think the G602 is being made any more tho, the price is very inflated. I was able to get mine a few years back for like $40 USD
If you have Amazon Prime and live in the US the Logitech G600 is on sale right now for 50% off.
https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Gaming-Backlit-Programmable-Buttons/dp/B0086UK7IQ/
I fear replacing my mouse because its a G600 and my hand is so used to the wideness of a 3 button mouse.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0086UK7IQ/ref=cm_sw_r_u_apa_i_m47.FbY8F5CN6
Thats what I use for any asking. Bought in 2014, no issues at all.
If you can't get a HOTAS, like the warthog, try a gaming mouse with a ton of buttons.
I don't have a working G2 headset yet, but have used the mouse with DCS a lot.
Now with the Warthog HOTAS, I never really have to touch the keyboard in DCS or FS2020. I use the mouse for buttons when needed.
Anyone has experience with 12+ buttons mouse, how painless is it to bind the buttons to in-game controls? I plan to play RPGs and some strategy
Yeah I wondered the same if a mouse like this would help him play better.
I personally use the Logitech G600 at the moment but that's probably not practical for most people. Previously I used the Razer Mamba, although the Razer Deathadder is essentially the same thing. I also hear good things about the Cooler Master mouse if you need something light but I personally have not used it, and of course the Logitech G502 is a pretty commonly used mouse too. I hope some of those ideas are helpful!
A Logitech G600! I've used one for about 3 years, it's very large and has a rest which is even a button if you want it to be. Their UI is also top notch.
Something like this would be cool as hell, but I think looking for it to be built into the game is the wrong approach. There are plenty of gaming mice (mouses?) and keyboards available with custom programming software that can handle this better than ArenaNet could.
Just imagine a Tuesday game update that breaks the F1 keybind for all Mesmers, and they can't fix it until Friday. I will go ahead and confess that I'd be cheering in PvP lobby! But for everyone else this would be devastating. UGH! >:O
Those interested may want to check out Logitech's line of... meese, particularly the G600 MMO mouse. It has a third mouse button on the far right - the "G" key - that enables you to change the functionality of all the other buttons. For example, let's say you have the 1 - 5 buttons on the side of the mouse bound to your F1 - F5 skills. You could set it up so that when you press and hold the G key those 1 - 5 buttons instead correspond to 5 of your mounts. Release the G key and you're back to your F-skills. There are a lot of great possibilities.
The same is true for keyboards, though a nice gaming keyboard with single key customization is hella expensive, you can get a small macro pad for pretty cheap. I have a Logitech G13 keypad - which I did not buy for $299 - that is great for this purpose. You can get it used for cheap on eBay. I also have a Max Falcon 8 keypad that I use for mass copy-pasting at the office, but it's a pain in the ass to program. Recently I've been looking at Koolertron's keypad on Amazon as an upgrade.
Good luck!
I see the G600 going for $30 on Newegg and Amazon, and I bought my Naga for around $40 on Amazon.
I was going to say you could get another G300s, though it doesn't have as many buttons.
I do see G600s on US Amazon for $30.
Invest in a Logitech g600 gaming mouse. Theyre 30 bucks on amazon atm very good mouse for gaming

I use a G600. My favorite mmo mouse. It’s actually on sale at amazon right now for $23 (https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Gaming-Backlit-Programmable-Buttons/dp/B0086UK7IQ). Super good deal.
Also the same price on Amazon.
I’m in the US, so that might be why.
Logitech G600 MMO Gaming Mouse, RGB Backlit, 20 Programmable Buttons https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0086UK7IQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fab_a5sCFb773DZTC
You should get a <strong>Logitech G600</strong> mouse -- it has 20 buttons.
I have the G602, with 11 buttons, and love the thing!
> If logitech releases a 12 key mouse
Yeah... three button mice are extremely rare these days. Usually "middle click" is replaced by the wheel click, which I personally hate. Tactile-wise, it's just not the same, usually with quite a bit more energy required to mouse-click.
Logitech makes an "MMO" mouse, the G600, that has three actual buttons. It also has a programmable grid of 12 buttons on the thumb side and a shift function, so between all the buttons on the mouse, you can get like 30+ bindings.
It has a traditional mechanical scroll wheel, but aside from an Apple Magic Mouse, I don't think you're going to find anything that has the phone/trackpad-style input for scrolling on a mouse.
https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Gaming-Backlit-Programmable-Buttons/dp/B0086UK7IQ
I see them on amazon for ~$50 right now. I don’t see anything about refurbished.
Edit: I just saw the part about your country. I’m guessing you aren’t in the US.
Logitech G600 currently on sale on Amazon. It's worth it if you play games with a lot of keybinds a lot.

You need to do more research before you post cause Logitech still makes the Logitech G600 and it is supported in G Hub, can be bought at Best Buy and Amazon for less than $30.
More so the Razer mouse that is like the G600 is called the Razer Naga it was first released in 2009, I bought the Molten version back in 2011. Also Corsair already has their own version as well for years now it's called the Scimitar Pro.
Logitech G600 - on sale now for $23!

I've owned the Razer Naga. the left click button started ghosting and double clicking. I owned a corsair scimitar. the software for corsair sucks ass compared to the other. The logitech g600 is the most comfortable, best priced right now as it's 45% off, and the software is easier to use.
It's hella available. Amazon
I know it’s not the same, but I use a Logitech g600, it’s great. I only play WoW really

If you are serious about it. Instead of a gaming keypad, go with a 13 button mouse. And program your most used shortcuts to the mouse.
An MMO mouse like this could really help you out. You could map pretty much any keyboard key for movement you need!
G600 is going for $25 on Amazon right now
Compared to this generic mouse for $33 which would be better?
I'd like to keep the 1-2 month shipping time for the G600 in mind as well.
https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Gaming-Backlit-Programmable-Buttons/dp/B0086UK7IQ
My friend uses this one I haven't used it personally but he says it is amazing
Or just get the same mouse you already have just new
i would suggest an mmo mouse (or a multi button fps mouse )they tend to have 9 keys you could customize and use those for abilities. for movement you can purchase a flight stick and set that up for it.
That mouse is 98 Gs and about 8 buttons short of true master race status.
I bought this mouse when my daughter was born. Rocked her to sleep in one hand while sitting on a medicine ball. In the other hand I was killing the monsters of Hell.

Greetings fellow bendy person! (I have EDS).
My hands are pretty messed and I can't do much with them so I try to have a billion input devices to switch it up. Vertical mice did not help me at all! Seemed like the wrong size for my hand or something though.
Most recently got the Logitech G600 (https://www.amazon.ca/Logitech-Gaming-Mouse-Black-910-002864/dp/B0086UK7IQ) but haven't got a chance to use it yet because winter makes me not able to use anything. Heh. But it's wider with support for the pinky finger which I think will help me a lot as I often get MCP dislocations on both ends on that pinky from mice. Also LOTS OF BUTTONS!!
I also have a Kensington trackball mouse (https://www.amazon.ca/Kensington-64325-K64325US-Expert-Mouse/dp/B00009KH63/). I read you said trackballs mess up your thumb but I don't use my thumb for it, just my whole hand or my index and middle finger together or whatever feels best at the moment. I use my thumb for the left bottom button only. It comes with a wrist rest but I try to just hover above it to not mess with my wrist. Moving it in the middle of my desk right in front of me helps wrist and arm posture otherwise I end up wanting to rip off my arm from the pain.
I used to have a RollerMouse (http://www.contourdesign.ca/product-category/mice/) which I loved for a lot of stuff but it ended up breaking... I think I ate over it too much and the crumbs messed it up and then I tried to take it apart to fix it and for the first time ever fully broke something. Oops. Heh. But seriously, having the option to easily mouse with the left hand or just differently on the right hand was really nice. I might have to get another one at some point. They have lots of models now so maybe I can find one that handles crumbs better. :P
I actually like controllers for some gaming. But if I have to do fine movements it doesn't have the same control as a mouse and ends up tweaking out my nerve pain or something. It just helps having my wrist turned rather than flat on a mouse (again the vert mouse didn't work for me though!). But it does hurt my thumb more.
Uhm... I'm probably forgetting something so will comment again if I can think of anything else. Mostly I've been waiting for laser eye tracking stuff to get better. Can't use the kind where you turn your head or anything because my neck is so messed.
Good luck and please let me know if you find anything good! Having to give up my hobbies and work and everything because of EDS has been rather annoying so anything to get me back on the computer as much as possible is a life saver.
(In too much pain to be super coherent. Hopefully this is readable!)

I like having a unified driver for my products so if i switch to a different mouse i would prefer to switch most of my stuff to a new unified, that being said i have heard good things from Logitech and steel series mice. There tons of options out there for you to try, especially if you don't mind having multiple driver controls around.
First off razer mice have a 2 year warranty so you could check that out as you mentioned to issue having after a year and a half. https://www.razerzone.com/warranty#a5
Logitech m600- on sale atm https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Gaming-Backlit-Programmable-Buttons/dp/B0086UK7IQ/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1511501319&sr=8-4&keywords=mmo+mice

Logitech G600. It's an MMO mouse but really solid looking, nothing "game-y"
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0086UK7IQ/ref=psdc_11036491_t2_B00E4MQODC
The G600 is cheap af too right now
Might I recommend this mouse to you? I've been using one for a year now and it makes a worold of difference with both PvM and skilling alike.
You'd be surprised the options that are available. I bet OP could use something like this and have all their control needs covered (for the most part).
And Logitech G600 for a pure MMO mouse with lots of well-designed buttons. Users say it is more durable/well constructed than the Razer Naga.
I found this online. How's this?
Not sure what you're talking about, they definitely are still made. https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-G600-Gaming-Mouse-Black/dp/B0086UK7IQ
Edit: apparently I can't spell
An MMO mouse like this would also work.
I find it hard to play on just keyboard and mouse due to all the buttons you need.
I really like using one of those MMORPG mouses (pretty much mouses with a numpad on the side), takes some time to get use to, but are great once you adjusted to them.
There are alot of them, but here are the link for the more popular ones (I'm using the G600 atm)
I also use a Logitech G13 Gamepad
I like the G600 because it has a mode shift button that can be tied to my DPI. I'm able to switch to extremely high DPI with a click of a button.
I was deciding between that mouse and the other Logitech https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0086UK7IQ/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER
I use this one because I got it when I played guild wars 2, pretty good for MMO's but a lot of them have a double click issue after a while.
Strongly recommend one of these if you plan on getting serious with the game. Makes it way easier. :)
https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-G600-Gaming-Mouse-Black/dp/B0086UK7IQ
Great build you have there. I assume it's for gaming, otherwise it's way over what would be recommended. The other people in this thread also have some great advice that I didn't address. Mainly I'm focusing on peripherals for now.
Monitor -- I have the same monitor, and I love the quality it gets. $229 is a total steal for that level of quality. (Just make sure you adjust the color profile afterward -- this is very important. Set the monitor to these settings to avoid terrible colors. (I set the contrast to 90 instead of 83, but that's just my preference. Load up a game and raise it / lower it in various conditions until satisfied.) For the longest time I left it at default, and after I adjusted the color I completely regretted not spending those ten minutes improving it.
Keyboard / Mouse -- I think you're really over-paying for keyboard and mouse. I use the Corsair K70 (mechanical kb's are nicer quality-- make sure you go with Cherry MX Brown version for key type), and the Logitech G600 (same buttons layout, still customizable RGB). If you also want customizable RGB for your keyboard, the K70 comes in a $50 more version, though I personally just went with the default red.
Storage -- Lastly, it looks like you only have 500GB for the SSD. If you're going to be storing video games or large files, it might benefit you to bump up that EVO to 1TB (that's what I have), or tack on a cheap HDD for some flexibility.
My brother lent me a spare Logitech G600. It's definitely a mouse issue and not the pad.
I'm similar to you. I have big hands so my two rightmost fingers drag if I don't grip the mouse with them and I tend to pick up lighter mice. Loving the G600 except for the 12 side buttons
How come the steelseries rival 300 is $50 and higher than a corsair saber at $68? The final mouse is also only $67
The HAVIT HV-MS976GT is the #1 best seller on Amazon for $10 and the Redragon M601 is 56% off, but I'm guessing they're lacking?
What's the best big/heavy gaming mouse similar to the G600 without buttons for my buck?
Try the Logitech G600, I've been using one for about 2 years now.
The Logitech G600 here qualifies. I have been using this mouse for FFXIV for a while and its great.
If he is more into Razer then this Naga Chroma qualifies.
for mmos it is better to go with something like this naga, g600, scimitar.
they have a lot of buttons on the side so you can have all the mmo abilities at your thumb disposal (from those three Naga is the smallest).
the g303 is a fps mouse designed more for precision
cons ( these are depending on your luck)
g 303 may have a rattle sensor i have one and it does have a rattle problem
naga razer products depend on your luck. i had 2 nagas. the first one i kept for 4 years with no problems at all until i step on it and the second one lasted for 6 months and i send it back. double clicking problems on lmb and the wheel started to fall apart.
g600 is really big. it is very well build and looks like it's gonna last (i have it for 6 month now?! i dont remember) but it is solid. also a bit heavy.
i dont know anything about corsair mice in general
Well that sucks. If you truly need to do everything with one hand there are some gaming mice that have a whole rack of mappable buttons something like this.
I'd suggest getting something like this and just binding the function keys to WASD controls: http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-G600-Gaming-Mouse-Black/dp/B0086UK7IQ
I use a Logitech G600, 45$ on Amazon; http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-G600-Gaming-Mouse-Black/dp/B0086UK7IQ
My father uses a Scimitar which is over your budget but corsair makes other mice within your price range as well; http://www.corsair.com/en-us/gaming-mice
You are right. I got his one on sale when it was under $40. http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-G600-Gaming-Mouse-Black/dp/B0086UK7IQ
G600. http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-G600-Gaming-Mouse-Black/dp/B0086UK7IQ
This can be accomplished with any Logitech G series mouse (see note below) with a simple lua script: http://forums.logitech.com/t5/Scripting-and-SDK/DPI-shift-while-mouse-button-held/td-p/1217618
Note: G600 scripting is partially broken (mouse1-4 does not report events) since either windows 10/'recent' versions of Logitech Game Software. Therefore I have to use a much more complicated polling script (with slight delay..) to get this functionality to work. I do not recommend a G600 if this 'auto sensitivity switching' is the primary reason for the purchase.
http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-G600-Gaming-Mouse-Black/dp/B0086UK7IQ
excuse me? also much cheaper
Logitech G600 Way better than a razer product in terms of quality and functionally.
I've never been one for the big fancy mechanical keyboards, way too noisey and cringey for my taste. This is the only one I would buy solely due to it's aesthatics.
fair enough, what about the logitech?
edit: CAD$54 on Amazon.ca
It's cheaper on Amazon, $80 is the original price.
This is basically the new G9x, it's an MMO mouse yes but is very similar to the size of the G9x
Mouse:
Played other MMOs with a Naga. Never felt 'quite' right. Moved to a G600 and never been happier. The side buttons feel better and I use them to fire all my LAS abilities. The big selling point for the G600 was the 3rd big "finger" button which I've mapped to directional dash; a huge QoL for me and one I cannot live without now.
Keyboard:
After doing the Microsoft Ghosting Demo I realized I had several dead key combos and decided to change things up. Tried out the G13; again never felt quite right and decided to take the plunge and go all in with a mechanical keyboard; did my research on /r/mechanicalkeyboards and ended up getting a tenkeyless Filco - it frees up space on my desk and my mouse isn't far off to the right.
Addon: Yetanothercombatmod so I don't have to hold right-click down to turn in-game.
I have seen an old thread where someone mapped their movement keys to the side buttons on an MMO mouse and so ALL movement is on the mouse and keyboard is just for firing off skills. It sounds cool but I have too much muscle memory in WASD to really consider it :) Good Luck!
Logitech g600 is also something to consider
http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-G600-Gaming-Mouse-Black/dp/B0086UK7IQ
A few more options I found, also the MMO-type with enough buttons for anyone: Logitech G600 and another option
Logitech G600 www.amazon.com/dp/B0086UK7IQ/
46$, adjustable DPI, everything remappable, full color space LEDs and it is very ergonomic (at least for me, i have relatively large hands.)
EDIT: Oh, and take notes from this guy.
Ah, I just bought a similar mouse for an entirely different reason, motion sickness! For righties who'd like the ability to make their mouse slower to prevent motion sickness (or faster if they can't move the mouse much!) there's the Logitech G600
Logitech G600 It lasts a long time, it is an MMO mouse though.
http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-G600-Gaming-Mouse-Black/dp/B0086UK7IQ try closer to 45.
Logitech G600. Best mouse I've owned.
It has a ring finger dpi clutch, fits my large hands, feels very solid, the buttons are easily distinguishable and its RGB lit!
http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-G600-Gaming-Mouse-Black/dp/B0086UK7IQ
Trust me. Side numbers are awesome.
Looking to replace my 2012 razor Naga, I'd prefer to to avoid any other razor products. I love the way to mouse feels but i'm not a fan of the software or the build quality. I'm also not a fan of the newer nagas or i'd most likely grab on of them. I'd really prefer a mouse with at least 6 easy to use side buttons, the typical 12 button mmo style works too though. So far I've tried the Logitech G600 and the Redragon Perdition, however I'm not a fan of their width (I like to have my ring and pinky finger hanging off the mouse, so i'm not sure if this is a palm or claw grip).
Can anyone offer up any mouse suggestions?
I play on my macbook and its all good!
The other day i bought this bad boy and its made it much easier. My fingers were starting to hurt after longer sessions.
http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-G600-Gaming-Mouse-Black/dp/B0086UK7IQ
Go for the mouse, but explore your options. Logitech makes great mice, I just ordered a G600 a few days ago, can't wait for it to arrive.
Logitech G600 It's over $40 but it is a really good mouse!
Sorry bud, but you're just probably bad.
Eat your words. If you're one of those people who just thinks it's all razer, you obviously aren't educated on anything gaming peripherals. There's a lot more than just razor at $100 for just a piece of garbage plastic mouse. I've seen and used a lot of different mice and keyboards, Razor definitely has had the worst quality of build and a longevity in how long they actually worked. They aren't bad by all means, but a lot of things are better, way cheaper, and you're pretty much paying for 2/3 the name, 1/3 the quality.
Another really good mouse.
G600 on sale @ amazon if you're interested in that style of mouse. http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Gaming-Mouse-Black-910-002864/dp/B0086UK7IQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1355966555&sr=8-1&keywords=g600
Here are some videos that will hopefully help you control your character easier.
Be sure to bind your skills to keys you can easily reach, instead of clicking them. It might take time to adjust, but with practice will become second nature.
I'd also recommend investing in an MMO mouse like the G600. They are super useful for other tasks too, not just gaming.
A lot of people have already gone through the hand placement, but I'd strongly recommend an MMO gaming mouse with numbers on the side of it.
https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Gaming-Backlit-Programmable-Buttons/dp/B0086UK7IQ
I'd strongly recommend this. I've been using it for a couple of years now, and it's on sale for $22. It's very durable, and has a ton of buttons that you can press with your thumb instead of having to use the keyboard.
If you like want a nice mouse with great side buttons the Logitech G600 is the best of them all.
https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Gaming-Backlit-Programmable-Buttons/dp/B0086UK7IQ
I remember getting the 602 for 24$.
Edit: 602 still at that price
"From all over they come to me" refers to Sylvanas because the only way to get to Sylvanas is to use one of the four corridors from the inner ring to get to the apothecarium where sylvanas resides. Each corridor exits at 3, 6, 9, and 12 on a clock face.
"Betrayal lurks in this hell" likely refers to Varimathras.
Varimathras later betrays Sylvanas in WotLK, but until that time Varimathras is lurking in the hell that is Undercity-- waiting for his chance to usurp Sylvanas and take Undercity for himself.
Doubt this one takes the cake because I'm not the first to say Sylvanas, but in the off chance I win I'd like a Logitech G600
G600... more buttons = better.
Depending on what you get, they ca be cheaper.
Like Logitech G600 MMO Gaming Mouse, Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0086UK7IQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_AjtGyb60APMK4
It is half the price of the one in the OP, and a very good mouse.
Right handed only, but not all 9+ buttons are expensive.
I bought the white one when it dropped to like $34.
(I suggest learning to use the mouse right handed for games, as it will BENEFIT your ability to play. You want your more dexterous and favorable hand on the keyboard, ideally, and this favors lefties.)
Unfortunately, left handed anything is going to be 1.5-2x the price.
If she uses a 2 or 3 button mouse, get her this and tell her to map her shortcuts to all them buttons. It will help her work faster.
Check this out: Logitech G600 MMO Gaming Mouse, Black Logitech https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0086UK7IQ/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_awdb_THjvyb32KBV22
https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-G600-Gaming-Mouse-Black/dp/B0086UK7IQ I don't own. Anything under 10 isn't that special really.
Would something like this work? You can bind the keys near your thumb to movement and thus control your characters motions as well as being able to look around with the mouse.
http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-G600-Gaming-Mouse-Black/dp/B0086UK7IQ
Well the Logitech G600 might be a bit overkill on the buttons
With the logitech software and you can change the DPI and the polling report rate.
You can also change it to almost any primary color.
The scroll has the ability to be pushed left or right for different functions.
It's obviously more of an MMO mouse, but I love using it in FPS games to switch weapons along with League of Legends to use items.
Well the only mouse here worth looking at is the naga epic, the rest are garbage. Instead of the naga you could get a Logitech G600 if you want the naga for the mmo buttons but for less money and brand new or the Steelseries Sensei which is the definition of customizable at about the same price as the refurbished Naga.
At $50 on the Anansi, which is refurbished, you could almost get a mechanical keyboard which will be more comfortable, have better build quality and have at least double the life span of the Anansi.
I don't know much about headsets but for the features they're offering, I know you could do better by going logitech or Astro.
Here is another multi-button mouse now go away. You no longer need Razer. You coming here and antagonizing us is the same as going to a Chevy convention to convince everyone Ford is better. You aren't helping.
I mean, my mouse has two side-buttons as well, but it only cost me $9. It isn't a fancy Razer mouse but eh, serves me pretty well. Just look at this thing, it's only $10 more and it has a million buttons. It's an MMO mouse but, just imagine Dota on that.
